• Catherine (5/5): - Location is lovely and close to the Blue Mountain attractions The cleanliness and lack of facilities such as basic kitchen equipment. The shower unit needs to be fixed as its currently not fit for purpose and needs to be held while showering.

• Afton (5/5): Convenient but wouldn’t stay again due to cleanliness. - Size of the property, the deck, plenty of natural light. New blinds. Pet friendly (note not a fully fenced yard though). Board games and toys supplied. Clean bedding. Ample tea, coffee and seating. So much potential… This home needs a deep clean and maintenance- it’s well lived in. Several lights don’t work or flicker , bathroom fan turns itself on/off randomly, water damaged skirting boards, window latches broken/unsecured, missing paint, heavy mould on most windowsills throughout the whole house and window panes need to be cleaned inside and out. The kitchen was grimy throughout and had dirty/stained hand towels in place of tea towels.

• Sahara (10/5): It was a little slice of paradise and a great escape for the hustle and bustle of Sydney life. - It’s a gorgeous house! It was so cosy and comfortable. The facilities provided were great, it’s in a very easily accessible and great location and we absolutely loved having a fireplace.
• Nicola (8/5): Overall a lovely stay with family in the blue mountains, cosy house in good location, would stay again - Loved the log fire, comfortable beds, nice open plan lay out, having a coffee machine was a bonus Ants in the kitchen, definitely needed more tea towels and more cutlery would have been useful
• Ruoxin (8/5): I like the place. Quiet and convenient. Happy to stay at the same place again in the future! - The house is great, clean. Very dog friendly, only maybe need another fence to stop the dogs to run to the other side of the house. But overall the house is comfortable. The downside is probably the kitchen and the bathroom. For kitchen, just need a better cooking pan. Probably because we cook a lot when we were there, so a nicer cooking pan would be great :). Other issue just the bathroom shower head… I think it’s too heavy that it keep falling off. Best to swap with a lighter one before it hit someone head or legs…..
• Marie (5/5): Basic accomodation with room for improvements, however comfortable and in a quiet location. - Heating and comfort of living areas. Fire place was set up ready to light when wood added. Location and setting. Bedding Towels and Electric Blankets. Owner was quick to respond and act to any enquires. Would be happy to stay again if suggestions for improvements could be addressed. Please take these as suggestions for improvement not criticism. We felt that the house was a bit hit and miss. It could have been a bit cleaner. Dust under lounges and beds. Dirty doors. Need for another rug inside door to wipe feet. Washing machines need to move so that door to bedrooms from laundry can close. Back door was difficult to secure locked and was open when we arrived. Plastic broom did not have dustpan. Broken towel rails. Fan in bath randomly turned itself on and off. Stove tops did not work adequately. Kept turning itself off and did not work according to instructions. Only one mirror in whole house. Only one wine glass. No working toaster. Cutlery and dinnerware miss matched. Cutting boards need replacing. There was only one tea towel. NO SMOKE DETECTORS.

• Jo (7/5): Was plenty of room for my large family and we had a great weekend away. - Location was quiet, easy to get to the sights we had planned. Great heating & cooling and fireplace option was nice 😊 Hosts were very responsive and helpful when I messaged them & even gave us a letter check out due to it being Fathers Day Can’t say I enjoy sleeping on memory foam or whatever the mattresses where made of but maybe that’s just me !! It also indicated there were 2 sofa beds but it was just a 3 seater lounge, it was however fine for one of the kids.

• Monica (8/5): A warm home to stay in the mountains - Many thoughtful touches especially Lounge throws, heaters and electric blankets. Lovely kitchen with all you could need, and more (even aluminium foil, paper towels, Vittorio Coffee and cling wrap) The stove fireplace worked really well and easy to keep clean. The host was quick and responsive, and allowed us 30 mins earlier check in and 1 hour later check out which was a bonus. Bathroom was renovated and felt wonderful with heating lamp included. Super easy to access the home. Sadly the cleaning leaves a bit to be desired, not sure when were the last guests. The coffee filter was left with old granules and it grew double thick with green and grey mould all the way below the filter basket. We had to soak it in boiling water as we had no other source of making coffee. The pots and pans all had burnt marks and even the ears of the only casserole dish/serving bowl were broken. The light in the TV room was broken so it was dimly lit there. The previous reviews said they had a welcome basket upon arrival; nothing at all in our case.
