Guest Reviews
- Nyah (7/5): - Bed was comfy It was dirty sorry, there were ants everywhere, all in the kitchen, on the floor and actually on the bed, there was no hot water for the shower and yeah the stains on the wall and tape was a little underwhelming. Saying the stay was approximately 500 meters from the main house was also mis leading.. it's a lovely place and a good stay, just believe the photos and descriptions should be more realistic.
- Christine (7/5): Was lovely and relaxing. - I loved that it was pet friendly and our fur baby could be with us. That the bbq was dirty so we couldn't use it.
- James (10/5): -
- Ana (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (6/5): Pleasant - The fire pit and balcony As a host myself I thought the provisions were not adequate. Also a promise of firewood did not happen so we had to leave the property to purchase. So promised service did not happen.
- Choi (5/5): Passable - Location was perfect and it provided perfect experience of staying in forest. They said shampoo will be provided but it was not.(I have screenshot). An toilet was not comfortable.
- Connor (9/5): Excellent -
- Ricky (7/5): Enjoyed the great location. Easy access to mount Tamborine facilities. - Lovely location looking out and hearing the bush. Clean and tidy. There was no where to put bags, so had them on the floor in the way. There was no tv provided.
- Tharaa (6/5): Pleasant - The property was in a good location and it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable but honestly I have stayed in better properties for the amount charged. 1. The property itself looked clean on the outside but since we had two dogs, who always prefer to sleep under our bed - I was disappointed when I looked under the bed - it was full of dust and there was a broom that was left under there - looked like someone swept everything and hid it under the bed and as a person with allergies I wasn’t impressed.
2. The mugs placed weren’t microwaveable - would have helped if they were functional rather than beautiful.
3. These particular toilets were a bit tricky and no amount of flushing would clean it. Would have helped if there was a toilet brush so that we can clean up after ourselves.
- Sasha (8/5): Very good - What a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but that didn't hinder the experience. Such a comfy, cozy place to spend a night or 2, and I will definitely do it again. It would have been helpful to have dishwashers liquid so as to clean up properly, as well as a clean sponge. Also, the previous people left shampoo and conditioner in the shower, which wasn't removed. Also, the shower itself had a few bugs on the floor and water dripping of taps, etc...
We are asked to sweep up any mess from ourselves and pets. However, when I grabbed the broom from under the bed, there were so many dust balls. There is a lot of dust around window sills, etc. I do totally understand what it is like living in the country, but the accommodation was just cleaned before I arrived. There was also hair on the dinner plates in the drawers, along with a lot of food crumbs.
Beyond all this, the place was lovely
- Marcia (8/5): Great for a quiet country escape - Peaceful and isolated Raining so didn’t get a chance to appreciate the full beauty of the area
- Cohan (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (7/5): Good - The location was nice and the tiny house was clean and pleasant. The steps from the car park to the house were practically unusable. Not really a dislike but be aware it is tiny as advertised. No TV was a surprise but not a big deal.
- Gina (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, peaceful and quite. It even has views of the ocean. Tiny home was clean, bed was super comfortable and they had firewood already pre-cut for our use. Just amazing
- Steven (3/5): Underwhelming experience - Bed was very comfortable Lack of matches to complete the fire
Lack of clean utensils
The blanket offered were inadequate
Disruptive neighbour flying drones around the accommodation and over our heads.
- Sophie (10/5): Absolutely loved my stay here, the best place to relax and unwind - It was really close to the main strip of mt tambourine, really comfy bed, great views, it was all great Nothing
- Heidi (9/5): Tiny Tambourine 1 - The bed was comfortable, the staff were very accommodating for our late checkout request, the view was great, and the firewood was cut ready to use in the fire pit.
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Panitz (8/5): Very good -
- Jamie (10/5): Pure serenity - The serenity, privacy and beautiful views. Fire was running when we arrived and was just what we needed One smelly tea towel
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Serene and perfect - The cabin we stayed in was lovely and quiet. We had cooler weather and were able to light a fire and roast marshmallows which my little one thoroughly enjoyed. Grant, the host, was very friendly and approachable. Will definitely stay again
- Anne (10/5): amazing place to unwind and distress. - The view and the ambiance was really refreshing Nothing it was an amazing place to relax.
- Bekker (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway - Beautiful location, tranquil and pet friendly Nothing
- Shelee (10/5): Such a great spot, very comfy and just the right size. So central to all that mt tambourine has to offer. We dined out f - Perfect size and central location Nothing
- Alyshia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherrie (7/5): Good -
- Julia (9/5): Very comfortable and friendly host. - Very comfortable and good views down the valley to the coast between the squalls. I was a bit worried as the tiny house was situated under trees and it was very windy, particularly when the squalls came through.
- Matthew (10/5): First Place in my travels I'll definitely go back to. - Peaceful. I work away and always try to find a new place to stay when I'm down that way. I could have either gone 20mins to Broadbeach or 20mins here. I went with this spot and this is the first place I'll revisit. Peaceful. Comfortable. Rejuvenating. I loved it. Nothing.
- Emma (8/5): It was pretty quiet and felt like a camping trip but with the luxuries of a simple home - It was what it promised and it was dog friendly
- Andrew (10/5): Gorgeous , seclusion , a world away from the hum drum city life. Beautiful. - Loved the location, loved the cleanliness , loved the ease of getting from the location to local tourist spots. Due to the recent storms there was some destruction to the land but this was to be expected and was a foreseen issue. It didn't upset us at all!
- Imogen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, very quite and a great spot to call base while exploring Mt Tamborine. Perfect set up for out door dinners around the fire pit.
- Ros (8/5): Beautiful location for a relaxing stay….would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the outdoor fire pit. - Photos true to word…beautiful views. Lovely bush land surroundings and no need for a TV. Bed was soft but firm, with pillows that were also high and firm. All the necessary needs for a n overnight stay. Owner met us and offered us a lift to our dinner venue so that was lovely for him to go out of his way to do this. Air conditioning was ready for us, which was pleasing. Instructions to the property could have been better…just instruct visitors to turn into Hays Rd instead of stating it is near the turn. Instructions to use the toilet weren’t available in the compendium but were later found on the online version sent to me…suggest owners add a runner on each side sod the bed to prevent any dirt entering the bed, as there were bugs and ants on the floor…didn’t phase me but just a suggestion. Fridge definitely was NOT clean and while there was coffee and tea, there was no milk or sugar provided… no hand towel or tea towel either. No instructions either for turning on the water via lever outside.
- Nathan (9/5): Superb - Cute and comfortable! Suggestion to leave some uht milk in the fridge for coffee/tea
- Kimberly (10/5): A magical place to stay - Loved the location in the woods, it was tastefully decorated and very clean. Absolutely loved my stay here! Would of loved to be able to have a coffee or tea in the morning. Having some instant coffee or tea bags would of been perfect
- Brooke (10/5): Perfect little hide away - Everything
- Tom (9/5): Nice getaway away from the crowds - Great seclusion for some rest and relaxation.
Great outlook, and comfortable spaces.
- Anonymous (8/5): Quiet, private and relaxing. A great short getaway for couples. - Quiet, private and relaxing. Nice views and great for a couple’s short getaway. The host - Grant - was friendly and it was great to meet him upon arrival. There was a bit of an ant problem. Not a big deal, but the towels provided were crawling with ants. We used our own towels, which was fine. Ants were also on the floor but not that many to cause a problem as we were careful not to leave any food around.
- Leigh (8/5): Cute and perfect for one night! -
- Emma (10/5): A perfect spot to switch off and bathe in the forest - Exquisite location amongst nature
Above and beyond service
- Anonymous (9/5): we had a lovely time - peaceful would be nice if the verandah had a shade sale or something so when it’s raining you still can enjoy the view
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (9/5): Superb -
