Guest Reviews
- Erin (8/5): Plenty of space, great location and all the essential amenities with lovely hosts. - The location was fantastic- walking distance to all the major attractions if you don't mind walking and taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of room for me and 4 teenagers.
- Chris (8/5): -
- Pat (8/5): - It was very well located. It needs a bit of TLC.
- Lesley (9/5): All 5 of us enjoyed the property and we would stay again. - It was very central. It was near to Waitrose/john Lewis. There was everything we needed. The bedding was fresh and clean a good supply of towels. All beds were comfortable. There wasn’t a huge supply of mugs.
- Matan (3/5): - Great location The apartment is too small for 5 people.
There are two bathrooms, but we were immediately told to be careful with the one upstairs because it gets clogged easily.
The Wi-Fi in the apartment worked intermittently and sometimes didn’t work at all. There’s a crack in the downstairs shower, so water leaks out and the floor is constantly wet.
Upon arrival, the host asked us to pay a £600 deposit, which we were not informed about in advance. She only mentioned it on the day we arrived and asked us to pay through PayPal instead of through Booking, so we had no choice but to agree. Although the money was eventually refunded, the poor communication made the experience unpleasant ,she ignored my messages for two days instead of simply replying that she wasn’t available.
If the host had communicated directly with us instead of sending her friend, things probably would have gone much more smoothly.
- Nicole (8/5): Fantastic host and location! - We had a great stay — both the location and our host, Andrea, were excellent. Andrea was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating. She let us check in early and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the house after check-out so we could grab a quick lunch before heading out, which was a big help.
What really stood out was how understanding she was when Heathrow unexpectedly shut down in March and all flights were canceled. We suddenly had nowhere to go, and she let us stay an extra night while we scrambled to rebook our flights back home to the US. That kind of support meant a lot during a stressful time.
The house itself is in a fantastic location — close to shops, restaurants, and bars, but still on a quiet street, so it was peaceful at night. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and Andrea’s kindness really made the experience even better. The only thing that was tricky was all five of us having to use one bathroom because, as another reviewer said, the upstairs bathroom is tiny and not really functional. But honestly, we were just genuinely grateful for Andrea's flexibility and understanding.
- Padeleos (8/5): Great overall - It was a lovely place, and very quite location
- Derryprovatos (7/5): Good - location
- Duaij (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Delightful! - The very best part of this property was the location. It is in a vibrant neighborhood, with just a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants as well as both Oxford Circus and the Bond Street station. Despite the proximity to so many activities, the location was also quiet and relaxing. The rental agent, Andreea, provided personalized service and went out of her way to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible, communication with us before our arrival and during our stay. We would very strongly consider staying at this property again if we were to visit London again in the future. Second bath is very tiny and cramped, but there isn't much to be done about that. It would have been helpful if detailed instructions had been left for operating important features, such as the dishwasher (we couldn't get that to work at all) and clothing washer, although the agent did brief us quickly on their use after our arrival. Finally, the microwave was perched on top of the fridge, making it inconvenient to use. When someone needs to reach over their head to remove hot food, it creates a possibly unsafe situation.
- Lori (7/5): Lovely house in great location - Location was excellent- easy on and off tube and very quiet location. Andrea greeted us with snacks and beverages. She also accommodated a late night flight arrival and gave helpful hints to make our travel easier. AC units worked great and definitely needed if you travel in summer. House is a little small for 5 adults since upstairs bathroom isn't fully functional. I didn't realize there wasn't a clothes dryer but that seemed to be the norm for most of London.
- Alex (8/5): Overall, we loved it - wouldn't totally recommend for any and all! - Andreea was very accessible and friendly. The property was in a great central London location and yet on a quiet street to the point where you almost forgot you were in a city. There was plenty of space within the unit to stretch out and relax. Not many places in London welcome 3 kids like we have, but this place made no issue of it and everyone really enjoyed our stay. The unit has visible water damage in a number of locations and there were a lot of dings and dents in the walls - it just didn't look great. Also, the general cleaning could be better. I dropped something under the couch one night and when I went down to get it there was a solid layer of dirt and dust indicating that area hadn't been cleaned in a long time. In the end, we are low-frills people so none of these issues ruined the experience for us
- Pashmina (7/5): It was convenient and comfortable -
- Ameer (8/5): Very good - Great help from Andrea, she was really so helpful. The location is excellent and close to almost everything.
The apartment is is in very quiet neighborhood. But with in 5 to 10 minutes walk you will be in desired areas.
