Guest Reviews
- Lenny (8/5): It suited us well with a big family to be able to get a space where we didn’t need extra rooms like in a hotel . And we - The location was good we could walk everywhere we wanted to go Salamanca and the mall Was a little crowded in one room with a table and things not needing to be there .
- Leanne (6/5): Comfortable beds and centrally located - Central location Dirty unusable yard, long grass and rubbish piled . Very uneven concrete, sleeps 6 but only have 2 tea spoons and 5 falks,6 butter knifes.. suoer uncomfortable lounge seating. People cooking and making noise in front building. (Running a business). Doonas too small for beds.
- Michael (2/5): The worst place I have every stayed in - There wasn’t much to like about this place it’s advertised very well but not what it seems Was advertised as mountain views-no views
Paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom and lots of mould and the PowerPoint is off the wall
You have to climb over each other to get into and out of bed and the pillows were very very soft
A kitchen drawer is pushed in so far it won’t come out
Skirting boards in kitchen damaged
One of the beds had a double sheet on it and didn’t touch the bottom of the bed
Advertised and washing machine and dryer-they are communal
Back yard is full of rubbish and very tall grass
Front door railing is very wobbly
Splash back in kitchen covered in splatter
Advertised as parking is easy-NO ITS NOT-you have to park 200m away
To sit at the dining table is an understatement
The lounge sits 2 people and the tv is very close
A random square of carpet just screwed to the wall in one of the bedrooms
- Michael (1/5): Bad - Requesting a refund only stayed 5 minutes place not good bad bad
- Peter (9/5): Superb - A pleasant stay, within easy walking distance to the CBD.
- Richmond (1/5): Disgusted and disappointed. Misleading advertisements and promotion. - Very bad. The parking space was do small and it hard and difficult to get out on the road without being abused or at risk of having an accident for interfering with the traffic flow in the morning and afternoon The beds were soft and hard as if metal bars inside the mattress. No wardrobes, The place is too small. The semblance of the lounge room was a con as the photo was taken at an angle so as to mislead the client. Very very dishonest and misleading. The doors were not what you can call secured and safe. The kitchen was not up to standard. Straight away you get the disgusting feeling of not touching or using anything. We never used the kitchen as we went to eat at Ibis down the road. The place is way too expensive for what is being offered and presented. I would not recommend that place to anyone. The two ladies with us refused to stay in that place and moved over to Ibis Hotel down the road for the four nights. It is fit ONLY FOR THE BACKPACKERS AND NOT FOR A FAMILY AS YOU GET THE FEELING THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HAD LIVING IN A PIGSTY FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY ASKED. DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTED. ESPECIALLY WITH SUCH A HORRIFIC ACCESS TO THE DOOR. THE PLACE WAS A DISGRACE AND DIRTY OUTSIDE. IT IS A RUN DOWN PLACE NOT FIT TO BE RENTED OUT. The ladies are going to lodge a complaint to the council about the state of the place. It is a DUMP. Over to you
- Max (9/5): Superb - Lots of space! Good location. Has what you need. Awesome to have separate rooms. Some beds were a bit springy. Tv was also pretty old (suggest a Chromecast so people can stream to there) but not a really big deal if you're out exploring the city.
- Sara (7/5): Good - Convenient location, very accessible. Point of contact was easily contactable and responded promptly. Had the essentials in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Small but tidy.
- Julie (6/5): Basic accommodation - It was close to the city, just 15 mins walk Lounge room was too small for more than 2 people.
Kitchen was basic, not many cooking utensils
Laundry was outside, very untidy and dirty
Garbage bins scattered up the front path, not a pleasant entry all overflowing
Back yard needs a clean up
No ironing board to be found anywhere
Very busy road to park off
More for young people
- Jenny (5/5): Great location and good value. - Location very convenient, made getting around Hobart very is and convenient. Great value for the amount it sleeps. Dryer wasn't working. Shower was not the best (hot water and water pressure barely there).
- Louisa (4/5): Disappointing - Location great More suitable for backpackers not a family
- Shivali (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (8/5): Cosy, city accommodation - Great, warm, and cosy accommodation. Can be a little tricky to find, but once found, it's a hidden gem. Close walk to the Elizabeth St Mall, Salamanca, and Sandy Bay There's a bit of rubbish laying around and limited amout of privacy with it being tucked in amongst so many other buildings.
