• Peter (8/5): - The apartment is walking distance to the main street and Woolies, the view is excellent. Our grandson was sailing at the sailing club, which is a 10 minute walk, very convenient As we were staying for 6 nights a broom and mop would have been appreciated.

• Edmund (8/5): Virtually perfect stay. - Virtually everything. This place was the perfect venue for my stay. I felt so comfortable and relaxed in the space. While I agree that guests leaving accomodations in ghastly states is an issue the notice about cleaning and possibly having fines added if things were not cleaned to a satisfactory level added stress to the check out process.
• Cate (5/5): Ear plugs required - The only good thing I can say is the view. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and we were kept awake until 2am one morning. Its also very noisy traffic wise. The apartment needs sound proofing, updating and re configuring. . You can here voices and the TV. We didn't sleep well at all and checked out a day earlier.
• Loren (8/5): What a view !!! - Location was fantastic quick walk to town. View was stunning !! To be honest from the outside of the room we were a little concerned as complex looks a little tired door to room splattered in something was a little worried we had made a mistake. But once you open the door and see the view wow we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely modern apartment with shinny clean tiled floor. Balcony with table & chairs, small kitchen (didnt use but nice to have) Good heat pump & ceiling fan not too noisey. Bathroom was a great size with tiled walk in shower just looked a bit tired. In room washing machine would have been perfect as its a bit of a rabbit warren finding a laundry & then you have to wait around while washing is done. Was disappointed to find our laundry bag got taken from the shared laundry that was a bit annoying. Obviously NOT the owners fault.

• Mengyue3127 (7/5): Not too bad, but it needs some improvement on the environment. - The only thing I want to complain about is the ant existing in the washbasin and in the kitchen bins. We bought some Croissant from the supermarket. We thought it would be fine to keep it in the room temperature, leaving it on the dining table. But we found there were lots of ants in it the other day. It’s horrible.
• Ava (8/5): Ideal for young couples, just wouldn’t pay the amount again for the disadvantages that come along with such a beautiful - The views were amazing! I loved how peaceful it was and being able to see it all from above. It was definitely a hike to get up and down the hill everyday if you don’t have a car, but the view was amazing. There were no elevators or ramps to carry luggage up. My partner and I had to carry our heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs. It’s also not accessible for wheelchairs and no alternative if you’re unable to take the stairs. The floor also gets very dirty, very quickly and the only cleaning supply was a dustpan, which was unrealistic to assist us to sweep the floor (we are also very clean people and were avoiding bringing dirt or sand in).
• Monique (9/5): Great last minute overnight stay - We booked this accommodation very last minute due to weather conditions. It was a clean and spacious apartment with a good view. We had clear instructions of how to get to it The apartment itself is nice but the building on the outside is run down and needs work. You’ll need a car to get to the centre from this location

• Jayne (6/5): Not bad but a little more work could see this being an excellent place. - The view was exceptional, and having a balcony is always great. A big fridge was very good, as there were three of us. Location up the hill with lots of steps not good if you have shopping or suit cases. The cleanliness could be improved such as the pillow protectors and mattress protectors are tired and stained. The shower recess needs a good makeover and cupboards in the kitchen are marked and tired. With a bit of extra effort and modernising/cleaning you can really make it a good air b & b and not just an attempted makeover of the old whitsunday terraces hotel rooms. Overall excellent host and organisation of getting keys and communication.
• Charles (4/5): Disappointed with the apartment. - Location was central We were mislead. There was no washing machine in the flat although the apartment was advertised on Booking.com to have a washing machine. We only found out that there was no washing machine in the apartment having paid (non-refundable) and on arrival at the apartment. We were then told that there is a washing machine (coin payment) in another building in the same street. We had already spent the first afternoon search Airlie Beach for a place to wash our clothes. Also, the apartment was not properly cleaned on arrival. There was brown water / soil around the toilet lid hinges. Also, shelves in the kitchen were not properly cleaned. Poor communications with the owners / managers of the appartment.
• Kirsty (8/5): Views to die for! - The view from this room was amazing. Room was lovely and clean with great facilities. There wasn't much not to like about this room. Our neighbours were a little noisy at times, but it was okay. The room is wonderful.

Couldn’t turn them off and there was no reason for them to go off but I heard an alarm elsewhere in the building too after ours turned off after 5 minutes.

• Jasna (8/5): Nice place - The view was very nice and size of the room was great. The location was close to the beach. While the view was nice, the hotel itself was on a very steep hill so not great for anyone with disabilities or injuries. I also had a slight problem doing the self check-in as the combo for the key safe was changed and I wasn't told about it. Luckily I had my phone but I don't know what would have happened if I didn't or if I couldn't get a hold of anyone on the phone.

• J (8/5): Beautiful place and great location! Would have stayed another night but had to keep travelling. - Beautiful property. It looks like it's been renovated and is very nicely done. Lots of room, large balcony and beautiful view! Initially I was confused about how to get the keys. I thought the lock box was at reception but when I tried the code it failed. The lock box was actually at the room itself which took a bit to find. I found out in the morning that the apartment is individually managed. There are also 3 driveways to this place and in the description it isn't entirely clear where to go. It would be helpful if the description said the name of the resort as signed on the road and parking is best in 3rd driveway.
