• Mikhail (10/5): - At first, it looks totally unreal: centre, a view to the main attractions, all the historical places in a 10 min walking distance. But the reality exceeds these expectations. The level of hospitality is fantastic, like you are visiting old friends. Personnel always to help, give some advice, support and cheer you up. The building itself might be considered quite old. The Terrace has wonderful view but might be cold during late evening. However, those I such a minor thing that are definitely not worth to be considered for the decision to stay here.

From the owner to the staff, everyone was amazing. I I traveled to many places in Europe, but I never met such kind and helpful hosts before. If anyone from the team read this, thank you again for your kindness and help. You can feel that they really care about their guests and want everyone to feel good here, and Yeşim is incredibly warm, caring, and has a motherly touch that makes you feel right at home. The hotel is clean (they clean every day), the beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. The area is also quiet for the center of Istanbul. We asked for a quiet room, and they listened 🙂 We also got a room with elevator access. The view from the top terrace is stunning— You can spot the Marmara sea and the Hagia Sophia from there. The location is perfect: Sultanahmet tram stop, and other important/famous places are only about 5 minutes away on foot. If we come to Istanbul again, we will definitely stay here again. -

• angie.b78 (9/5): Séjour au cœur d’Istanbul avec un accueil exceptionnel - Hôtel idéalement situé, à quelques minutes de la Mosquée Bleue. Depuis l’aéroport, un bus permet d’arriver à environ 15 minutes à pied de l’hôtel, ce qui est très pratique. Les propriétaires ainsi que tout le personnel sont adorables, toujours disponibles pour aider ou donner de bons conseils. Leur gentillesse, leur sourire et leurs petites attentions rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. La chambre était très propre et entretenue chaque jour avec soin. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était délicieux, varié et copieux. Attention à la chambre du RDC à côté de la réception car il y peut y avoir du bruit. Mais cela était indiqué dans la description et ce n'etait pas un problème pour nous.

• Malner (9/5): Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. - Reisezeit Ende April. Es handelt sich um ein kleines aber feines Haus, dem durch die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des familiengeführten Betriebes ein besonderer Charme verliehen wird. Die Lage ist perfekt. Von der hauseigenen kleinen Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf den Bosporus. Aus der ruhigen Seitenstraße kann man zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten die beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten inklusive Altstadt und Fährhafen (Must Do: Überfahrt nach Asien) erreichen. Die Gastgeber halfen uns mit wertvollen Tipps und waren stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Unser Zimmer war groß und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Das Bad ist etwas klein aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vollkommen ausreichend.

Die Lage ist für die Leute, die entspannte Umgebung in Istanbul wollen, perfekt. Direkt hinter Hagia Sophia in einem Nebenstraße. Ruhig und trotzdem zentral. Wie haben das kleinste Zimmer gebucht. Wenn ihr mehr Platz braucht,bucht großeres Zimmer. Frühstück sehr frisch und wirklich lecker. Wir hatten sehr schönes Gefühl dort. Vielen Dank Grandma und Grandpa. Die Betten sind für die Personen größer als 180 cm klein.

On nous a prêter une Istanbulcard et comme nous ne pouvions pas prendre le dernier petit déjeuner on nous a préparé des sandwichs. La chambre est plutôt vétuste la salle de bain mériterait un gros rafraîchissement, la literie n' est pas top non plus. Enfin le petit déjeuner est fait de produits très low cost. Cependant tout est relatif, le prix comparé aux prix actuellement pratiqués a Istanbul est très serré. Istanbul n'est plus une destination interressante pour les européens Stockholm devient moins cher en comparaison !

Гостевой дом для неприхотливых, номер небольшой как и весь гостевой дом. Оставались три дня, проходили только переночевать. Завтрак сытный. Особое спасибо хозяйке Ишим- милая, гостеприимная, радушная женщина, предложила нам дополнительное одеяло, истамбулкард, объясняла как добраться из одного места в другое, подсказывала где дешевле пошопиться, даже просто поговорить с ней одно удовольствие. Chambre familiale spacieuse et à l'arrière au calme. Bouteille d'eau dans la chambre, avec du thé et du café. Roftop agréable avec vue sur le Bosphore ! Petit déjeuner suffisant, sans chichi. La salle de bain très petite pour une chambre familiale de 3 personnes et qui aurait bien besoin d'être rénovée. Et un petit coup de rafraîchissement serait aussi le bien venu dans la chambre. Mais le tarif justifie largement le confort !

Отличный вид с террасы и из окон. Хороший устойчивый WiFi. Очень удобные кровати- высыпались и расслаблялись после длительных прогулок. Хозяева очень приветливые и внимательные к своим посетителям. В дождливую погоду предлагают зонты. Так же всегда предлагают вызвать такси в аэропорт, если требуется. Подсказывают как добраться в нужное место. Всем рекомендую этот отель. Приедем еще не раз.

Mención especial a J.J. y a la cocinera del desayuno, amabilísimos y muy dispuestos a ayudar. La habitación familiar es perfecta para tres personas, con acceso privado y directo por ascensor. La ubicación es excepcional, dentro del barrio Fatih pero en una zona muy tranquila y a tan solo 100 mts andando de Hagia Sofía, Mezquita Azul y Palacio Topkapi. Tiene al lado un restaurante con una relación calidad-precio muy buena, el Pallatium. Altamente recomendable por muchas razones y con un.precio imbatible. Me gustó todo.

Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Vieles lässt sich auch zu Fuß gut erreichen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen sehr guten Blick auf den Bosporus. Es ist ein einfaches kleines Hotel ohne viel Drumherum. Wer eine einfache Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in bester Lage sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

• Mile (10/5): A warm, comfortable, and well-located stay that made me feel right at home in the heart of Istanbul. - I had a wonderful stay at Berk Guest House. The property is located right in the center of Istanbul, close to everything you might want to visit. Even though my room was next to the street, I had no issues with noise and slept very well. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was complete and satisfying. They even offer traditional Turkish coffee as part of the experience, which I really appreciated. The place has a very homey, traditional atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended!

• Tim Patrick (9/5): Sehr charmantes kleines Hotel in guter Lage und für die Nacht mehr als ausreichend. - Sehr freundlicher Check in , gute Lage , sauberes Zimmer, gute Anbindung an die Tram. Zimmer mit viel Charme. Kurzer Fußweg zum Bus der direkt zum Flughafen fährt. Die Dusche war etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das es keinerlei internationales TV Programm gab.

Bize gezi konusunda bilgileriyle kolaylık sağladılar. Sabah kahvaltısı mükemmeldi. Kahvaltı sonrası daima Türk kahvesi ikram ettiler. Otelin manzarası mükemmeldi. Herkese tavsiye edebilirim. Yok.
• Brian (10/5): Wonderful stay. Treated like treasured family. - Just a great stay all around. Ideal central location right in the heart of Old Istanbul, small but efficient room with a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom, excellent fresh cooked breakfast every morning, and wonderful views of the sea and nearby landmarks from the rooftop terrace. But the part of our stay was how our hosts, Yeşim and Ahmed, made us feel welcome and at home from our arrival all the way through departure. Our room was on the first floor, facing the street, so I was a little concerned about noise, but that turned out to be no problem at all. Simple, no frills room, but clean and comfortable. For a true feeling of staying with family or friends in Istanbul, Grandma's House would be hard to top.

• Julia (10/5): Établissement idéal pour séjour à Istanbul - Établissement en plein centre à côté de tous les monuments, le tramway T 1 qui vous dépose aussi dans d’autres spots de cette magnifique ville. Les gérants de cet établissement sont tout simplement d’une extrême gentillesse et d’une très grande attention envers leurs clientèle. Très disponible, le petit déjeuner est complet avec des petits gâteaux, fait maison tous les matins. Bravo et encore merci pour votre chaleureux accueil..

• Cristina (9/5): Excellent choice - The location is excellent, right in the heart of Sultanahmed, but away from the cowds. The sea view from the room was amazing, one of the best things we loved about the Guest House. Breakfast is abundant and freshly made evry morning. Our hosts were so helpful and attentive, they were exceptional!

The location—right next to the Sultanate Hamam and Hagia Sophia—is perfect for exploring the historical heart of Istanbul (Constantinople). The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts showed genuine care and interest in their guests, making this cozy, homely hotel a truly welcoming place to stay. I enjoyed everything! :-)

• Marrian (10/5): Be pampered in the heart of Istanbul - The location was ideal-it was a short walk to the center of the old town. The owners of Berk Guest House made us feel like family. What a surprise that a nice breakfast was included in our stay. Our room was on the third floor and our luggage was taken up and down for us. There were numerous nice restaurants nearby. We hope to return. I highly recommend this gem. Nothing
