- Andrew (10/5): A fantastic place to stay in Rome - Fantastic location, easy walk to the Vatican, bus stop a few minutes away and a number of grocery stores in the next street. Beautiful view over Rome from the apartment and a safe neighborhood.
- Stacey (9/5): Would happily book again in the future- the views are just stunning. - We miss this apartment already! Situated right outside the Vatican walls (a very short walk to St Peter's square), the apartment was spacious and well kept, the views were unsurpassed. There's not much aside from the children's hospital in the immediate area, but we could walk to Trastavere in about 15 minutes, Piazza Novona in about 10. I could sit on the balcony or stare out the windows all day. Not a lot of extra amenities, yet we had just about everything we could possibly need for our 3 night stay. Plenty of towels were provided by the cleaning service and placed on the beds. We had a party of 4, and there was so much space for us. No dish soap provided for handwashing dishes, but there were pods for the dishwasher, a Lavazzo espresso machine to make morning coffee (and delicious coffee pods!) There is a washing machine, but like most of Europe, no dryer (there is a drying rack provided, just make sure you have enough time during your stay for line drying). The flat stayed nice and cool with the windows open (shutters to keeps the bugs out), the loft had a/c. TVs in all the bedroom and you could watch Netflix, YouTube, etc. at the end of a long day of walking Nothing I didn't like, but a few things to note- the apartment itself is on the 4th floor and there is an elevator. However, the street to access it is VERY narrow, larger vehicles like vans/cabs/sar service can't really access it and there is a lot of very steep cobblestone walking needed to get to the building. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you are mobility challenged or older this would be very difficult to access. My dad just turned 80, but is very healthy and hod no problems. A couple of things weren't working (not unusual for ST rentals like this)- a couple of lightbulbs needed replacing and one of the knobs on the oven/range is missing, but this didn't cause any issues. I would 100% book this flat again, it made our trip feel like a tv show. The one suggestion I'd have is the addition of a safe- there wasn't one in apartment and it would have been nice to have- we ended up keeping our passports with us at all times (but that isn't ideal either).
