Guest Reviews
- Anna-Maria (8/5): Overall we were quite pleased with our stay it was relaxing and had everything we needed for our stay to be comfortable. - Nicely tucked away and very private. Nice big space to stay with a big family or with friends. Beautiful view and was a delight to have kangaroos and birds visiting throughout the day. The property only had a rainwater tank for water so water usage was limited and when we were doing dishes or showering in the evening the water would cut off like it had reached its limit. We would have to wait for it to tick over and water starts to flow again. We just worked around this and made sure to all have showers before cleaning the dishes etc in the evening.
- Toni (8/5): - Location, space for extended family. The hot water was not always available so we boiled the kettle to wash up, and some people needed to have showers without any hot water. We did have 12 people staying so this might not be a problem with less people.
- Kayleen (10/5): - Beautiful view! :)
- Yichong (1/5): Very bad - The road conditions for entering the accommodation were extremely bad. Ordinary cars simply couldn't get in. The entire house was shaky, the rooms were very small, and there were a lot of insects at night. We had to use insect repellent spray. The landlord's attitude was very bad, and there were several hidden extra charges. He would decide which rooms you could use based on the number of people staying, which resulted in us having to squeeze into a small room for three people. We needed an additional room and had to pay extra for it. After we checked out, we were still asked to pay an extra cleaning fee. However, when we made the reservation on the booking website, all the orders had already included the cleaning fee. This is extremely unfair.
- Craig (8/5): - The view and all the little extras very thoughtful of the owners. No dislikes from the stay only having to leave and come home.

- Vasco (10/5): Great place to spend time with family and friends! - Great place to spend time with family and friends!
Wake up with kangaroos soaking up the ocean view and the scenery!
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - The best views!
Cozy home!
- Lucie (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (8/5): Apart from above it was a lovely house for all our family to stay in after our sisters passing. - Peaceful and big enough for the entire family.
Beautifully presented and homely feel. Freezer did not work
Was asked to change my booking date due to the host not being able to clean it in time after their Christmas. The Host was understanding when I said I could not due to family coming from NZ, however it is not something that should have been asked as some people may have just said yes to accommodate the host, as I almost did because I felt bad for the host, but I had family coming from NZ.
When I searched for accommodation in booking.com for angus waters. I was searching for a large house to accommodate us all. This one came up as five bedroom and that is why I booked it. I accidentally put in only 5 guests but still wanted all five bedrooms and when I went to change it would not let me. I then left it and forgot all about it. Apparently, there was small print that said only rooms will be allocated for amount of people. So, I was going to be given 2 bedrooms for five people. Most of my family are single?? So not sure how that would have worked if I had not read my emails to see the request to advise if I needed all bedrooms, on Christmas day. This was not seen, and I was hit with another 400 dollars on Christmas day, to have the 3 other rooms open, even though I had booked a five-bedroom house. This does not seem right to me, when the price is advertised as it was for a five-bedroom house. Extra costs should not be occurred.
I feel that was really inconvenient and another stressful thing added to navigating a family holiday after the recent passing of my sister.
- Christopher (9/5): Wonderful stay. - The house was wonderful. Very well equipped with everything needed and more. The views are beautiful. Location is a short drive to 1770 and Agnes Water and there is an IGA a few minutes drive away. So much wildlife around the house. Owners were very responsive and nothing was a problem, made us feel very welcome.
- Steve (9/5): it was a great spot - lovely view and breeze, very relaxing
- Fraser (10/5): YOU MUST GIVE IT A GO - We loved everything about this property. As soon as we walked in, everyone felt so at home. The property has large rooms with a large living area and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, crockery etc. The views are amazing and it is so quiet and relaxing. We loved checking out the garden and enjoyed watching all the different birds and the wallabies, as well as listening to the kookaburras and other wildlife . Everything was to love.
- Naomi (1/5): The deck wobbles, nice view, read the description accurately. Don’t expect host to be contactable if you have an issue w - It was okay but the host made the experience so much more uncomfortable. You better hope you don’t need to contact the host for an emergency because it’s impossible to get through to them immediately. The tradie was cute. Got confirmation of use of three bedrooms, then the host changed it to two bedrooms as they assumed my group were two couples. Paid an extra $100 to have our own bedrooms. Advertisement was not clear all listings were labelled as five-bedroom house. Water pump turned off on day one of our stay, luckily we knew how to fix it. Kettle tripped a fuse on our last day then the whole switchboard tripped. We were unable to fix this as the switchboard was in a locked cupboard. Host cannot fathom how this is a safety issue and labelled it a small inconvenience. We had no access to running water or electricity and were unsure how long this was going to be. Host agreed to refund $50 for the SMALL INCONVENIENCE, I am still waiting a month later and the host told me I have to communicate with booking.com to get a refund. The host still haven’t responded to booking.com regarding the refund. Booking.com has processed a refund for my inconvenience but I have to wait 10-15 business days, then withdraw the money into my bank. Host will not admit to anything even though everything has been misleading. Good luck.
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Serenity by the beach - the perfect place to relax and unwind. - The location was so quiet and peaceful whilst still being only ten mins drive from town. Lots of space within the house, great entertaining areas - especially the deck. Full size kitchen with heaps of cooking utensils. Beds were very comfortable! The hosts thought of everything and were a pleasure to deal with :) I can’t think of anything I didn’t like
- Nalannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kel (10/5): Exceptional - Devine spot perfect for all my families needs.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect getaway - The view was stunning. The house was large and comfortable. It was such a wonderful stay! Nothing
