- Manon (10/5): super personnel -
- Christine (7/5): Convenient for pre- train rest stop. - We just stayed a few hours to rest and shower before the overnight train to Sapa. This was a great location for this purpose. Showers were hot and towels were clean.
- Eleanor (1/5): Absolutely awful. Do not stay here - Nothing They made us go to a completely different building which was not a hotel. The room did not look like the photos. It was extremely dirty, nothing had been cleaned or mopped. So disappointed. Do not stay here.
- Martin (5/5): A really cheap budget hotel - Great location, next to the train station.
Very cheap.
Good if you need just a few hours break and don’t want to pay much.
Staff were friendly and helpful. It is really basic and facilities don’t work well.
The water boiler was not functioning, the bed was hard. The shower was above the toilet so everything was wet.
- Van tonder (4/5): Nice place but must put the new address on the site - The close proximity to everything The shower
- Stuart (4/5): Eaten alive by mosquitoes - There were so many mosquitoes in our room! We killed at least 20 and there were more still
- Fernando (10/5): -
- Kikkert (1/5): - Ze konden ons verblijf niet uitvoeren
- Jessie (1/5): - The bed was nice but that was it It was dirty and there were ants crawling all around the floor, there was also no real shower which was gross.
- Nicole (1/5): No worth it - The room was not clean at all water leaking from the ceiling. Got a superior room with a city view. Didn’t have a tv the window was covered with a towel, construction was next to the room. No water Everything
- Koda (5/5): I wouldn’t stay here overnight. - Cheap and convenient for the train station. We stayed here just for the afternoon prior to catching the train so we could rest/shower. Windowless room (which wasn’t in the listing description). Quite a few mosquitoes in the room when we arrived and lots more smashed on the wall. Only provided one (very worn) towel. Bed was extremely hard. Had we not been catching the train the same day I would not have stayed at this hotel. You can get a much nicer place for an extra couple hundred dong.
Location was not as the listing, it was the next street south, so had a hard time finding the place.

- Faidra (9/5): We were satisfied. - They gave us a bigger room on the upper floor and we liked it sooo much! We only stayed for a night but we wished we could had stayed more to enjoye it further. Great shower and air-con in both rooms. The address wasn't the one mentioned here on booking so we walked a bit more with our lugguge until we contected them to tell us where to go. It's only like a block or two away but still, it was someting that we could have avoid.
- Sirada (1/5): - They cancelled my accommodation last minute it was the day i was supposed to check in. So i had to search for another stay they did not even help me to find something else
- Vivek (1/5): Awful, ruined my visit to Hanoi. - Nothing at all. They changed the location of my accommodation at less than 24 hours notice; too late for me to find somewhere else. The "upgraded" room I was given as compensation was in very poor condition, see photos. I had to have an argument to get another room which was only marginally better. The Reception staff are inexperienced / untrained. Whilst I was out getting breakfast, the housekeeper cleared my room thinking I had left - 2 nights before I was due to check out! I was fortunate I arrived back before my belongings were disposed of. I regret that I booked this hotel and wouldn't stay there again if they paid me.
I just noticed that they are still listing their address as 65 Nam Nam Ngu. This is a lie, they no longer have that property.
- Jain (1/5): - The location The staff, the property was nothing as showed in the images

Old rooms and extremely uncomfortable mattresses. The staff was completely absent, but the guy at the front desk was always kind despite the various issues with the property.

- VAN CONG (1/5): -
- Harrison (7/5): - No water pressure, and minimal hot water

- Li (8/5): Spacious And Convenient. - The location is neat, very convenient to get to anywhere I needed to. The room is surprisingly spacious and the neighborhood although close to the train station, is not too noisy.
And the check-in and check-out procedure is so easy and convenient. I recommend it. The biggest room is on the rooftop, which puts some stress onto the AC, which makes the AC noisy. They don't have existing parking lot so you have a park at a public parking lot that's around 200m away (no extra fee).
Also they don't have bottled water, but they do have an electric kettle.
- Ronya (9/5): -
- Berlin (2/5): Very poor - Nothing. For some reason, they transferred me to a diff place without prior notice and the experience is worst.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Jordan (3/5): There are better options in Hanoi - Good location The day before my arrival they changed my location to a different building. The room was smaller with no sitting area like my original choice, but I was fine with it. A few hours before my arrival they canceled my reservation completely leaving me stranded. Considering they have two locations and confirmed my reservation, it was very concerning and disappointing that this happened. Overall, I think that there are better options in Hanoi for better prices.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Niv (1/5): Bad -
- Brendan (7/5): Good - We stayed here at the end of our Vietnam trip. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a building that appears to have been recently renovated, though not to a very high standard.
The couch was quite dirty, and the bed sheets were made of a cheap, plastic-like polyester that wasn’t very comfortable. That said, the apartment had a small balcony, which was a nice touch, and the location is excellent—close to great restaurants, relatively quiet, and we didn’t run into any major issues during our stay.
- Tom (1/5): Do not waste your time with this place or company - Nothing I booked the property in advance, knowing I was coming to Hanoi after the hai giang loop late around 1am. I was in contact with the hotel about this so I booked the night before so I could check in early:
1:30am when I was 10 minutes away I get a message saying sorry we have to disinfect the whole hotel because someone had flu. I find this hard to believe, but this also left me 1:30 am with no where to stay:
As you can imagine I was not best pleased.
- Lucas (10/5): Needed an overnight stay before leaving Vietnam and this property was perfect. Very dark and quiet at night for a great - Great food options nearby and great coffee shops in the morning. Location was pleasant. Room was clean and the AC worked exceptionally.
- Finlay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leticia (10/5): Exceptional - Special thanks to our host, Linh. He handled all our needs and responded quickly to WhatsApp messages. Very efficient and helpful person.
- Kajetan (7/5): Good - Easy check-in, good location, peace Owner was almost non-responsive
- Bradley (8/5): Great stay in a great location - Great location, huge room, lovely clean building Nothing!
- Corianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Inger (7/5): Good - Nice room with nice interior and we liked the balcony and the big windows, which gave the room a lot of light. The bed was also really good! Easy to access the building with a code and also easy to check out. We found it a little bit annoying and it felt less clean because there was a lot of water on the bathroom floor after showering that never dried. It also came water out of the refrigerator which never dried. The towels were small and thin, and we didn’t get new towels during our two nights stay, so we couldn’t either dry it up ourselves.
- Voudas (6/5): Pleasant - Close to everything , shops coffees around , hot water Mould on the walls in the reception floor , cheap ikea maybe bed and is not comfortable for a large man like me so is almost close to break the wooden layers , simple room withput any apecial thing to remember . Has fridge , tv
- Veerle (10/5): Exceptional - Had a really nice stay and Dzung helped me a lot with everyting. Really recommend!
- Solène (10/5): Exceptional - Super great
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mb (4/5): Disappointing - The location is good. Check the pictures.
Need to renovate immediatley.
Old clothes from other guests still in the Apartment.
A big hole in the bathroom, you can hear every time someone is taking the Lift.
Dirty Sofa.
- Noah (8/5): Very good - Very quiet area with a good balcony overlooking the cafes below.
Comfortable bed and a responsive host. The host was very responsive but gave us a different room on the first night that didn’t match the description. However it was resolved the following day.
It looks very new, but poorly thought out as appliances aren’t located near outlets, or Televisions off center from the rest of the room. It could really use a lamp as the overhead lights are very harsh.
- Katrine (8/5): Nice place, close to Train Street and fair price. - Nice, clean and simple place in a good location.
Host quick to respond on Whats App and helpful.
No reception, but works ok with contact in other ways. Some traffic noise early morning and evening, but well, we are in central Hanoi ;)
- Veerle (9/5): Superb -
- Jia (10/5): Exceptional - It’s really nice to live here, I have to say that its quite comfortable room , u could see the street view from the balcony, and enjoy the local culture from this area . Very important is that this hotel is super close to the famous “ train 🚂 street “ and in 100m , here has a super tasty shop of Phõ (米粉)😅too delicious 🤤 . So believe me guys , this hotel is worthy!!!!!
- Omar (9/5): Superb -
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Amit (8/5): Very nice - Stuff amazing!!! Help with taxi, sim and change. Big apartment, balcony, sofa, nice bed. Good bathroom hot water big and clean. With elevator! No hot air conditioner , just cold.
- Fabian (1/5): Worst booking experience ever - Nothing Alright: (STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN)
Booked the property while coming back from Ha Giang, were contacted by a guy that is in charge and being told that this property had a problem and that we should move to another of his properties.
As it was already late, we agreed.
We arrive at 2am and this guy brings us to this other flat.
Disaster.
The location was already way worst. Pure Shady.
The guy opens up a garage door and we find ourselfs in the middle of a renovation building.
Very bad.
Tools all over the entrance, no possibility of entering the house without calling him, etc etc.
He brings us up stairs and we find ourselves in the next problem.
The flat was clean (already something), but with no stove working, no internet working (the worst) and no hot water (worked for about 5min).
I told the guy that we would not pay for this ****, but he insisted in making us pay, which we did because it was late.
The next day we moved out one day earlier and were never reimbursed.
P.S. We didn't even get the change back!
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Thorge (6/5): At least for one night. - Adjacent to Hà Nội railway station. They cancelled our booking on short notice (reason might be true or not …) and offered us another apartment near by. For same price. This one had unfortunately no window and no balcony, but still noise from the road.
Not sure if the bed linen were changed after the guests before.
After that experience, for other nights in Hà Nội we had not booked any other apartments from ECO Nest because you will never know if and/or what you get.
- Shalini (1/5): Worst place I have ever stayed! - The location is the only good thing about this place. The room that I got (202) looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the last guest left. There was hair everywhere. The kettle was leaking on the floor near the power outlet. The tables had food bits and sauces all over them. The toilet had hair in it. The bedsheets had pen marks all over and random pink spots. The pillow cases had holes. It was just UTTER FILTH!
The 'receptionist' was not there when I arrived and sent me instructions (not clear ones) on how to get into the building. But then after I was in the room, promptly showed up to get payment. I paid in cash and he didn't have the change to give me so he gave me less than what he owed me, promising he will be back with the rest of the change but never came back with it.
I complained to him about the state of the room and he came back to change the sheets himself (which I helped him with because he didn't know how to). I ended up cleaning the entire room myself. Mind you, this was at 9pm at night after a long flight to Hanoi from Johannesburg.
There was a WhatsApp number to call and complain, but when I did so to ask them to clean the room the next day, no one showed up despite being told someone will be there right away.
Let's not forget that the WiFi went down and 2 men showed up at night to fix it in my room and stayed for 35 minutes. Is this safe for a woman staying alone???!!!! I had to step out of the room.
This is the worst place I have ever stayed in, ever! Booking.com needs to take them off their listings as it is a disgrace to have them on here. I need a refund for this stay. I cannot believe Booking.com would list a place this filthy and this kind of service on their site.
- Chinsiew (8/5): Very good -
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pham (7/5): Good -
- Nikol (4/5): Disappointment - Balcony was ok.
You can leave luggage before check in and after check out.
You can pay by card (+3% extra fee). MANY DEFECTS
Floor was wet but not clean, many stains on the table, bathroom gets flooded when showering - you have to stand in water because it doesnt drain properly. There is some light above bathroom that can not be turned off - there is light in night..
Also there were no towels..
We had better expectation. 🥲
- Aneta (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location, close to main attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Jedidiah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Everything we needed - Very modern and clean, the staff were very helpful. Great location and able to walk to town, markets and food nearby.
- Aneta (9/5): Superb - Very good location and very helpful stuff members. Noise.
- Brad (7/5): Get a new administrator - Modern, good size. Cleaning staff was amazing!! Check in was a headache, Wi-Fi password issues, no hangers, missing cables to plug in tv, one night security door locked me out. Price fluctuations which ended my stay earlier than I wanted. The contact/admin could care less about the client.
- Mohini (5/5): Passable -
- Dumaguing (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tino (10/5): We had a very lovely stay - It is very close to the train station or the old quarter. Many bars and restaurants around.
The bed was exceptional.
- Lewis (10/5): Would recommend🙏 - Nice balcony. Room was good value for money
- Manisha (10/5): Great location, friendly staff and superb showers - Beautiful hotel lobby and room. Excellent central location, close to everything.
- Rafael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great place to stay. We booked a room for three people and it was definitely the cleanest I have ever stayed in in Vietnam. The staff is really friendly, the location couldn't be better and the bed was really comfortable. It also has a minibar for storing your food which is nice. Highly recommended! The place was really good, but if I have to add something I would say that for the three people room you get a double bed, and an extra couch, and even though the double bed was incredibly comfortable, that extra couch for the third person was definitely not something you would like to sleep on for many nights, since it was really hard and quite small.
- Ellie (10/5): It was very comfortable, clean and the view was great. - Staff was amazing. Trying to help at all times despite language barrier.
- Jose (6/5): Good because it is close to the centre. - “Central” location. It didn’t have hot water in the bathroom. The owner says I didn't turn on the switch but I did and the water was still cold.
- Luisa (10/5): Exceptional - Got upgraded, pleasant reception staff, bed really comfy. I liked location , hotel decorations, cleanliness .
- Célia (10/5): Exceptional - The appartment was cleaned, the location is perfect, it’s really easy to moove around.
I recommend
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional - Had all sports free. Epic watched football from uk
