- Ingo (8/5): Super zentral gelegenes Hotel mit einigen Abstrichen - Obwohl in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen, befindet sich das Hotel zentral und nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bus, Straßenbahn und Metro. Der Abflussgestank war unerträglich. Auf das Frühstück kann man dankend verzichten, nicht ansprechend und der Raum sehr kalt. Kaffee gibt es nur instand aus Tüten. Auf dem Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher, nur die Steckdose muss im Zimmer gesucht werden. Das Zimmer wurde nur auf Anfrage gereinigt.

- Mahmoud (4/5): Nicht nochmal - Gute Lage.VIele arabische Restaurants in der Nähe.Nah an Metro Yusofpasa und Aksaray und Yenikapi. Zimmergröße war ok . Fitness kostet 200Lira pro Eintritt und Pool 500 Lira/Tag extra.Viel zu teuer.Sollte meiner Meinung inklusive sein. Das Frühstück ist inklusive aber eine absolute Katastrophe. Wer auf das Frühstück als Erlebnis setzt sollte sich ein anderes Hotel suchen. Nur 1 Sorte weißes Brot , Marmelade und Ei . 3 Käsesorten die von vorgestern aussehen und manchmal Cornflakes. Ein bisschen Oliven und gekochte Kartoffeln.Keine Qualität.. Überhaupt versucht man das billigste vom billigen zu nehmen , was ja ok wäre wenn es schmecken würde. Der "Service " ist schlimm. Die Zimmer werden alle 3 - 4 Tage oberflächlich gereinigt oder erst nach Aufforderung. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer wird vom Personal der Rezeption willkürlich, wahrscheinlich um Geld zu sparen, nach belieben ausgeschaltet bzw. auf 24-26 Grad geregelt ( im August !!!) . Jedes Mal muss man sich überwinden und an der Rezeption sagen das es zu warm im Zimmer ist. Am nächsten Tag das gleiche Spiel. Ich habe dafür bezahlt das es kühl ist, also lasst diesen Unfug. Der mehrmalige Nachfrage beide Zimmer in der selben Etage zu haben wegen den Kindern wurde ignoriert. So schlief die eine hälfe im 4. Und die andere im 2. Stock 18 Tage lang. Wir haben versucht so gut es geht dem Personal an der Rezeption zu meiden da diese nicht wirklich kompetent auftraten. In diesem Hotel ist der Kunde nicht König. Leider hatte ich aus Dummheit die 18 Nächte im voraus bezahlt ohne kostenloser Stornierungsoption. Sonst wäre ich maximal 2 Tage da geblieben bis ich was besseres finde.( direkt gegenüber) Wir haben das beste draus gemacht, fast immer draußen gefrühstückt und irgendwie ist die Zeit vergangen. Leider lernen die Verantwortlichen des Hotels aus dieser und anderer Kritik nicht. Sie werden wie bei den anderen negativen Rezensionen antworten, das ich das Hotel schlecht machen möchte. Die Wahrheit tut weh. Verbessert einfach euren Servie !!! Lage und Zimmer sind ja ok.

- ZAHER EL KHATIB (7/5): مستوى هذا الفندق جيد، تقييمي له 7 من أصل 10. - الأشياء التي أعجبتني في فندق Valens Hotel Downtown هو في اتساع غرفة النوم المزدوجة وتحتوي على سرير مزدوج وسرير فردي حيث تقدر مساحتها ب30 متر مربع على الاكثر. تطل غرفتي على شارع داخلي هاديء، بعيد عن ضجيج السيارات وصخب المارة، فهي لا تبعد أكثر من مسافة 150 أو 160 متر من محطة ترام يوسف باشا، وهذه ميزة رائعة في موقع هذا الفندق. كانت مرافق الغرفة جيدة بعض الشيء، حيث اقتصرت على وجود قنينتين مياه ومظاريف الشاي في اليوم الاول للحجز، هذا بالاضافة الى توافر قناني شامبو الشعر وجلّ الاستحمام (شاورز) والصابون ذو الرائحة الذكية في الحمام. الأشياء التي لم تعجبني في فندق Valens Hotel Downtown هو عدم وجود بعض الاصناف المهمة أذكر منها، حساء الشوربة نادر الوجود، والاومليت اليومي غير متوافر، وأي نوع من أنواع المكسرات والمجففات على مختلف أنواعها مفقود، وكذلك أي صنف من أصناف العسل غير مُيَسّر، وكعك السيميت والسمون الاسمر غير موجودان، وأيضاً الفواكه على مختلف أصنافها غير متواجدة ما عدا البطيخ منهم. يوجد القليل من أصناف الجبنة صنفان منهم، انما مزين في عدة اشكال، وفي عدم توافر الحليب الساخن انما البارد منه.

Sie waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben sich wirklich bemüht, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. - Ahmad (7/5): - Location is okay. Value for money. 1- The swimming pool is on additional charges. Booking.com & hotel shall mention prior to booking. 2- The cleaning is very poor. They will not clean on a daily basis. They clean once in 2 days. Soaps & shampoos are not adequate for 2 days. 3- AC is not controlled from the room. It's control from reception and you have to call every time to ON/OFF the AC.

- Robin (6/5): Pool and gym are not included and make you pay extra - The staff were nice, bedw were comfortable The room was dirty, fridge didn’t work, and walls were peeling, online it said there was a gym and pool which there was but had to pay an extra 200L a day for gym and 500L a day for the pool. Limited our facilities and not the greatest location

No onsite facilities and breakfast is appalling - The only thing I can say positive about this hotel is it’s in a ok location. Otherwise it’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. This hotel misled us. Has lots of photos of gym and swimming pool but it’s all extra! None of it is on site too! You have to go to other places for these facilities. We had to beg for towels, beg for toilet paper, beg for the AC to be put on. Gives us so many excuses not to give us these basic things. Towels, oh the clears are not around, cupboard is closed. AC, oh it’s broken, engine is coming tomorrow, toilet paper, oh, our owner said not to give too much toilet paper! They have no toilet paper in the lobby toilet, asked for us and this is what they said! Unbelievable! Cheap and stingy! Never again!

- Haroon (8/5): I stayed hear for 4 days. I arrived early in the morning and was given a room straight away. I enjoyed my stay here with - The property provides breakfast which is very good and has transportation with a 5 minute walk. The hammam and swimming facilities are great. N/A
- Imran (6/5): Pleasant - The swimming price not included in the hotel stays as might have been suggested when the booking was made. Also, you have to wait for midday for it to open, but that's when you want to travel outside. Breakfast was of poor choice, and even though also included, I found myself buying from elsewhere. I requested some cheese toast, and the staff would say it's finished. The stand is filled with butter and jams but no toast!! I also requested fir some extra toilet paper and water bottles as we were a family of 5, but staff said they don't give any extra and must be purchased elsewhere. I can't fault the cleaning staff, they do a wonderful job. Although they kept on removing my water bottle that I kept for a number 2. Lol To be honest, I expected one of those sprinkler taps next to the toilets, but we can't have it all. Bedroom TV did not have any signal, so when raining outside and you are stuck indoors, then you can get bored easily, but thanks to free wifi we survived 😀

- Farahi (4/5): Disappointing - The hotel had a calm atmosphere, and the beds were comfortable for me. The location was close to the metro, which was very convenient. There were small cockroaches in the bathroom. They would come out at night and run away when we entered the bathroom in the morning. Our clothes got wrinkled in the suitcase, and they didn’t have an iron to lend us. The breakfast was very limited and unhealthy. The taxi I had booked through the hotel left me waiting at the airport for 20 minutes, and in the end, no one took responsibility or even apologized.

Room was very good, no complaints with the staff either, they were very helpful in suggestions of places to see and how to get there. Breakfast, not the standard continental breakfast I’d have but it was sufficient enough to set you up for the day. I’d definitely book here again if I went back to Istanbul.

Renting a car was pointless as is busy area and it's easier to use local transport which is way cheaper The best receptionist, helpful, kind and professional Dokan provided the greatest service that you want to come back. When checkimg in, receptionist wasnt in the best mood. Didnt say what time is breakfast and didnt ahow a sign of welcoming. I was upset by fact you have to pay extra to use swimming pool (entry and facilities separately payment) On corridors cigarettes smell, was entering the rooms as well, even air refresher didn't help.. all clothes smell of cigarettes, its very bad hotel for non smoking person. Breakfast was extremely simple.. I would say students would love it. They also have no iron in the hotel. (As they said is broken) what was quite funny to have only one iron for 4 floor hotel Shower little moldy Housekeeping didn't fulfill water and coffee until we ask. In Turkey you can get fake brands, the same way this hotel got 2 additional stars. Definitely its not a 4* hotel On the top of that communication between booking.com and hotel is nit the greatest as our checkout was midnight (booking.com) but at the hotel was 12:00. Luckily I clarify that before going out.

Breakfast was nice except for the butter The room was very spacious and comfortable. Well equiped. Staff was very friendly. The room was very dusty, missing basic items and the access to SPA was very limited in timing and expensive for what it is. I found that an hour swimming and sauna is to short for the price asked in the hotel.There should be a better pricing and timing offers for guests staying at the hôtel. I think. It was very disapointing.

I don't like the room curtains were not clean and full of fine dust, which caused me allergies and daily headaches

- Amer (10/5): Exceptional - I had a grear stay in Valens hotel. Murat bey was so helpful in everything. He is friendly, helpful and very polite. I recommend staying in valens. It is 2 min to station, you can reach anywhere from there.
