• Kerstin (10/5): - Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel. Es gibt eine Terrasse oben auf dem Dach, die uns sehr gut gefallen hat, einen Garten und es gibt eine Küche die man benutzen kann. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mir Blick in den Garten, wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Shops und genug Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Das Frühstück wird in einem Soda außerhalb des Hotels eingenommen, es ist aber nur ein sehr kurzer Weg. Die Damen vom Soda waren sehr freundlich und das Frühstück hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

• Fabio (10/5): - Super Personal, so freundlich und hilfsbereit! Sie haben uns viele Tipps gegeben, waren immer ansprechbar und höflich. Das Zimmer hat einen Balkon (fehlt vielleicht ein Stuhl), dazu kommen die Terrasse und der Garten. In der Küche kann man sein eigenes Essen zubereiten. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit hier gehabt.

They helped us to park the car on their property as well, which was great as Turrialba itself does not have a lot of (free) parking options. The bed was a bit small for two persons. The room was also quite warm and we could not really cool it down. We had a ceiling fan which only seemed to work on one speed setting. I guess this is why the room also had a plug-in ventilator, but this was quite noisy so not something we would keep on all the time.

• obi08 (8/5): - Gemütliches kleines StadtHotel, eher Hostel. Viele junge Leute und entsprechender Lärmpegel. Zimmer sehr klein. Kein Frühstück. SelbstversorgerKüche. Gemütlicher kleiner Garten. Dachterrasse, auf der man abends schön relaxen kann. Der große Vorteil der zentralen Lage ist gleichzeitig der größte Nachteil. Nur 2 ganz enge Parkplätze im Hof. Auf der Straße ist Parkverbot.

Die Unterkunft eignet sich optimal für die Durchreise 1-2 Nächte. Einfache Ausstattung, aber alles sehr sauber, gutes Preis-Leistungscerhältnis. Das incluierte Frühstück in der Soda Octubre 12 war spitze. Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

La présence d'une cuisine qui dispose de tout le nécessaire nous a séduit. Une place de parking nous était réservée (places limitées, les manœuvres peuvent être délicates !)

• Anastasia (10/5): A night to remember in Turrialba - Υπέροχη εμπειρία στην Τουριάλμπα. Άνετο και όμορφο δωμάτιο, πάρα πολύ φιλικά όλα τα παιδιά στη ρεσεψιόν και έξτρα μπόνους δωρεάν πρωινό από ένα διπλανο soda! Ευχαριστούμε Casa de Lis θα είναι χαρά μας να επιστρέψουμε!

Parking bien pratique quand on a une voiture. Salon, Terrasse sur le toit et jardin où l’on peut avoir un café à toute heure. Petit déjeuner local à environ 100m de l’hôtel à partir de 6h.

• Helmut (9/5): Ist absolut in Ordnung für eine Nacht. - Man hat dann den privaten Wagen herausgefahren um uns einen sicheren Parkplatz zu gewähren. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und nett. Es gab einen Garten mit Terrasse! Da es im Zentrum eines Ortes liegt war es recht laut. Damit muss man in der Lage aber rechnen. Der „Kollege“ morgens beim aushecken, war dann weniger freundlich. Wahrscheinlich haben wir ihn gestört.

• Martin (9/5): - Moc útulný friendly hostel, s velkou společnou kuchyní, příjemným posezením u vnitřní zahrady nebo na střešní terase, s výhledem na město a sopku. A hlavně neomezeným přísunem vynikající překapávané kávy ve vnitřním vestibulu. Usměvaví recepční fungují v čase 2 - 8PM. Rafty Vám zajistí a nemusíte se dál o nic starat. Pokoje čisté, sprchy CR standart. Paráda, doporučuji. PS Na vrchol Turrialby vyrazte co nejdříve, nejlépe ještě před rozedněním, nejpozději po 10h se ponoří definitivně do mraků a začne pršet.. Je to super zážitek! Jediný problém je s parkováním. Před hotelem to není možné. Recepční poradí.. :-)

• Sabine (8/5): Central pour une étape a Turribalda - Nous avons eu une premiére petite chambre sur la rue puis la deuxiéme nuit une belle grande chambre confortable et ensoleillée avec vue sur le jardin. Personnel attentioné. Prés de la gare de bus. Nous avons passé Noël dans l’établissement, le petit déjeuner du 25 a été préparé par l’hôtel, nous aurions apprécié quelques spécialités locales de Noël. Le premier PDJ dans un SODA et non a Santo Pan comme nous l’avions lu dans certains commentaires.

All the people there are super friendly and helpful and the hotel has a beautiful terrace and a patio. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe from the first moment. I will definitely stay again if I will be in the area.

• Maria (9/5): We had a wonderful stay at this totally lovely place with the most friendliest staff. We enjoyed it very much! - Absolutely lovely place with great room and a very cute backyard with a terrace. The location is in the city centre of Turrialba and we were able to walk everywhere with our little daughter as all the restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and playgrounds are just a few minutes by foot away. Our room was very clean and the whole hotel has a very homey and lovely atmosphere. The staff and the owners are the most friendliest people. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!
• Dorka (7/5): - Staff was really friendly. The room was simple, but clean bathroom the same. There’s a shared kitchen were you can cook some things. There’s a small garden and a terrace with a hammock which can be good places to spend some time. It’s good to spend one or two nights here. For longer stays the rooms can be a bit small. The kitchen could’ve been a bit cleaner but maybe it’s because of the other guests.

Tenía jarra para los mates y continuar viaje (está en medio entre Pacífico y Atlántico) Por la noche y la mañana temprano no hay nadie y el sitio tiene 2 puertas que se cierran solas, si uno está solo se le complica hacer check out. Las puertas de la habitación y el balcón no cierran, las cerraduras eran bastante malas

The staff at reception was wonderful. It is easy to find parking on the street, though just be aware that the parking is on the street, That was fine as far as I was concerned,

• Christian (9/5): Gute Unterkunft in Turrialba - Sehr freundliche Dame am Empfang, die Unterkunft ist ein sehr nett gemachtes Hostel (nicht Hotel !) mit schöner Garten- & Dachterrasse. Die Küche kann benutzt werden und es gibt Kaffee und Tee gratis. Insgesamt waren alles einwandfrei und wir waren recht zufrieden. Keine Klimaanlage und kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Das Internet / WLAN ist leider sehr langsam.
