Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional location and super lovely hosts! - The location is incredible - quiet, remote and peaceful. View of the beach, vines rivulet, and all within walking distance. We swam at the beach and kayaked up the rivulet. The cottage is very sweet, has everything you need, and very clean.
The property hosts were exceptional. They were responsive to our messages before and during our stay. As a bonus, you can order a bottle of the Lisdillon Estate wine and have it delivered to your door. The hosts are located on the Estate, so if you need anything are close by, while also respecting your space and privacy. There was absolutely nothing to not like!
- Murali (9/5): Super serene tranquil date with nature. - Amazing views, it was like paradise on earth. So peaceful. Just what we needed for a stress free break to take in the tranquil beauty of bountiful nature. Nothing we didn’t like about the property.
- Ryoko (10/5): Fantastic place to stay to explore the region. - I love the location and how it was close to the beach! Sitting at the outside deck was just relaxing! The cottage had everything we needed and it was clean.
- Allie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): A very comfortable stay with a great view - loved the mid century furniture and decor! - Cosy and warm - my children loved the cassette tape recorder and the electric blankets!
- Pearleen (10/5): I would defintely recommend others to experience a stay! - Venue and the apartment itself was really beautiful with little sheeps around 😃 Nothing to dislike except a plate or two were found dirty.
- Jill (8/5): Very good - The property had a superb private beach and inside the house was tidy and clean with retro furnishings The house was surrounded by many thistles ( which the sheep didn't seem to mind !) and the modem kept hanging
- Allison (10/5): Comfortable beds exceeded my expectations highly recommend a stay at Lisdillon. - Unique- so special beautiful isolated farm with private beach and river in the property. Stunning views. And the little house was delightful- decorated with 1960s vibe. Nothing it is as perfect
- Johanna (7/5): Location lovely, needs some work spent on final details as mentioned. - Location Only x 1 towel each, should have at least 2
Need alternate choice to duna, blankets in cupboard. Husband couldn’t sleep as to hot under duna. Didn’t sleep due to heat, next day tired, ruined our short trip.
Dishwasher was not unpacked on our arrival.
Would have been nice to have fire set up to use first night - full of ash and no sticks or wood available.
Late check in, wastes a whole day that you are paying for.
Would have been nice to have had some milk in fridge for a cuppa when arriving after travelling.
- Tania (8/5): Very quiet and relaxing! - Location was quiet and relaxing.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - The view… soooo worth it all for the view
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about Pip's. It's one of those places that you never want to leave. Absolutely one of the highlights of our time in Tasmania.
- Saz (8/5): Peaceful, coastal and country combined - great to chill out. - Amazing location with water views, vines in front of the view, sheep wandering freely and plenty of room for 4 of us. The need to pay for wood once the initial supply was exhausted.
- Sandra (10/5): A stunning private spot with beautiful views and retro furniture with heaps of appeal - Stunning views, loved the private beached just wish we had more time to enjoy
- Slade (10/5): Amazing place to relax - Amazing view over the vineyard and the beach. Nearby river is lovely to sit by and chill. The place is super clean and comfortable. The bathroom Sukin soaps are really great. Katherine is lovely to deal with and communication was excellent. Can’t wait to stay here again! It was all great!
- Brett (9/5): Wonderful, comfortable stay in a beautiful location. - Fantastic location and views. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely private beaches. Responsive host. No free to air TV. Only streaming services that require your own login and are a bit unreliable due to patchy internet coverage.
- Phillips (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, calm and scenic
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Johannes (10/5): Cozy stay at a beautiful location. - We were given great instructions upon entry to our stay with the hosts providing further clarification. The location was also very serene with a private beach, a beautiful vineyard to look over and a few very cute sheep which also freely roam the property. The property had also plenty of things to do there as the hosts provide a booklet with many options of activities. You can even purchase wine from the property that they will hand delver to your room before a certain time. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be back in the future.
- Rosemarie (9/5): Amazing and beautiful place to stay, and the host was very accommodating and generous. - Loved the location and the amenities. There's so much to do would've loved to stay longer. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed in the main room was super comfortable. The views are amazing. Looking at booking this place whenever we're in tassie. The sofa could be bigger, and firewood was a little damp too light up the fireplace. But these things did not matter, cause the place had too many great factors.
