Guest Reviews
- Patricia (1/5): AVOID - I had booked the property two months in advance of our stay, I received a pet waiver two days before our stay. Messaged the property the day of check in as I had not received the details on how to get in to the property, all phone numbers were going to voicemail. We waited at the property at check in time for an hour as well as talking with booking.com help centre only to have our booking cancelled on us “for reasons that were unclear” is what I was informed. I then had to book another house last minute at my own cost again. I received a text from one of the numbers on the property informing me they no longer work for Dukes cottage and to try the other number that went straight to an automated voicemail. If you don’t want to spend over $1000 for a property you can’t stay in, I would avoid this place! Good news is the place I ended up staying in had an amazing host and the most spectacular view!
- Gina (9/5): Very sarisfied, clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I would definitely stay there agai - Everything that we need has been provided. Very convenient location. None.

- Louise (9/5): Great getaway. Location good. Would easily go back. - Clean , comfortable. Quiet area. Close to the beach and shops. Fenced off so your fur babies are safe. No grass area for your fur babies.
- Helen (9/5): Lovely house, excellent location - Well presented, very clean and comfortable to stay in. I would happily stay here again in the future. Nothing
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (9/5): Superb - Loved the semi stocked kitchen (ie basics & pantry items), and that there was dog shampoo & towels etc. Recliner chairs were great, but difficult to use.
- Sallie (9/5): Highly recommend. Great location and lovely home. - Excellent location, well equipped property. A little bit of grass for dogs toileting would’ve been handy but understand the extra upkeep that entails.
- Morgan (9/5): Had a great weekend. House was located in a great place to visit foreshore area and surrounds. -
- Margaret (9/5): Great place to stay that worked well for our family. Town and beach walking distance. - Great location, The layout of the sleeping arrangements worked really well for the family. Open plan kitchen, dining and family area great.
- Pamela (8/5): Very good - Property was good, more in a suburban street so a fair walk into town but could go along the beachfront, so very pretty.
The property was very well equipped. Arriving in the dark was a little tricky to find the correct property, as where the number of property on the letterbox could not be seen, and a dark walk up the driveway, could do with a sensor light . Communication was a bit weird as each time I sent a message or query it was to a different person, so never really got any conclusions to my queries.
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Location was fantastic.large rooms .quiet area
- Stephanie (9/5): A home away from home. - The home is bigger than we expected. Love that the kids bedrooms were right at the back with own bathroom so couldn’t hear the adults up late. It has all the kitchen items your require (just missing a coffee machine :)) and lots of lovely blankets to keep warm in the chiller nights.
Everything is safe and secure. Host was very accomodating of our request for porta cot (one less thing to bring)
Scooting distance to town (our little ones probably wouldn’t just walk it) Lovely neighbours, just only good things to say! Nothing we didn’t like just had to move some knicks knacks off display as we stayed with smaller
children.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Len (10/5): Exceptional - I think over all it was a great stay, house was excellent, for a great holliday.
- Leanne (7/5): Good -
