- Mccarrick (8/5): Highly recommend, great location, easily found, great value - Location was perfect and very easily found
Collection of keys is only minutes away and apartment was small clean and well maintained. Tea coffee was available on arrival and apartment felt secure with front door lock, courtyard which is gated before main street access. Only downside would be the noise if that would bother someone in the morning, bin trucks bottle collection etc, but to be honest staying pretty much on top of The Temple Bar it should be expected that It will be a bit loud. Fantastic location and great price for a 2 bed apt, highly recommend

- Nancy (8/5): Great location, right in the heart of Temple Bar. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days stay in D - Great location, comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days stay in Dublin.
- Uxue (10/5): -
- Conor (8/5): Thanks Navin! - Great location, close to everything you need. Also safe with locked gate. The noise but obviously expected that being right beside Temple Bar so can't complain.

- Olga (10/5): Excellent location, apartment had all amenities required. - Brilliantly located within the heart of Temple Bar. Very loud late at night and early in the morning as the trucks restock the pubs but this is something to be accepted if you want to be close to the action!

- Michael (7/5): keys collection not practicle - location we had to walk to an alternative location to collect keys. We parked in brown Thomas car park and it took us 25 minutes walking to walk to key collection point and back to apartment with luggage, not something i would do again, the only lucky thing is it wasnt raining. Total disaster if it was raining. This is not for me
- Rachel (9/5): Great location if you want to be right close to all the bars - Location was fab for us!
Key collection was easy. Spacious and warm property The re-stock of the bars below from super early in the morning was very loud but that’s purely just because of the location.
Just to prewarn anyone that doesnt like being woken up early !
Mirrors…the only mirror was in the bathroom
Check out is 10am, a little too early

- Anna (9/5): -
- Collette (7/5): - Location Dangerous electric plug in main bedroom,
- Rob Jenkins7 (8/5): - Amazing location. Really helpful host that let us check in a little bit early and check out a little bit later, which made a huge difference to us. Temple Bar is obviously expensive and tourist central so can stay pretty busy, pretty late, but it's a great location.
- Tijsvl (8/5): - Great location in the middle of Dublin's liveliness. Felt secure with an extra gate. Noisy when using water.
- david (1/5): Terrible - Only thing this place had going for it was the location Everything. Place really hot, nor air con. Smaller 2nd room was almost too hot to sleep in. Dirty linen in washer, no plug in sink to wash up a few items. No TV I think that is a must in any property. No clean bath towels. Just small ones. Noisy all through night as delivery and cleaners go 24/7. Loved Dublin but this place was not nice to come home to. I think not cleaned properly, I think we left it cleaned then went in.
- chris (7/5): Good - Location
Bed was comfy Place Was alittle unfinished and shabby. Water pump very noisy.
- Sues (5/5): Never again - Great position. Right in the heart of the Temple Bar district. The water pump was very loud. The bed linen didn't look clean and smelled musty. Considering the location, the outside noise was pretty low until the delivery trucks arrived in the early hours of the morning. Towels aren't included so if there are towels there, they are threadbare. There were heaps but they were all wet.
Had to walk about 10 mins to pick up the keys. This would be ok if it wasn't pouring with rain and not easy to find.
Shower is over the bath and the shower head kept sliding down. The bath is very deep and difficult for us oldies to get in and out of.
- Chloe (7/5): Lovely little apartment, perfect for a quick trip. Such a good location, just slightly noisy area. - Amazing location! and lovely little apartment. Very noisy but obviously due to where it is located, still managed a good enough night sleep!
- John (10/5): Nice way to spend a Sunday night. - Location. Spacious. Quieter than you'd think. We were in town for a show at the National Stadium which on a dry evening is a pleasant walk less than 30 minutes or alternatively a taxi for €12. Great entertaining view of Temple Bar. Only nitpicking, squeaky bathroom door. Little oil would sort. Shower head broken so it didn't stay in place. No TV.
- Lena (9/5): Beliggenhet, beliggenhet, beliggenget - Fantastisk beliggenhet. Topp for 3 personer.
- Leslie (9/5): Comfortable and enjoyable for sure! - Nice, roomy, close to everything! A little loud outside with the night life but we only heard it in the living room - the bedroom was very quiet. We would have been with the party- goers when we were younger!’
- Shane (8/5): Nice apartment, could be nicer with some small changes - Location was very central in Temple bar, bit noisy in the mornings but fine. Apartment was very clean and warm. Fresh bed clothes also Getting the keys were a bit of a pain as it was across the river in another hostel, surely another solution can be sorted. Bed clothes were fresh but quite worn. Shower head is a disaster, have to hold it up to wash your hair and water goes all over the floor as there is no seal on the shower door.
- CHRISTOS (8/5): -
- Jenny-Sue (6/5): Location great but a bit disappointing in some areas. With a little bit of attention it’d be fabulous. - Location to Temple Bar and other places of interest was really good. Despite very close proximity to the Temple Bar, noise really wasn’t a problem. Owner very accomodating with alternate key drop off arrangement. Quality of the bathroom towels was very poor, very thin and small. Bedding was all creased like it had just come out of the dryer. We were disappointed there was no tv in the apartment. Bathroom had mould in the shower and shower screen didn’t appear to fit properly so water ended up all over the floor. Bath is also very high to climb over to access shower, especially for elderly.
- Amy (5/5): Good location - Location Very loud area at night…hard to get a good night’s sleep
- Melissa (8/5): Perfect location! - The location was excellent and in the heart of Temple Bar. If you are a lite sleeper, then choose a different local as the night life here is bustling. We enjoyed the charm of the neighborhood, the ability to walk everywhere from the apartment and the welcome treats when we arrived. We did not use the kitchen to cook, but it was stocked well.
The shower was hot and had great pressure! We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend! Picking up the keys was not an issue; however, the location of the keys was. It was a good 7 minute walk from the property to the key pick up area. I am glad we mapped it prior to picking up the keys, as you have to cross the Ha'penny Bridge (which has steps on both sides) and if it is raining, crowded and you are dragging a suitcase along, it can be in troublesome. One of us stayed with the bags while the other retrieved the keys.
The shower glass does not have a lip so water did splash onto the floor. We kept a towel down to avoid slipping when exiting the shower.
- Nichole (8/5): - Location was convenient and easy to walk to almost anything. Very busy area without parking. Shower leaked water significantly. Also could’ve used an additional fan or two to help keep temperature comfortable inside apartment. Small things. We really enjoyed our stay.
- Kathryn (10/5): It was awesome - so much fun! - If you want to be in the heart of the action with a secure, clean and well appointed place to stay, Navin’s place is the place to be! The beds were comfy, full kitchen for your convenience and all the best bars and restaurants just outside your door. Very recommended!
- Martina (9/5): Lovely part of Dublin within walking distance of city centre. - Lovely well equipped and clean apartment. Spacious rooms and felt safe. Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Location. In the heart of Temple Bar. Very noisy until the early hours. Great if you like a lively nightlife.
- Kathryn (8/5): Excellent, central location and ideal for our purpose. Facilities were fine and everything there. - excellent location. We flew with hand luggage and so did not have anything with us. The staples were there for us to use. Really convenient. Excellent location. Felt really secure. Easy to get keys from reception across the river. 5-6 minutes walk away. Not the fault of the property but location was very lively and so noisy. It was warm and with windows open difficult to sleep.
Irritating when the bins were emptied at 4AM and delivery vans arrived and drains were cleaned at 5AM.
REALLY not the fault of the property and it would not put me off from staying there again. It was a lively but safe location and suited our needs.
- Tom (8/5): Enjoyed it.would stay again - Location. Space. Very hot.
- Kerr (6/5): Great location just disappointed in the state of the apartment. Expected more from the score on Booking .com - tried to - Location and number of rooms Curtains falling down and hard to close. Blind falling apart. Fan in bathroom very dirty and unhygienic. One mug in the property .

- Milton (5/5): Great location but too many negatives to consider again - The location was brilliant. Right in the centre of the Temple Bar district, literally 20m from the Temple Bar pub, and so close to everything in central Dublin. Trams are about a 5 - 10 min walk to get to the Guinness brewery and Jamieson’s Distillery (both on the Red Line) !! Key pick up is at a hostel across the river. Possibly a 10 min walk from the apartment but problematic considering parking needs to be in prepaid parking buildings 10 - 15 min in the other direction. No air-conditioning (our fault fort verifying this prior to booking). The instructions to find the apartment were not correct, misnaming the two businesses to use as a guide which caused confusion. The apartment is sparsely furnished but was adequate for our needs. The street outside is loud at night, especially with the windows open (it was around 26C and no AC) but great to sit in the window ledge and watch the crowds below. There is one small portable fan available (our daughter snagged that for her small bedroom) so it was hot inside. The oddest, and most annoying thing, was that the ‘welcome message’ advised to “leave the clothes in the washing machine unless we wanted to use it”. When we arrived (at the 2pm check-in time), there was a load in the washing machine and it was running with more than 5 hours remaining !! We ‘defied the instructions’ and opened it anyway :-) and it was full of towels and sheets etc (which explained why there were not many towels available, and the ones that were dry in the closet were barely hand towels !!). We enjoyed our time in Dublin, but would not stay at this location again.
- Eklund (2/5): Loud neighborhood/mediocre apartment - Nothing, really. Believe the reviews...this property is in a VERY loud location/neighborhood and sleep is almost impossible, even with earplugs. Bars are open until around 3:00 am and music and general street noise goes in until this time. Once the bars close, street sweeping trucks clank about and then garbage trucks pick up all of the recycling---with resultant noises of breaking glass etc. And then, there's the seagulls that swoop in and are the loudest birds I've ever heard. The apartment runs warm/stuffy so even with the one fan, you have to keep windows open thus exacerbating the noisy situation. I live in a big city and am used to noise but this noise
is off the charts.
The key collection (and drop off) situation is also a negative. I wasn't aware of this until I'd reached out for check in instructions a few days before planned visit. Although it's only a 5-8 minute walk, when coming to/from airport with luggage, this is a hassle, especially when factoring in a taxi ride etc. and needing two stops---also a pain when you have an early flight and being out on the streets isn't great super early. Was lucky with weather but this would be awful if raining.
The apartment could use a really good clean. Towels and bedding adequate at best. Mattress on twin bed is more like a piece of foam than a mattress....maybe okay for a child but not for an adult.
Don't stay here if you have any mobility issues as you won't be able to use tub/shower. To get in, you have to awkwardly step up/maneuver upwards into tub and then step down/maneuver downwards, out of tub---tricky and slippery. Matt in shower could use a clean---the mold isn't appealing. Hard to get shower head to stay up and water temp hard to gauge.
Washing machine full of items and we were asked to leave in machine (unless we needed to use the machine). This is off-putting.
The photographs make this apartment seem like a more polished/professional unit than it is.
- Mazelis (8/5): Perfect! - Great location, comfortable beds We went during a heat wave and could have used another fan (one to bring into each bedroom)
- O (9/5): Superb -
- Valery (5/5): Passable - Central location Difficult to get keys, internet did not work, shower was half broken, the street extremely noisy, not sufficient kitchen utensils, boiler very noisy
- Maura (4/5): Not what I expected - Central Dublin and in the middle of the loud, touristy Temple Bar neighborhood, if you like that. Unfortunately, I have to agree with all of the negative reviews (many were posted after I made the booking) about the noise at night, the tiny threadbare towels, the washing machine being full of laundry on arrival (and unavailable for our use), and the last minute instructions about getting the keys at a hostel on the other side of the river. Also, there were damp towels hanging on coat hangers in the bedroom closet (!?!), absolutely no safety or other instructions in the flat and no indication that this was a licensed short term rental. No number on the flat door and the only way to open the metal gate at the bottom of the stairs is by a hidden button. It's not enough to send all your instructions at the last minute and expect everyone to only see them on their phones. It seems like a flat that only recently has been rented out for guests without figuring out how to make it more comfortable or user-friendly. Also don't list a washing machine as an asset when you are going to forbid guests to touch it! If all you care about is partying in Temple Bar, then it's probably fine. Otherwise, avoid.
- Lisa (8/5): Clean apartment with great location, keys are off site - Great location above all the action in Temple Bar neighborhood! Shower head wouldn’t stay on, having to get a key from a different location prior to check in - didn’t mind this, but it wasn’t clearly written prior to making reservation and because of this I probably would have chosen something easier coming off an overnight flight and needing to park car etc.
- Sarah (8/5): Great location. - Location. Spacious rooms. Lack of mirrors near plug sockets and mirrors in general. Made getting ready to go out as 2 females a bit of a chore.
- Carolyn (9/5): A convenient, nice place to stay if you don't mind the busy-ness of the Temple Bar street. - This apartment is a first floor walk-up. It has 1 good size bedroom and one small one. The shower had good hot water. The WIFI worked great. The apartment is near everything. The small refrigerator worked fine as did the stove and the toaster so breakfast was doable in the apartment. A nice fan was available for air circulation. I felt safe the whole time. This apartment is in the loudest, busiest, most central area of Dublin. If you've ever been to Bourbon Street in New Orleans, that is comparable. And FYI, the key pick-up is a good 7 minute walk from the apartment, that said, the key pick up once there was efficient and easy.
- Kara (5/5): Passable -
- Eliot (7/5): Great city, Temple bar has a great vibe- with a bit if care and attention, the apartment could be fabulous. - If you want to stay in the heart of Temple Bar, then it’s great. You do need to be aware however of the noise levels of partygoers until around 3am and then the domestic activity starting around 6am. Not for those with limited mobility - firstly the key collection/drop off is a good 20 minute walk away. Access to the apartment is through a street gate and then an outside flight of stairs. No TV/ very limited stock of cooking utensils/ and although it is advertised as having a washing machine- it was full of washing and we were asked not to use it. Beware of fluctuating temperatures with the shower. Clean bedding and towels but not the best standard. Overall the cleanliness of the apartment could be greatly improved.
- Caroline (4/5): Overpriced and disappointing - Towels- only 1 thin, cheap and small towel per person and a floor towel/bath mat
Basic toiletries in bathroom- see picture
One mirror in whole apartment, found in dimly lit bathroom
No milk or tea/ coffee making supplies
One thin pillow per person
No headboard on double bed
5 empty oil diffusers!
2 dusty fake plants
No main light in bedroom, just 2 very dim wall lights above bed
No tv
3 picture frames with no picture, left in the plastic packaging still….
Washing machine is advertised, but not available to use -washing left in washing machine with instructions by owner to not remove.
No number on the door, difficult to be sure that you are trying to enter the correct apartment
Broken planter - this is how I came to know the front door!
Kitchen- not sure what you would cook, maybe a pot noodle? I fry pan and an odd assortment of crockery and utensils. There is a toaster and a microwave so beans on toast will be an option.
New picture frames in small room empty with cellophane still on, no pictures yet.
Broken curtain wire hanging down in lounge
Curtain hanging off wire in double bedroom
- Ruby (10/5): Lovely comfortable apartment right in the cente - Everything we needed and the owner went out of his way to get me a fan which I appreciated
Great location Nothing
- Rafaella (10/5): perfect! I wanted to stay longer - everything! the location is more than perfect, the flat is beautiful, new and comfortable a bit noisy because of the pub next door but it wasn't a problem for us
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (6/5): Place for people who like expensive drinking and the typical tourist rip offs. - If you want to go drinking in the pubs nearby every day for € 7,5 per pint it is ok. Noisiness of Location: you hear people till 4.00am every day from the pubs and at 7.00am you hear the trucks uploading the empty beer barrels.
Another issue is the water pump in the appartment: if you turn on the water in the bathroom, you think a train rushes through the corridor.
Check in and check out timings: 14.00 check in 10.00 check out. no flexibility of early check in or late check out provided just a harsh instruction mail what is expected from you to do.
A place in the middle of tourist rip offs: expensive pints, overpriced food, foreign stuff and stereotypes of Ireland.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Brue (9/5): Superb -
- Kelsey (10/5): Will look to stay here every time I am in Dublin, this has been the best place I have found in years - 24/7 service, super easy and quick. Unbelievable location, cosy apartment! Nothing!
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (9/5): Superb - Perfect location No iron or hair dryer
- Alannah (10/5): Exceptional -
