• patricia (9/5): We had a fantastic week. Used the bus to visit different beaches. - Near a nice beach, shop across road very handy & open late, right near bus stop, 2 nice restaurants in a few minutes walk Noisy bar across road some evenings. The paving walking to the beach & restaurants is dangerous at night with big holes & non existent in places so you have to walk on the road sometimes. There is a torch provided in the house though. Neither of these things would stop us returning to the house though, it is fantastic.
• rachael (10/5): Amazing stay at a reasonable price on the beautiful west coast - The property is really well located and has everything you need. It is bigger than it looks on the pictures and has everything you need for your stay. Very clean and lovely big bedrooms, air con is also great throughout. There is a washer/dryer, which is great too. The host was great and we were greeted on check-in. The beach is 5 mins walk and so beautiful. We sat on the porch most evenings, watching the world go by. The neighbours were really friendly, and there is a small supermarket across the road, which is really handy. I would recommend staying here! Nithing
• Rafał (10/5): Ottie 10/10 - Ottie is a hidden gem. I did not expect as much for such a resonable price. Our hostess was very friendly and provided all information we need. House is exactly like on updated pictures and it has everything you may need while your stay. House was very clean and has a lot of space also it was in very good condition. Guest has access to backyard where laundryroom is located so you can even wash and dry your clothes. It is located very close to bus stop and not far away from Holetown and Speightstown which are more commercial towns with lots of bars and restaurants. Also beach is like 5 minutes away witch bars and sunbeds. I am very picky if it comes to choose a place for stay during holidays but Ottie checked all the boxes. The one and only small inconvinience is a lack of side walk to Holetown direction, but once you pass like 100-200 meters, there will be side walk all the way to Bridgetown (we went there on foot because we love walking)
• Neil (9/5): Great location, lovely house and would definitely stay again. - The location was great. Close to main road and buses to towns along the West Coast. Walkable to beaches. Spacious and very clean throughout. Great amenities- eg washing machine, air-con, coffee machine. Comfortable beds and chairs We liked everything. Being picky, the additions of a safe deposit and a makeover of the back yard would be the only changes we would make.
• June (6/5): Lovely but noisy. - Ottie is a lovely well appointed house. Very clean, well equipped, air conditioned and spacious. The constant road noise from the main road and the pub across the road. It was totally my fault to under estimate the position of Ottie in relation to the main road. The parking was also an issue, as it was quite difficult to pull out onto the main road.
• Crooks (10/5): - Everything was perfect 👌 place very clean well kept. Recommend a nice place for a families moment .Will be back for sure, and the property manager 10 out of 10 good at her job keep it up. Just the WiFi was in and out, but probably the manager was working on it.
• Donna (7/5): Great location, comfy bed, well equipped villa and the aircon is a life saver - The location is brilliant for the beach and the buses. There is no safe in the property for valuables, the garden is awful especially out the back of the property. The property is rough around the edges and still needs improvements but it is value for money paid. The owners have spent a lot of money on the renovations made but there is still a lot to be done.
• Leah (10/5): Exceptional! - This may have been one of the best private home rentals I've ever experienced. The hosts thought of absolutely everything, from Q-tips and toothpaste to basic food essentials. I was genuinely astonished by the level of care and attention to detail. It truly felt like a home away from home. I should mention I had no issues locating the home using the directions provided on the app. The home is located on a busy main road, and accessing the parking spot requires reversing in, which can be challenging—especially with the fast-moving traffic. It’s definitely something to be cautious about.
• Patricia (10/5): Amazing experience - Honestly had one of my best experiences while using bookings. From the communication to host assistance throughout our stay was incredible. The property is spacious, well maintained, super clean with well equipped kitchen and laundry room facilities. One of the best properties I have stayed so far. Need to mention that the location was superb as it was 2 minutes walk from this amazing beach, close by we had amazing restaurants to choose from including Lone Star where they serve the most amazing food. Worth a try..I must say that the neighbourhood was very friendly and inviting, they all made sure we were well taken care off throughout the duration of our stay. Last but not least Akeema me and my husband can’t thank you enough for your assistance, you definitely made a huge difference on our first experience in Barbados by accommodating us , showing us around the locals , giving us directions and even assisting us on our wedding day. Looking forward to coming back next year certainly and most definitely would be in contact. Nothing really.

• Debra (10/5): Perfect comfortable homey house, we loved it! - It was newly remodeled, nice tv with Netflix option, good ac in bedrooms, fan in living room. Louvers in doors for ventilation, grocery/bar across the street, could be loud on Sat nights. Great kitchen and bathroom. Rain-head shower. Noodles for the beach and beach towels. Washer and dryer! Vanities to put on your makeup in both bedrooms. Excellent wifi! Beautiful sunsets from back door!Super safe. Parking spot in driveway for 1 car. We already booked again for next year, because we loved it. 3 blocks to our favorite beach Alleynes bay! Rent chairs from Freddie! Eat at Jumas on the beach great food! Could have had some firmer pillows, small complaint. but beds ok, one queen in master twins in second, one that had a memory foam mattress that was really nice!
• Wendy (10/5): Friendly vibe of locals, safe at night, easy transport. - Just like the photos, roomy and well equipped. Air con, sat tv, washing machine etc. located in great part of the island. Bus stop right outside.
• Susan (10/5): Love Ottie, 100% recommend - Perfect home from home, Ottie was exceptionally well equipped with kitchenware, basic kitchen supplies like oil etc, towels, beach towels, bedding and some toiletries. Great washing machine and dryer (very handy subject to downpours 😂). Tastefully decorated, clean, AC in bedrooms, lovely shower room. What more could you ask for? We loved the location - nearest beach is a five minute walk along to Jumas (nice beach bar, food average) and Lone Star (fancy and expensive!) or there’s Thunder Bay about a 20 minute walk in the other direction (cheaper sunbeds, food and a more relaxed vibe). Sitting out front of the property, we were always waved at and the locals were all very friendly and there were often monkeys running around too! (Note the front garden is right on the main road but the upside of this is that you can hail a bus/taxi to/from the front door!) There’s a convenience store across the road (just the basics) or Holetown is half an hour walk away (bus journey time varies depending on traffic) where there’s a big supermarket and a variety of shops, bank, restaurants etc. The convenience store also doubles up as a kind of local bar - you can buy beers and sit outside watching sport on their huge tv and having a chat with the locals - we really enjoyed that! Finally - thank you to Akeema the lovely agent there to meet and greet us at the beginning and end of the holiday - she is a lovely lady and exceptionally helpful! If the back garden were to be landscaped, that would be a wonderful addition to the property but all in good time I’m sure.
• Tanya (10/5): Ottie is a great place to stay. The location is perfect and the house is Beautiful! - I truly had an amazing experience at Ottie. The house was super clean and I was provided with all of the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom amenities for the house in addition to laundry detergent for the washer and dryer sheets for dryer! Akeema was a great house manager. She has a very warm and welcoming personality and she is very accommodating. I would highly recommend Ottie for your stay in Barbados!

• Pavuluri (8/5): Very good - Newly renovated 5 minutes from beach. Wifi is great. No fans in the house. We came to watch the world cup. To watch the other matches TV doesn’t have access to the Cricket channels
