• наталья (7/5): not a bad experience - I loved the location; it's close to all the sights. The vibe of an old house, the narrow staircase, the mirrors—it's beautiful! The website wasn't entirely clear which apartment you were booking. It was a surprise to find the room divided into two rooms by a hallway. To use the bathroom, you had to leave your room, cross the shared hallway, and enter the bathroom. Only on the day of our trip were we informed that the room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator—physical exercise is a good thing. But maybe someone will need this information.
• Demi (1/5): Verblijf totaal niet zoals verwacht - Niks Wij hebben een verblijf geboekt bij “Our Bird’s Nest in the Heart of Antwerp”. In de nacht van aankomst kwamen wij terug van een concert. Daarbij hebben wij kort wat te veel geluid gemaakt, maar dit heeft maximaal vijf minuten geduurd. Vrijwel direct daarna werd er zeer agressief op onze deur geklopt met de eis dat wij onmiddellijk moesten vertrekken. Dit gebeurde om 05:00 uur ’s nachts. Wij zijn twee jonge vrouwen en voelden ons hierdoor enorm onveilig. Midden in de nacht op straat gezet worden is absoluut onacceptabel en onverantwoord. Wij hebben geprobeerd onze excuses aan te bieden en respectvol het gesprek aan te gaan, maar daar werd niet normaal op gereageerd. In plaats daarvan werd direct gedreigd met de politie zodra wij probeerden iets uit te leggen. Er wordt nu tegen ons gezegd dat WIJ (??) Agressief waren. Terwijl wij meteen sorry zeiden en echt 0,0 agressie vertoonden. Dit kan je desnoods terug zien op de camerabeelden. Wij begrijpen dat geluidsoverlast vervelend kan zijn en bieden daar ook onze excuses voor aan (net als we toen meerdere malen deden). Maar de manier waarop dit is aangepakt vinden wij totaal disproportioneel, intimiderend en niet passend bij een professionele verhuurder of host. Daarom verzoeken wij om een volledige terugbetaling van ons verblijf. Wij hopen dit op een normale en nette manier samen op te lossen. Mocht dat niet mogelijk blijken, dan zullen wij verdere stappen moeten overwegen. Wij zien uw reactie graag spoedig tegemoet.
• Annalisa Donatella (7/5): Ottimo appartamento - Il letto era molto comodo, la stanza calda visto il freddo che faceva fuori e ho dormito bene. La macchinetta fa un buon caffè, per gli italiani vi consiglio di inserire due capsule e fare due caffè corti nella stessa tazzina. Il bagno ha una buona illuminazione, soprattutto per il make-up. Personalmente ho portato un piccolo specchio perché sarebbe stato scomodo usare quello del bagno; ho apprezzato la presenza di una sedia in bagno. Effettuano la pulizia tutti i giorni, la ragazza era molto gentile! La posizione è veramente ottima, ho visitato tutta Anversa comodamente a piedi, vicino ci sono tanti punti chiave tra cui il Carrefour per la spesa, vari monumenti e locali in cui mangiare. Lo staff era molto gentile, avevo dimenticato uno zaino dopo il checkout e hanno prontamente risposto alla telefonata per estendere la durata del codice. Aggiungerei un piccolo mobile in bagno per appoggiare i sanitari, oltre ad una crema in quanto il sapone seccava molto la pelle. Serve portarsi dietro una bottiglia d'acqua per usare la macchina del caffè. Sarebbe stato utile aggiungere delle ciabattine nei sanitari essendo il bagno in un'altra stanza divisa dal corridoio

• Luna (9/5): Uitstekend! - De locatie is perfect, met de metro vanaf het station is het heel goed te bereiken (2 haltes). Je komt aan op het grote marktplein en vanaf daar is het 1 minuut lopen. Naast alle winkelstraten, leuke kroegjes en restaurantjes. Uitstekend! Zeker een plek om terug te keren. Wij sliepen op de “zolder”, onze badkamer stond los van onze slaapkamer, dit was verder geen probleem, wel vonden wij beide kamers bij binnenkomst wat muf ruiken en weinig ventilatie in de slaapkamer (het wordt er snel warm en ruikt een beetje muffig)

• f.a. (1/5): Meest verschrikkelijke service ooit - Locatie was centraal gelegen in Antwerpen Het personeel. De kamer was niet schoongemaakt en toen we hier vragen over stelde werd er door mevrouw/meneer Lukas van de receptie gelogen dat dit kwam omdat wij housekeeping geen toestemming hadden gegeven. Bij de vraag of we alleen schone handdoeken konden krijgen werden wij per direct op straat gezet met als dreigement dat dat code van de kamer zou worden gewijzigd. Er is ons toen beloofd dat we van de 2 nachten 1 nacht terug zouden krijgen, dit is na meerdere mails en telefonisch contact tot met de eigenaar nooit het geval geweest

• Corine (7/5): - Bedden waren goed 7 trappen omhoog. Als er brand uit breekt kan je niet weg. Raampjes zijn te klein om doorheen te gaan. De kamer was erg was.

• Jolande (6/5): - Midden in het centrum en toch een hele stille kamer. Dat er geen receptie was vonden we een beetje onpersoonlijk, en we vonden het niet fijn dat er geen nooduitgang was in het gebouw.
• Peggy (9/5): Zeer aangenaam verblijf - Locatie is super! Bedden zijn comfortabel en we hebben geen hinder gehad van andere gasten. Ruime douche aanwezig. We hadden een vraag over de werking vd TV en deze werd via Whatsapp binnen de 5 minuten beantwoord. Dat was zeer fijn. Onze kamer was op de 3de verdieping. De trap er naartoe was vrij steil, smal, met korte treden. Voor ons was dit haalbaar maar dit zal niet voor iedereen zo zijn. Dus we raden aan om dit bij de kameromschrijving toch te vermelden.

• GIUSEPPE (9/5): Soggiorno piacevole in un appartamento centralissimo - Ottima posizione, vicino al centro e appartamento luminoso anche se mansardato Purtroppo le scale perchè ripide e strette,in due non si potreva salire.
• Steef (8/5): Top verblijf voor een nachtje - Uitstraling top, fijne locatie en prijs kwaliteit was top! Het is inderdaad flink wat trappen omhoog. Had me hierover ingelezen dus wist ervan. Voor 1 nacht prima voor meerdere nachten kan het een ding zijn.

• Marco (4/5): Kamer 6 is geen succes. - De locatie is perfect De kamer voelde als een cel met te weinig daglicht, weinig koeling. De douche op de gang is niet handig en na lang wachten was de douche op temperatuur voor nog geen 10 minuten. Drie handdoeken voor drie dagen voor twee personen is gewoon te weinig. Waarschijnlijk zijn de andere kamers beter, maar 6 is echt een no go.

• Kenzo (1/5): Never coming back - The location was easy. Upon booking, you get "spammed" with long automatic messages full of guidelines, information, rules,... It's hard to find the information you need, like "the code to enter the building". The building has no sound isolation. We could hear guests talking in other rooms through the walls. You can hear every creak of the wooden floors and stairs. The door of your room has a lot of empty space on the top, hence no sound blocking. Beds are horrible. We both slept badly. The mattresses are not comfortable at all. There were still hairs from previous guests on the walls and the shower door. There is some mold here and there on the walls. They offer parking service for 21,50 euro, but the parking is 15min walking distance away, which is not super easy carrying luggage. It's also a very old and narrow parking spot.

• Fay (1/5): NEVER AGAIN / NE JAMAIS PLUS - It was so horrible, that it's hard to decide where to start this review. We felt this hotel was: - Unsafe - Not clean - Noisy - Uncomfortable - Not as advertised - Overpriced Basically, this hotel has everything you don't want in a hotel. Yet, the worst part of it all was the staff. They are rude, unreliable, manipulative, don't do as agreed, have no respect nor self reflection and are super unhelpful. They will probably comment on this review by saying that this review isn't fair and that the guests are to blame. Please take into account that this is exactly the kind of manipulation and lack of self reflection that I am talking about. I strongly recommend to stay well clear of this place.

We were upgraded to a stunning apartment with beautiful interiors, spacious, clean, and so comfortable. The location was ideal, right in the center but still peaceful. The host was so helpful, responding within minutes to any questions. Loved the place and would highly recommend it! Will definitely come for future visits.

When they realized they were overbooked they called and asked to cancel. No help at all to find a new place and argued rudely before hanging up twice. Took a full day for a confirmation of the cancellation and refund.

• Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Dante is a very kind, punctual and helpful guy. The room is nice, welcoming, quiet and clean. The bathroom is spacious, modern and functional. The location is very convenient for visiting Antwerp and easily reaching all the neighborhoods on foot, especially the trendiest and most fashionable ones.

• Lilian (7/5): Location wise and cleanlyness wise it was grwat, but it isn’t a place for people who want to get a good rest at noght du - Clean, great location and as described Both nights there was a lot of noise coming through at 4:30. The first night due to the two girls in the other room who came home and spoke very loud. The second night we could hear people playing music and having sex really loud, from I believe one of the neighbouring houses (not from one of your rooms).
