Guest Reviews
- Rebekah (1/5): - Nothing here to like except being in Piccadilly area. Noisy, run-down and dirty bathroom and dishes. Was advertised as 1-bedroom but is studio leaving us in difficult sleeping arrangements. Avoiding this unless you are not planning on any privacy or cleanliness.
- serena (5/5): - La posizione Lavandino in bagno microscopico, nessuna tenda, allarme antifumo che suonava a caso
- Matthew (7/5): Great for a one night stay - Fantastic location
Lift a blessing No kettle
No tea, coffee or milk
Noisey
Light streamed through windows all night
Round window needs to be able to be blocked as it faces a street light

- George (3/5): Dirty place, great location - The location is the redeeming feature for this property, right in the heart of Shaftesbury Avenue, you can’t get better than that. When I arrived, the smoke alarm was going off. Credit to the host, he was ready to get a contractor out to sort this but I ended up sorting this myself. There was no kettle in the property and despite notifying at 4pm on the Tuesday, I didn’t receive one until 11am on the Wednesday - don’t advertise it if it isn’t there.
What mortified me was the state of the mattress in the property. I had to sleep on the sofa bed for my stay which was incredibly uncomfortable as the mattress not only was covered in a variety of yellow stains, it was also blood marked. This is unacceptable and I will be looking for compensation due to 2 very uncomfortable nights sleep not being able to use the bed.
The entrance and hallway had young ‘chav’ looking kids sat on the staircase and hanging around at all hours, not sure how they’ve got in but definitely shouldn’t be there. I’m glad I am a bigger lad, if I was a smaller lady on my own, I could imagine this would quite intimidating!
I’m glad I paid 50% less than peak season, had I paid full price, I’d have been very very disappointed.
- Lewis (8/5): Great value stay in a central location - Unbeatable central location for theatres and bars. Property was as described, comfortable and clean, much better value than hotels of the same price if you don't mind self service. No pots or pans that I could find, making the kitchen somewhat redundant. The check-in instructions sent us to the fourth floor but the flat was on the second.
- CHRYSOULA (10/5): Απροβλημάτιστη - Ήσυχο καθαρό σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία

- Ainhoa (8/5): - ubicación Faltaba secador
- jenna (2/5): Mouse issue - Good location, nice apartment. The hairdryer was missing so had to purchase one. There appears to be a mouse problem as items have been eaten. Room appeared clean but a mouse was clearly in the room during the night and could hear rustling. Host was advised and said would get management to contact pest control. I have been left out of pocket which I would not expect after paying over £400 for 2 nights. I'm just glad I didnt see the mouse and evidence was spotted when packing to leave.
- Alexander (9/5): Awesome! - La ubicación espectacular y buenas vistas del centro londinense. Si tuviera que destacar algo negativo, un poco de limpieza, y una remodelación de algunas cosas en la casa que están desgastadas o rotas y el ruido de la calle
- Ann (6/5): Nice and clean . No sure if I would book again as noise from outside was horrendous. - It was nice and clean. Fridge didn’t work. Also 2 windows were fixed open with a secondary panel of think glass over them. The noise from outside was horrendous. Right beside traffic lights on an extremely busy road. Noise went right onto the early hours of the morning.
- Murray (4/5): It was OK - It was convenient. Didn’t. Realise it was in the heart of the nightlife district. It was very noisy and I could shut the window to block it out.
I was there for business and there was no iron. No coat hangers. Which was not explained when I booked. There was no concierge so I had to pay for storage for my bags.

- padraig (1/5): - Location We got instructions on how to get into the apartment but they had given us the wrong floor and when we eventually found which floor and got into the apartment we found the bathroom had NO toilet paper and the sink was not letting the water out as well as it should.
- Diane (9/5): -
- Paola (9/5): - Posizione centralissima
- Mel (10/5): -
- TERESA (4/5): Too noisy, imposible to sleep at night. Plus the bed was super uncomfortable. - location and full equipment. Bed, pillows, too much noise in the street and light coming through the window.
- Thomas (9/5): - Location excellent, Foyer and corridors a little grubby, but the room was clean.
Stayed for five nights. Pity the washing machine was broken. Found out later it wasnt on the inventory. You have to accept that as right on Shaftsbury Ave that it is a little noisy until 2am, but was exhausted each night so slept well.
- Karl (9/5): Excellent location in the middle of the theatre district - Location Sheets too small for pull out couch
- Stephen (9/5): Great room and location - Spacious room in very central London location
- Moatez (7/5): Good -
- Tom (5/5): Ok for a one night having had a good night - Good location and comfortable It was very noisy (outside) and the bathroom smelled of damp
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Tahsin (8/5): Very good -
- Cyndi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warwick (8/5): Very good - Amazing location, clean, comfortable and very spacious.
- Silvia (6/5): Central London - Nice location, helpful staff, spacious rooms.
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful apartment. Lovely and clean everything you need for a great stay ✨️
- Jolanta (4/5): Disappointing - Eas check in, washing machine, iron, quite fast WIFI, tube station near by, close to many theatres It says „tranquil retreat“, but it was neither tranquil nor, nor a retreat!
On the contrary!
24hours noisy. No sound-proof at all!
Old furniture, not well maintained (broken lamps, broken furniture in the kitchen)
Not completely clean.
Mattress old and too soft, pillows very hard (caused (caused strong tensions)
Water in shower not really hot, very slippery shower cabin, not light enough.
The window in the kitchen has no curtains and lights from the theatre advertisements are shining the whole night into the room. and so does the green light in the corridor and the clock of the oven….
No plugs near the bed or the table.
No towels in the kitchen.
Not even some tea or a bottle or a bottle of water provided
Slow elevator, disgusting smell in the staircase
I was promised to leave my luggage in the Aprt during the morning, but it was taken back the day before I left.
Also in the late evening, a message, that they are charging a (high) amount for every 1/2 hours; I would check out later than 10AM.
I was told, the area is safe, but it wasn’t.
After my late business appointment, I went for an ice (11pm, so not too late)
Many (African) men on the streets near the Aprt. I was insulted and harassed.
And - at 3am somebody knocked on my door. A prostitute! Who took the wrong door!
Yes, it’s London, but this apartment definitely does NOT deliver a good performance for the money.
Usually, after busy business days, I’m looking forward to “my” apartment in London,
From this one, I’ve stayed away as often as possible.
Wanted to try out this area one time, but I definitely won’t return. Not to this area and definitely not to this apartment (owner)
Shortly said: NOT recommendable at all!
- Marne (10/5): The location is excellent, in the center of everything. Been really handy for us especially that we have a toddler. The - The host is approachable and easy to contact None
- Marne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nekrasevicius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kay (1/5): Didn’t stay. Booked into another hotel - Location Didn’t actually stay in property!
Hadn’t been cleaned from previous occupants! No changes of bed linen. Dirty towels on pillows. Filthy entrance and stairs to appt!!!
- Bruna (8/5): Very good -
- Mian (4/5): Worst sleep I have ever had. Next door to nightclub. Non responsive management. - It was centrally based, very close to the underground. It is very close to two theatres and a night club which does not stop until 330am in the morning. The room is not very sound proof at all, so my two kids and I hardly slept with all the drunken people shouting till practically the morning.
The management of the property is non responsive to say the least. They didn’t set out beds for a third person which I clearly stated upon booking. Provided only enough bedding/duvet/sheets for two people, so I had to sleep under two thin blankets with my winter coat on top.
I booked two nights stay there, I texted the contact number provided to me for assistance, nobody responded and provided extra bedding for two nights.
One of the windows didn’t slide down. Again, no response from management. So I paid 300 pounds to sleep on a sofabed under my own coat, with the noise from the night club next door, for two nights.
- Isa (10/5): Super nice apartment with top location! - Läget Ingenting att klaga på
- Kuti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Riina (6/5): Pleasant - Communication was poor. They start to send whats ups but when I aswer, they we replying to booking.com own page. There were garbages on the bin. No info, how everything works there.
- Chahrazad (10/5): Beautiful property, very central, will definitely book again - Super Clean Spacious, staff very helpful
