W pokoju od samego wejscia bylo czuc nieprzyjemny zapach, okazalo się ze to materac lozka wraz z posciela. Reczniki rowniez nie pachnialy swiezo, podejrzewam ze byly bardzo stare. • Shauna (3/5): Disappointing accommodation - Good location. Nice sized apartment and good kitchen amenities Apartment not clean. Bathroom looked like no one had cleaned it before I checked in which made me concerned about what level of cleaning the rest of the room had. The towels also smelled like mildew and the apartment itself was very dark. I messaged the manager and she said she would talk to the cleaner but despite me messaging multiple times to ask what the cleaner said, they never replied to me again. Also, the day I checked in, I was sent a message saying I could check out late. I messaged in the morning on my check out day, saying I would check out late. No one replied until 15 minutes before the original time saying late check out wasn't available and I needed to leave. Very poor communication with staff when there is an issue and at no time did I see any staff in the building.
• Stephen (5/5): 302 - air con didnt work. Too hot for comfort. - All amenities were present. Hot water was present. Quiet in the night. Fridge worked. It seems like it has barely been maintained since opening. The aircon kept shutting off (every 30 min) due to the fact it was never cleaned. This made the temperature unbearable through the night and constantly woke us up. I'm writing this message after waking up 5 times the night before. The white walls were dirty from stains. The sheets, due to the humidity were smelly. I had to ask for new sheets. And purchased my own fabric freshener to deal with the smells. The smells subdued after two days. Black mold in the bathroom. I wouldn't use the kitchen. It was very over priced for the maintenance given. I imagine it was a lovely place 2 years ago.

• Safari (1/5): HORRENDOUS PLACE TO STAY. DO NOT GO HERE - The one bedroom apartment was big. The beds were soft. Everything else. Dirty grimy with hair everywhere, infested with mosquitoes, no utensils or cups in kitchen and electric stovetop didn’t work. Drains blocked and smelled. Wifi was terrible and location is very bad, no food around and almost an industrial area and right next to highway. Communication with owner was okay through WhatsApp HOWEVER at 8:30pm a random man came directly into the apartment through the elevator and demanded money. Spoke no English and had no identification just was getting angry we didn’t pay him immediately. We were all sleeping at the time so we’re very confused why a random man was IN OUR ROOM. Apparently he was a staff member there to collect money. I had no idea that was their way of payment and I think that it is VERY unprofessional to walk directly into our room late at night. He also didn’t have any change so I had to use all my small notes and it was lucky we had the right amount. So even though the owner was good at replying through WhatsApp she couldn’t tell us before hand that there would be a man coming to collect money? Not okay.

Evasion and unfulfilled promises: During my stay, I repeatedly requested the corresponding invoice, but both the receptionist and the hostel manager evaded my requests. The invoices promised were eventually provided but turned out to be simple reservation confirmations, which lacked any legal validity. 3. Refusal to refund unused days: At check-out on November 25, I was not refunded for the unused days (November 25 to 30). Instead, I was told the amount would be deducted from my next reservation. • Banksy (1/5): Awful ! - Host did not let me in as flight was delayed from UK. I reached out for 2 hours at midnight to get in the hotel but no answer despite using the hot line / Zalo and had to search another hotel at 2am. Still no response 24hrs later !

• Maria (7/5): Good - The price and the space Okay, so. First, the location is quite shady. The house is in a narrow alleyway that is easy to miss. You can't enter the house via the main door - you have to use a keypad to open the underground garage and enter from it. You get a set of keys some of which have no use at all but none of which opens the main door to the building. Second, The Smell. When we checked in, our apartment smelled as if something died in it. We spent 5 days there, constantly ventilating, and the smell went nowhere. We lived in a penthouse-ish apartment, i.e. the elevator opened directly into our kitchen. Which means, as soon as anybody in the house entered the elevator and pressed a button, we could hear the ding. All. Night. Long. To sum up: it's great value for money, but I suggest you think twice.
• Roman (7/5): Nice room, everything else can be improved - Room was fairly clean, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was great, it had shower and bathtub. You could adjust water pressure and temperature easily. There was also kitchen with fridge and stove, terrace and balcony which had nice view. AC worked well and TV was good. It was hard to find entrance and we had to enter through the garage our entire stay. Man who welcomed us spoke non English, and although he seemed polite, he demanded that we pay immediately upon arrival which is usually not practice. We didn't have cash so we had to go and find ATM which turned out to be slight problem since majority of ATM's declined our cards. We stayed there for 3 nights, no one ever came to clean or provide fresh water. Doors of the bathroom closet were broken and towels were smelly. Location was 6 km from center, and wi-fi speed and strength was not always on the point. I would recommend for short stay since airport is not far away, but I don't recommend booking for longer period of time.

Everything you need in the apartment. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes near by. Recommendable! Many insects in the apartments. Check-In could be easier.
• Dipali (9/5): Loved the place and host - I like the place a lot. It was clean and cozy. Host was very helpful in terms of everything. We did book for a balcony studio but check if that offers a view. You can book for the one with a view if you don't like to have wall in front of a balcony. Even with that I would like to say I really enjoyed stay. It was peaceful. The place is really nice. You will like everything if you don't want to stay in the middle of city and loves little peace. City centre is 20-30 mins drive away so you may need to book a cab or bike as per your convenience if you want to explore the city.

• Holly (2/5): Awful experience - The place is clean and has Netflix on the TV Firstly, it is not advertised on the listing that the apartment is self check in. The day of arrival I was on a bus with no data as I was just arriving in Vietnam. Therefore did not have access to the message explaining the self check in. The only reason I was able to get in was due to the help of a stranger. I assumed payment for the accommodation would be charged to the card that is registered on my booking.com account. This was not the case as on the second night we had a random man knocking on our door at 9pm, who spoke no English, demanding us to pay. I was told by the host that this man was security and it’s advertised that someone will be there 24/7. However, there was no one to be seen the night before when we arrived. After going back and forth with different options the host sent me a link to pay, which I was extremely weary of but had no other options. I have no idea why payment isn’t sorted before arrival, through booking.com. The whole ordeal was highly unprofessional and I would not stay again or anywhere that is ran by this host. BE AWARE.

• Rebecka (10/5): Beautiful stay near Tay Ho - Beautiful view of the lake and the city. Great WiFi and very good air con. Shower has great water pressure and there was a bath if you fancy it. Location is close to some good western restaurants (the Greek restaurant down the road is amazing) and although it's in the quieter area of Tay Ho, there's loads of bars and coffee shops if you walk a little further. Also the new Lotte mall is in walking distance. Modern and clean apartment! We would have liked a couple more pillows in the bedroom. There wasn't always hot water in the shower, but we didn't mind this so much as it was pretty hot and humid out during our stay. These are just small things - it was a wonderful stay!

Also gave me a heart attack when I found out that I somehow needed to confirm my stay by message on the day of checking in before I arrive otherwise my room would be booked out.

The water pressure in shower was perfect (probably the best we had in Vietnam so far). There are a lot of restaurants and cafes in the area, the Lotte mart is in 10 min walk distance. The owner provided detailed instructions on how to check in, so we had no problems whatsoever. If we had questions the owner would reply almost immediately which was very helpful. Can definitely recommend this place! There was just one mug in the kitchen, so we had to share one coffee during our breakfast. Would be nice if you could provide at least two.

It was a really great choice, with a little desk, big fridge, new microwave, kitchen area, and a big comfy bed. It was always wonderfully quiet inside. It’s just a short walk to get to some nice bars, restaurants and the West Lake. There is no room service included so you will need to clean up after yourself.

• David (10/5): Nice place... - The team was very professional. The care taker played an important part to making the stay comfortable. One of the cleanest place in Hanoi. There was a slight confusion on the room when one of the guests indicated it was theirs. The host helped to resolve this quickly. . I was on the 2nd floor while some of the pictures were from higher floor. Thinking back it's great to match the pictures with the rooms to avoid the confusion.
• Κυριακή (5/5): Misleading photos and bad communication with host/staff - The apartment was newly built. 1.There is no reception and the security guy (if you find him) doesn't speak English at all (and he is not so eager to help) 2.When we arrived we realized that the sheets were dirty, we informed the security and he assured us that they will be replaced the next day. However, the cleaning staff changed the sheets 3 days later when they came for the regular clean-up. 3. We have booked the 'studio with balcony' but the photos in Booking were misleading. The balcony was closed as you can see in the photos below. 4. There was an active building site right next to the apartment that started drilling early in the morning (8a.m.). The main road that is next to the apartments is under construction which causes many problems too. (Not taken into consideration for the rating, just mention it for people interested in booking this apartment)
• Paradox (3/5): Insane ambient noise and fake balcony - Comfy bed Being woken up by drills at 8am on a Sunday, no sound insulation, the balcony was so small I could not fit my feet on it. Directly next to an active building site which starts early and ends late.

• Hannah (10/5): Very clean apartment on outskirts of tay ho - - We stayed here 2 times. One of cleanest apartments in Hanoi & a great experiance. - great bathroom & comfy soft bed. - helpful owner & house keeping - all night security - washer & dryer downstairs - tv with netflix - connivence store around the corner Some issues i see in reviews i can help debunk based on our experience: - balcony comes unlocked as standard (which is a problem for many peoples travel insurance if left unlocked) but if you message owner they will come lock it, this happened to us. - we had problem with wifi but owner sent engineer out within few hours which was great. - washer & dryer not available at night, but if you message owner they will leave unlocked for use :) - this location is best if you have a scooter or to be aware that you are at least a 10+ / 15+ mins walk to the tay ho bar area and 30/40m drive to tourist centre . However if you have a longer stay or want to stay somewhere peaceful & clean out of the way it is great!

• Alexander (10/5): Perfect little apartment in a overly part of Hanoi - Beautiful little apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Hanoi. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even moved us for our last night when a neighbour was making a huge noise. Place was extremely clean too! Close to a quieter part of Hanoi where a lot of expats stay.
• Tegshee (10/5): Exceptional - Comfort like my sweet home. Staff man is knocking a lot.

• Jenika (6/5): Pleasant - Property clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. We originally booked a nicer apartment (Luck apartment 9) in a better location, however at the last minute we were asked to move to another apartment for some reason, which was further awake from the lake and amenities. Also no taxi driver knew how to get to this particular apartment because of roadworks. We were being charged the original amount at first until we showed the reduced price on booking.com.
