• Claire (9/5): Really excellent and we’ll definitely use again if we go to Ali Pali - Done to a really high spec, very stylish, fab location, lots of amenities, great outdoor space too, perfect for 3 friends. No tea bags in stock, sofa bed wasn’t amazingly comfortable but the bed really was. Pillow selection a real treat too. The skylights could do with blinds if anyone is sleeping in the lounge, or just bring an eye mask.

• Cathrine (8/5): The place was perfect for what we needed! - The property was the same as shown in the pictures and had all the essentials, including a cooker. The host was also very helpful and communicated throughout. The only downside was that one of the blinds in the bedroom was not working, meaning that light came through during the early mornings.
• Bastien (3/5): Extrêmement déçu de cet appartement et de sa propreté - Le logement est proche de Finsbury Park mais pa du métro Finsbury Park (20 minutes de marche). A mon arrivée dans le logement je ne me suis tout de suite pas senti à l'aise avec une saleté dans le logement, une impression qu'il n'était pas entretenu et mis en location uniquement pour faire beaucoup d'argent car c'est vraiment très cher pour ce qui est proposé. Liste des éléments qui n'allaient pas avec photos pour le démontrer: - saleté du sol et du mobilier - interrogation sur la propreté du linge mis à disposition - visibilité à l'intérieur du logement par les voisins car il y a des vitres au plafond !! - aucun entretien de la terrasse donc impossible d'en profiter - poignée de porte de la terrasse cassée - canapé lit sale donc impossible de dormir dessus - aucun meuble pour poser les produits dans la salle de bain - 20 min de marche pour se rendre au métro Finsbury Park Pour résumer, vraiment très déçu de ce logement où je n'y retournerais bien sûre jamais.

• Alexandra (10/5): Lovely and modern flat - The flat is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat whilst being extremelly close to the train line which grants quick and easy access to different parts of London. Chris was always available and an extremelly helpful and lovely host. I thank you very much for my marvelous stay in London. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others!

• Fiona (1/5): Bad - Nothing As I was unable to access the property due to non responsiveness of host ; see below See above ; we arrived at the agreed time ( in the evening) The lockbox failed to open. We tried to open it several times , even googling YouTube videos of how to open the specific model of lockbox . All to no avail. Multiple calls and text messages to the host failed to evoke any response. However the lockbox to the neighbouring property opened first time with the code we had been given; there were already guests in that property to whom we apologised profusely. Surely this in itself is far from reassuring? Two properties with the same access code? Eventually we gave up and went to dinner. It was only some 5 hours later ( at 1.30 am) that the host responded , and only after I had contacted booking.com to request a full refund. I had to resort to sleeping on my son’s sofa . Had I been completely alone in a strange city as a woman of nature years I would have been placed in a highly vulnerable situation.

• Sigrid (10/5): A wonderful quick city break offering quiet and rest in the bustling metropolitan. - We really enjoyed the Pillow Menu, having the opportunity to pick out a pillow to suit your needs while travelling is really a rare treat! Also the location next to the train station made commuting to the all the sights easy and fast.

• Chinye (5/5): Below par experience - Next to the Harringay train station, which is convenient for connections to central London and elsewhere. I’ve given this a 5 purely because of how quickly Chris responded to resolving a number of issues that came up. Unfortunately, there were just too many to rate this any higher. First off, the flat is literally behind the train tracks, and so you hear and feel the trains as they run through. The sound insulation was little to none, which made relaxing and sleeping difficult. Also, the flat’s located on the ground floor and facing both the main and connecting doors to other flats within the building. Every time someone slammed the main doors when coming in or going out, the front door to the flat would rattle along with the loud sounds. In terms of the area the flat is situated in, Harringay, I found it dreary and didn’t feel safe or at ease, even just walking from / to the station. The main issue was that the flat hadn’t been cleaned properly at all. At some point I stopped taking in my surroundings because the more I looked the more things I didn’t want to see. I flagged some urgent things to Chris who immediately took care of them. However, owners / property managers are responsible for thoroughly quality checking their tourist accommodation before each booking (or delegate to a competent person who can), and it’s not a guest’s job to do so. I found the bedroom uninviting in terms of decor and furnishing. The mattress was too soft, and sunk in when you lay on it. The surfaces of bedside cabinets, windowsills, bedposts, the plastic potted flowers were all covered in dust. The living room had what felt like a single sofa bed which was neither comfy to sit nor lie on. The open plan kitchenette was well kitted out but crockery, pots, and mugs needed washing before use. The dining area, was nothing more than a patch in the middle of the kitchenette area with a small square table and 4 wooden chairs around it. The whole apartment just had this air of disinterest, lack of TLC, and hands-on supervision. I found this entire experience uncomfortable.

• Nataliia (10/5): Exceptional - Very modern flat with all necessary equipment. Location is good, just 45 minutes to get to all central sights. Pleas, add a carpet near the bed in living room and some slides for guests.
