• David (10/5): Small but cozy apartment perfect to escape and do some home working - Bed is comfortable. Space is good enough. Good TV size. Good wifi. The kitchen stuff supplied was good enough. The shower felt nice. The bath sink is very spacious. Host was very attentive. They allowed me to extend the stay and the process was quick and clear. The apartment is very windy and there is a lot of sunlight when you open the windows which was really nice. At the same time they had window blinds that when closed they made the room dark. The building had a face recognition feature to enter and the room door used a numeric code system. This is nice because it meant we didn't need to worry about keys. It is also great that we as temporal residents were no exception for the face recognition feature unlike probably some other places. Just wanted to mention again that the wifi was fantastic. As someone who was there visiting his S.O. and was working from home I had 0 issues with the internet. We even watched a lot of movies and played some games when we were not out. The location is great because it's in the center and close to a lot of things such as bars, markets and restaurants. I would definitely come back because the price was adequate, the kitchen was nice and in general the apartment is very comfortable! I felt that the sheets were a bit dusty or something in the apartment was giving us allergies. Maybe the AC filter or the bed sheets? Also this is the second place I stay in floripa where they have something between the tv and the bed or the bed not being in front of the bed (in this case a door to separate between the living and the bedroom). What is up with that? At least for this one we could push the bed closer to the bathroom door so we could both watch the tv. They have a weird policy that if you check in after 20hs in your first day they charge you extra which I found extremely weird and something new to me in all my stays anywhere. Especially when the check in is just clicking a link and you enter with a code and face recognition. Especially weird when a lot of the flights tend to arrive late night for this city. The description here said it had view to the sea but (at least in our case in a floor 7) it was not the case. I mean you could see a BIT of the sea but it was 99% city buildings. I did not care about this but it may be relevant for some. The apartment also faces a school so on weekdays the area may be very noisy during the day. Again, this was not an issue for me. I work from home but I'm also used to this exact noises since I also live close to a school. BUT I mention in case it matters to someone here which i doubt since I'm sure most people would be out visiting places and going to the beach. The shower was clogged with construction stuff BUT they resolved the issue quickly so no complaints!
