- Phil (6/5): Typical corporate Air B n B experience in a walkable location, near Kensington Market - The location. This space is brand new and built out solely for Air B n B, - it once was a house and is now 4 air b n bs, Unit 0 to Unit 4. All appliances and furnishings are new and practically unused, plates, kettle, stove, towels, etc. Gorgeous high ceilings and the afternoon sun shines right into the living room area. Also, small thing, but to me a big one: shower pressure was excellent! Walkable to Kensington Market and loads of cafes, coffee shops, dinner places, bars. It seems like all corporate Air B n B business owners go to the same store for the same black and white plates and bowls, black and white mugs, 6 plastic plants, grey towels and exactly one piece of art for each room. The place is pretty and new, but totally soul-less and sterile. Also, the people experiencing homelessness in Toronto are a large population, including tents and sleeping bags and shopping carts full of belongings, all very nearby; and though I never felt any sense of danger, there are people sleeping on the sidewalk less than 20 steps from this place, so be aware of this.
- Chris (9/5): Perfect - This is an ideal apartment in the heart of downtown Toronto. The apartment is set up perfectly, and we were able to mix working and socializing, plus enjoy the restaurants and nightlife virtually at our doorstep. There is some inevitable street noise, given that the apartment is on Bathurst, a major traffic artery. However, the apartment is very well insulated, and the noise was only a small issue on Friday night.
