• Corinna (9/5): - Edward war sehr nett und hat uns Tipps gegeben. Wir haben Shuttleservice zum Flughafen genutzt, was super geklappt hat. Das Appartement ist klein, hat aber alles was man braucht für 1-2 Nächte und ist schön eingerichtet. Ideal für 1-2 Nächte vor dem Rückflug, oder auch Ankunft. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen donnern die Flieger ganz drüber. Auch der Straßenverkehr war nicht zu überhören. Wir hatten es erwartet und Nachts wars ok.

He welcomed us into the Inn and took my husband to help drop off our rental car. He even helped us grab pizza for a late dinner and took us back/forth to the airport for our early morning flights. Der Inhaber bietet einen Shuttle zum Flughafen an. Somit kann der Urlaub reibungslos starten oder enden. Weiterhin werden Autos vermietet, was super praktisch ist und die Vermietung lief problemlos.

Späte Anreise inklusive Shuttle (nicht im Preis enthalten) vom Flughafen war kein Problem. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen, zur Straße und zum Bahngleis war es sehr laut.

Wir haben von den Hosts eine super Empfehlung zum Essen und Shoppen bekommen und haben uns einen Fahrer dorthin genommen, da es zu Fuß zu weit weg war. Für lärmempfindliche Personen ist Schlafen etwas herausfordernd. Man hört den Straßen- und Flugverkehr trotz Ohrstöpsel sehr deutlich.

• Annett (10/5): Nettes kleiner Familienbetrieb - sehr zu empfehlen - Das kleine Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Flughafens. Der Inhaber holt seine Gäste persönlich dort ab. Das Zimmer war angenehm eingerichtet. Es gibt eine kleine Küche und eine für die Gäste nutzbare Terrasse. Die Eigentümerfamilie wohnt ebenfalls im gleichen Haus und alle sind sehr nett. Edward hat mich dann auch zu meiner Unterkunft am Meer gefahren und zur Rückreise wieder dort abgeholt.

They also rent good cars for a reasonable price (no hidden costs). They offer transfer to and from the airport at any time. The apparment is near the airport so it is really practical. On entend quelques avions bien sur puisque c’est proche de l’aeroport.

• Nicodellera86 (10/5): Una notte prima del volo - Edward é un ospite molto gentile, si è offerto di portarci personalmente all’aeroporto alle 5,30. Il suo alloggio era molto spazioso, pulito e comfortevole (chiaramente il rumore degli aerei non era indifferente). Ci ha anche consigliato dei posti dove mangiare nelle vicinanze. Per una sosta breve in vicinanza all’aeroporto é perfetto. Chiaramente la parte peggiore è quella in cui senti il forte rumore degli aerei che passano, ma essendo così vicino all’aeroporto (poco più di 2 km), non so quanto possa essere migliorata questa cosa.
• James (9/5): Made to feel right at home! - I initially found Edward's family inn simply by looking for places to stay close to the airport, as we had a morning flight at the end of our Costa Rican trip. But I couldn't have been happier with choosing this option. Edward and his family have created a cozy 3 unit accommodation that is definitely a labor of love, making you feel right at home. Although we only spent one night, he helped arrange our rental car for the week and was able to take us to the airport the morning of our departure. The unit, too, was spacious and comfy. Highly recommend if you need a place close to the airport! N/A

Parfait pour la veille d’un vol tôt. L’accueil exceptionnel du propriétaire Edward, extrêmement serviable. Il nous a accompagné jusqu’à l’agence de location de voiture pour nous offrir son transport à 10 USD pour revenir à l’hotel apres le depot de la voiture. De plis, Edward nous a fourni un transport pour l’aeroport le lendemain matin à 5:30 pour 10 USD, 4 personnes et bagages. Pas besoin de reserver un Uber! Super hôte Edward, bravo!! Le bruit des avions, mais il faut s’y attendre.

Wij verbleven hier tijdens onze eerste en laatste nacht van onze rondreis door Costa Rica. Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw en een keurig, schoon appartement. De taxiservice is ideaal van en naar de luchthaven.

It worked out perfectly for getting to the airport the next day for an early flight. He also gives you a ride for a very reasonable fee. Drive from his apartment to the airport front door took about 7 minutes. We liked everything.

Ook de locatie dicht bij de airport en goede transfer service, zelfs heel vroeg in de ochtend! Veel geluid van buiten, maar dat heb je overal in de stad. Oordoppen zijn wel aan te raden

Diese war sogar grösser und er gab uns die Wohnug ohne Aufpreis. Für die 10$ pro Person hat man ein feines und grosses Frühstück bekommen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Betten waren bequem! Unser Gepäck hat Edward wie abgemacht pünktlich am Flughafen gebracht. Sehr zuverlässig! Vielen Dank!

• Torben (8/5): Sehr gut geeignet für vor oder nach dem Flug - Super für die Übernachtung nach bzw vor dem Flug, weil 5 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Für 10$ pro Person haben wir von Edwards Frau gutes, sättigendes amerikanisches Frühstück mit frischem Obst bekommen. Entsprechend sehr lauter Fluglärm morgens und abends.

• Bo (9/5): - De algehele ervaring. Edward communiceerde heel erg goed toen ik was geland omdat ik ook een airport pick up bij hem had gereserveerd (rond 23.30 ‘s avonds). De slaapkamer was schoon, fijn, niet te duur en hij dacht over het algemeen goed met mij mee. -

• Katherina (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft in einer sehr freundlichen familiären Atmosphäre - Edward und seine Frau haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und wir hatten eine tolle Nacht in San José Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

• Allan (9/5): Very comfortable 2 bedroom, with kitchen worked very well for us. - Location was minutes from the airport. We were met and made sure we were happy with the apartment. Parked right in front of door to our room and gate was locked. This meant we were able to leave our packed suitcases in the car and just took what we needed for the night and next morning.
