Guest Reviews
- Chee (7/5): Good - Location, fast response from host ! Sofa, restroom need a thorough cleaning before next guest
- James (9/5): Superb - The apartment was neat. It was convenient located near the bus stop and the train stop. We were in the city for a business trip and the place is only 20 mins away from the airport on uber. Walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Also the owner allowed us to check in early which was super helpful. There was a faint lingering baby diaper smell in the bathroom. It wasn't horrible. It just lingered.
- Jun (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (7/5): This accommodation was comfortable and centrally located, we enjoyed our stay. - The accommodation was clean and comfortable, especially the beds, We were central to Little Italy, Chinatown and only 2 minutes to the Town Centre where there was plenty to see and do. There are bus and tram stations very close by and this allowed us to see the City easily.
The property has everything you need to ensure your stay is comfortable. The booking hosts were helpful with a late check out time and back storage until we where collected for the airport.
When repairs were required they fixed them immediately and this was no trouble. They also brought extra bedding when requested as there was three of us the first night, and only two on the second night. As this was booked through our admin team it was difficult when we arrived to ensure we had the details to gain access to the property, when we arrived in Canada our phones were not working initially and we had to rely on the transfer driver to allow us to use his phone for the venue to send us the details to gain access. We did ask for these before we left the Uk as i had a feeling this might happen, thankfully the transfer driver was very helpful and this helped us a lot, when residents are flying from another country i advise this information is given prior to them leaving their destination in case this happens again.
We arrived late and found it difficult to find a nearby shop to purchase amenities, but this was remedied easily the next day. Maybe some information in the property for guests as to where to find the closest shops ect might be useful.
One of the drawer fronts fell off but they came and fixed this quickly and repaired it straightaway.
We also had the previous tenants knock n=on the door when we had only been there 5 minutes asking for shoes they had left on the balcony, at this point, i didnt know there was a balcony and this did i admit scare me a little as they were asking to show me, i asked them to wait at the door whilst i looked and no shoes were found, they were polite and left, however initially this was a little scary, being there alone
There was an area out of the back to use as part of the accommodation which had large pins in the ground that kept sticking in my shoes, this could have been dangerous to children if they were playing in the area, i picked up at least 3 of them. I was also very aware that people were in the basement as the noise from them on the stairs and also the noise came through the vents in the rooms in the accommodation, I'm sure they could hear our conversations were heard too and this was not very private. The noise in the property late at night was also very significant people running up and down the stairs.
- Sam (8/5): Very good -
- Yuzhu (7/5): A cozy vintage apartment with helpful staff - It’s a cozy vintage little apartment. The location is great, great price and space, and the staff have been very helpful and responsive. Even when some things are missing they will have the items delivered upon request. One thing we didn’t love was that the apartment was too hot and the air was too dry, it’s a centralized heat system and it was set to 24-25 degrees so we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves. Upon request the staff helped to adjust the temperature a bit, which we really appreciate. The apartment also looked different and somewhat older than the pictures provided.
- Sandesh (1/5): Bad - Scammed me with cleaning charges
- Filly (9/5): Superb - Nice Price-Quality for a weekend gate-away
- Kern (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blythe (7/5): Good place to stay when sightseeing Ottawa. - Close to LRT, had everything we needed, concierge answered our call when we needed help with the heat. Bonus to have towels! Could hear other tenants in the building, sometimes smelled like smoke. Back door lock was broken. Had to call for internet password.
- Decimus (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean. Good location
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Romaya (9/5): Superb - The price was unmatched. Nice space with everything you would need for a few days.
Great communication with owner. Was able to secure the unit last minute in the middle of the night! No laundry on site.

- Mauricio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sithole (5/5): Passable -
- Clifton (3/5): Good location, good property, poor booking and checkin - Code did not work I had to spend many hours on many calls because the software that the host uses did not work to collect my security deposit. I only was given a green light that they would rent me the property after noon on the day of check in. This does not give much comfort that I have a place to stay. Ended up delaying my departure to Ottawa which put me late for my event. Not good!!! And not my fault!!!
- Musial (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kayww86 (5/5): Comfortable but could do some more upkeep. - Very comfortable beds, decent shower, clean, good location walkable to downtown and across the road from a train station. First impressions were terrible: there was garbage all over the front steps and sidewalk and it stank. Once the garbage had been collected it was better. Lack of amenities: no hand soap anywhere, no garbage bags in any bins or any spares (rectified when I asked), only 2 chairs and 2 mugs (unacceptable for a place that can sleep up to 6), no hand towel or tea towel in kitchen. The wifi code provided was incorrect so we didn't have access for more than a day until it was fixed. The garden is very dirty and unkempt and obviously hasn't been attended to in a long time. It was unclear where to put filled garbage bags outside. The shower grout is mouldy and needs redoing and there was hair in the plug hole, no plug in bathroom sink. The flooring in the hall way needs replacing. The front door to the unit cannot open fully - it hits the opposite wall of the corridor - meaning you cannot get a full size stroller in, and may even struggle with a large suitcase.
Once you book, the host offers their private parking spot for $15 a day, but it is 5 minutes from the house behind a convenience store so you can't keep an eye on your car. There is on street parking out front if you can get a visitor permit ($9) in advance (takes about 3 working days to process and needs info from the host to be approved). A better alternative would be to pay the same $15 a day rate to the community care home directly opposite the building who are hiring out spots in their large parking lot, then you can keep an eye on the car while also giving money to the local community.
- Natali (8/5): Will come back, my family liked and felt comfortable for 2 nights. - Cleanliness, conveniently located, parking, attentive hostess The sofa bed was in bad condition, couldn’t open/extend it because it was sunken.
- Jerome (9/5): Good Price. Fair stay. No frill. - Super Straigth Forward approach. All electronically done and seamless. Would recommend for anyone looking for a decent spot for a weekend. On a deadeand so no street traffic at all during the night. Some things could be enhanced like floorings and the lack of a fan in the bathroom but mostly A1
