Guest Reviews
- Joseph (10/5): Relaxing getaway - Incredible location with breathtaking views. Two amazing beaches within walking distance. Exceptional food.
- Magheti (3/5): price-quality ratio no, they save a lot on food - The location is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. The food was horrible, the portions were very small and you could only eat the food as it was already prepared, if you asked for it without sauce or something different you were told it was not possible and on top of that they didn't have all the products on the menu, compared to the price quality it's not worth it
- Cathy (9/5): -
- Gail (10/5): - Staff, location, room. I thought that the food was not really good enough for a top notch hotel.
The choice was quite limited for lunch and dinner.
Breakfast was much better.
- Amelia (10/5): Unforgettable experience! Can’t wait to be back soon! - Beautiful views, amazing beaches, clean rooms and very friendly staff who made the stay unforgettable. The best food we’ve had at an all inclusive - daily changing a la carte menu with fresh ingredients! Nothing!
- Dave (10/5): -
- Rotem (10/5): Can’t wait to go back - Everything Nothing
- maria (9/5): -
- Jonathan (9/5): -
- Tracy (9/5): Excellent stay that provided privacy and much needed rest and relaxation - I was completely impressed with the friendliness of the staff, everyone was super welcoming. The food was wonderful, gourmet meals daily. There was a bit of an organic feel to COCOS. The mahogany decor and outside showers, a different kind of luxury. The views from our private pool kept us speechless daily. Less mosquitoes would have been nice. Because you’re immersed in nature, I suppose it goes with the territory.
- Merouane (9/5): -
- Louise (10/5): 10 stars! - Everything!!
- Tyrone (10/5): Staff and service is totally amazing - worth every penny - Exceptional service great food and an amazing setting Our accommodation was located at the top of the hill so going back and forth to the main restaurant was sometimes hard going!
- Susan (9/5): Our idylic relaxing winter break - Love the location, the vibe of the place and manager and staff are very attentive and helpful Nothing as we keep going back
- peter (7/5): -
- Marsha (10/5): Amazing - Everything Nothing
- stuart (8/5): -
- Chelsie (5/5): Not worth the money - The view was amazing & the room was nice We paid $1800/night for a room with a cold pool - there was too much shade - the staff didnt restock our fridge - there was only one restaraunt with OK food - staff didnt seem too eager to please us
- Jakob (10/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): Paradise! - Excellent blend of luxuary and rustic. Very quiet, restorative and intimate. We had a great time!
- Mayra (10/5): Un lugar diferente, mucha vegetación pero lindo - Muy lindo lugar y hermosas playas
- Phillipps (10/5): -
- Nisa (10/5): -
- Cammie (10/5): Gorgeous views, amazing staff! - The location was gorgeous! White beaches and turquoise waters. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The meals were amazing and the views in the outdoor dining was spectacular. We had an infinity pool on our deck with beautiful sunset views. The outdoor shower was wonderful. The property was wonderful. I do wish we’d know about the noise of the tree frogs at nights so we could have brought ear plugs.
- Bridget (10/5): -
- Akshay (9/5): - The location, beaches and design of the hotel The in house entertainment could have been better.
- Carnika (10/5): We did not want to leave!! - I loved every single thing about this property! It’s absolutely beautiful and the views are picturesque. It’s a smaller resort comprising of villas and one main dining area. The food was exceptional!!! Chef Faye never missed. The staff get to know you and make sure you are always comfortable. We will definitely be back to see Kris and Ronald the bartender was amazing! The best all inclusive resort we have ever stayed in. N/A
- Mark (10/5): We'll be doing back!!! - Staff lovely know you by name
Location
Food was exceptional Sometimes minibar not sticked and had to ask specifically
- Simon (6/5): -
- Camillo (9/5): Vacanza eccezionale e rilassante - Posizione stupenda, staff gentilissimo e disponibile. Cibo ottimo
- Sean (10/5): For us, close to perfection, - If you can imagine a small, friendly slice of paradise you have imagined Cocos. Food is amazing, location stunning, staff friendly and simply put you won't want to leave. A choice of private areas on two beautiful beaches and lovely clear warm sea to swim in! Its not a modern massive palace, it is only 40 odd rooms, adults only, couples only!
- Catherine (10/5): Great boutique hotel sandwiched between two gorgeous beaches - Great location between two gorgeous beaches . Not too large but big enough to have two restaurants and three bars and very friendly staff Nothing though is quite hilly for those with walking difficulties
- Nicholas (8/5): -
- Amelia (7/5): -
- Laura (10/5): An absolute gem, with rustic luxury rooms, beautiful beaches with crystal waters, and incredible staff. - Everything! The views, the rustic feel like, fabulous beaches, amazing staff, incredible food and the live music. Loved it all!
- Rachel (7/5): Amazing setting - Our room got upgraded to one with a pool which was fantastic! The restaurant had such an amazing view with the best sunsets! I would also say overall the food at the restaurant was very good, best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Finally the two beaches either side of the hotel were so picturesque - the snacks bar felt slightly unhygienic as there was around 4 cats going in and out of the makeshift kitchen
- some of the buildings/ beach furniture needed some Tlc
- the entertainment on a couple of the nights weren’t the best
- Gabriele (10/5): -
- Ward (7/5): -
- Heath (10/5): Heaven! With delicious cocktails and such friendly and fun staff! We’ll be back!! - Location by the 2 coves and perched on the cliffs was stunning! Loved the outdoor rainforest shower and verandah with hammock - need 2 hammocks though! The snorkelling equipment was a bit lacking - broken or old. And could do with more paddle boards
- Marco (6/5): - The room was advertised on booking.com as more than twice the size of the actual room.
Food was average at best.
Hotel needs upkeeping and maintenance
- Terrelda (9/5): The food was a culinary delight! The staff were so friendly ! The beach and views were great. - The property was located in the Lucious hills. Every view was spectacular The mosquitos!!!!!!!!!
- Rebecca (10/5): Sensational honeymoon stay! - View from our Bay View Cottage - our private pool was absolutely amazing! Loved our quiet the resort was - always plenty of sunbeds and the beaches were so peaceful. Staff were incredible, especially Anisha and Omario whose rum punches were the best on the island! Food was absolutely gorgeous - especially all the fresh fish & jerk chicken! Not a major issue but did find there was a strange smell at the Sunset Bar Grill, not sure if it was the drains? Also struggled to borrow a snorkel kit as they always seemed to be in use!
- Giles (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (8/5): Glorious way to relax - Location of the resort is wonderful - it’s on the edge of two stunning beaches which are essentially private to the resort. The small bars and main restaurant are well located for sundowner drinks and meals, and the vibe is very relaxed. There are plenty of nice touches for an all inclusive - all meals are a la carte, cocktails are good and the Carib beer on tap! Lighting in the rooms could be better, especially in our bathroom.
- Debra (9/5): Gorgeous boutique vibe of a hotel in stunning Antigua - Beautiful location straight on to beach the property was quirky and the staff really couldn’t do enough , lovely food and amazing cocktails , the outside showers are amazing ! Comfortable bed and spacious room with stocked mini bar perfect for sunset drinks , liked the evening entertainment and the whole hotel had a lovely friendly vibe ! The hotel is set on quite a hilly spot ( hence the stunning views ) could prove quite tricky after it had rained if u weren’t that good on your legs !
- Stacy (7/5): Good - While the property sits on a stunning location of aquamarine water, it is clear to me that the facilities needs updating. For example, some of the lounge chairs were falling apart and had boards haphazardly hammered back on. The irrigation system for the overflow during the storm was honestly disgusting and made me want to leave the resort. The water was unsuitable at that point. Lastly, the food was either excellent or bad. It varied too much and was not consistent.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Jide (10/5): Exceptional - We loved every moment!
- Nicola (7/5): Good for a short stay of a few days - The property is looking very tired and the food is average. The drinks were plentiful and excellent as were the staff.
- Jacqueline (6/5): Great location but not great value for money - Excellent location Food was average
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Relaxing, beautiful location. - All meal courses were very high quality and the staff were excellent in answering any queries. They were also very pleasant and accommodating.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bob (9/5): Well looked after in a relaxing atmosphere in beautiful surroundings - Idyllic location. Food excellent. Staff friendly and efficient.
- Victoria (9/5): Great stay - Gorgeous view from room. Mini bar a nice idea. Great staff. Tea/coffee making facilities not great and on top of a tall bureau so not easy to use.
- Kapoor (10/5): Beautiful resort, highly recommend - The meals are a set menu, not buffet. But high quality excellent food. The staff cannot do more to ensure your needs are met. Shauna (bought us an avocado!), Faye the head chef made us a mango cheesecake for my birthday with mangoes we had sourced and Nikisha and Waseba made excellent cocktails! The view at the restaurant was wonderful.
The cottages are very nice but the quality is definitely improved with higher grading. Lots of steep walking on site but phenomenal views. Beaches are kept tidy. Great activities - particularly enjoyed the yoga session.
Special mention to the staff: Loreen, Anishia, Krishna,
Jabahari (who moved our luggage to a different room twice!), Kerry and the manager Kris. It was a truly memorable stay for my birthday with my sister and friends. Thank you! N/A
- Filip (9/5): Beautiful & very relaxing - This is a resort with separate wooden cottages sprinkled over a rocky cliff. This feels very nice compared to concrete based resorts. Everything is green and there are concrete/stone pavements and wooden stairs that connect the cottages with the lobby & restaurant. Walking to some of the higher situated cottages might be a bit of a "hike", but this was actually quite welcome for us. Overall the place is very quiet and even though there are other guests we felt a lot of privacy. As non-native English speakers we would welcome if the staff spoke a bit louder/clearer sometimes; especially when it's windy it's hard to catch some words. Other than this we couldn't really complain about anything!
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Erika (9/5): A carribean beach dream - Staff was extra ordinary, you feel their motivation and excitement
great beach (on both sides, choose the one you like)
AI quality was absolutly ok (good variety and quality) It gets a bit crowded when cruise ship tourists arrive (but the mainly stay away from the Hotel facilities)
Some areas need a refurbishment
- Gerry (10/5): Perfect - Everything No cons
- Melissa (9/5): Super relaxing - Amazing location, loved the rustic style, very low key (don't expect many activities or lively nightlife) and relaxing. The 2 beaches are great and we loved the outdoor shower. We booked a cookery class and it was cancelled on the day. We didn't mind the topography but be aware that some of the paths are steep, the stairs are rustic and they can be slippery when wet.
- Samuel (10/5): The people make you feel so welcome, the rooms feel separate from other guests, the surroundings are beautiful, the food - Everything Nothing
- Catherine (10/5): Best hotel we have stayed at in Antigua - we will definately return - Great location between two gorgeous beaches . Lovely spacious rooms with big balconies and outdoor showers . Very friendly staff and just right size - big enough to have three bars and restaurants but small enough not to feel overwhelmed Nothing
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything about this place, it was everything that we expected. Beautiful hotel on a lovely beach, the staff were super kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a couples break without the kids No complaints at all, its a great hotel. The site could possibly benefit from a gym, i was missing exercise especially with all the food i consumed!
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Nathan (7/5): Good - The room with the pool was fantastic. The staff in the hotel went out of their way to assist you in having an enjoyable time.
The service was good. Views and beach were lovely.
Although our room didn't have a sunset view it was perfectly located over the bar. You could listen to the band in our private pool while sipping drinks. For the price point the resort is at I expected a bit more.
There was only one beer to select from. The hotel was a bit more than rustic. It seemed a bit tired and needing updating.
The food was good but not excellent.
- Allison (6/5): As expected - Traditional salt fish breakfast was nice Upgrade process should be tiered and not selective
Beaches should be cleaned
- Allison (6/5): Pleasant - The breakfast is great. Evening entertainment on Sunday was fantastic Beaches and sun beds not clean
Room need some repairs and updates
- Malcolm (3/5): Poor -
- Lawrence (9/5): Superb -
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - We Love COCOS!
It is Amazingly Gorgeous!
Beautiful Cottages...Beaches...Grounds....
Friendly Service....
Quiet Quaint and Peaceful....
- Denise (9/5): Cottage overlooking turquoise waters, where Caribbean breezes and island life whisper "no worries" - The location is magical - hillside sea views, easy access to two beaches, and rustic cottages with everything one could need, including mosquito spray. The staff were all amazing. We were treated as treasured guests during our 6-day island stay.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (9/5): Totally relaxing and romantic holiday in the most beautiful place with fantastic service. - Genuine Caribbean hospitality in a beautiful location. Stunning beach with sunset views. Enjoyed eating at restaurant overlooking the sea with excellent service and good gluten free options. Enjoyed kayaking and cocktails on the beach! The grounds include lots of natural vegetation which is beautiful and attracts a wider variety of birds - we loved watching them during our stay. We loved the quiet swimming pool for refreshing swims in the shade of the palm trees. We were able to use the facilities until going to the airport after checkout which meant we could make the most of the day before going home. Due to the rain, the access to the small beach was broken and not very safe. This beach area also needed some renovations. Evening entertainment could be improved.
- Cathy (9/5): Gorgeous views and totally relaxing - Beautiful location between two gorgeous beaches. The staff were amazing. We really enjoy the laid back atmosphere and making friends with the other 40 couples. We were given full warning but our cottage was at the top of the hill and it was a major climb. So much that you planned your day so you did not go back to your room except to change.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Jayne (10/5): A beautiful cottage in a stunning location with friendly, helpful staff. - We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the most lavish cottage which was out of this world on Christmas Day. We absolutely loved everything about it.
- Charlotte (10/5): The most perfect honeymoon! - The unusual concept of the cottages up the hill, the staff were brilliant and the fact we had two beautiful beaches to choose from. The staff were excellent and made the trip to name a few the wonderful manager Kris, Terry Ann, Loreen, Kerry and Chantelle - just the most lovely people who made us feel so welcome! We had the best honeymoon and would definitely return. Take your mosquito spray!
- Beach (9/5): The end of our Caribbean cruise landed us in paradise! Cocos Hotel in Antiqua - good breakfast with lots of options. I loved the Jamaican Blu Mountain coffee with coffee creme. We loved the quite tropical vibe of this little resort with lots of privacy. The location was the best. This intimate vintage West Indies style resort was perfect for the ending of our 8 day cruise. It was so relaxing & quite The entire staff were super friendly & kind. I loved the simple layout of the resort, having the check-in / lobby area, restaurant all together overlooking the most incredible bay with an infinity view of the aqua sea! It was stunning! We booked this "sunset cottage" on Booking.com & this ocean view cottage was supposedly over 2600 sq. ft. ! making the high rate seem worth; it was an average room, no more than 300. sq. ft. It did have a nice balcony & an out door shower which was so nice!
- Ramy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Amazing holiday destination - Amazing location, beautiful beach and super staff No gym,
- Andrey (10/5): Amazing couples only place in the Caribbean - We stayed for 8 nights in 3 different rooms and loved absolutely everything.
People! The nicest and most helpful staff. Huge thanks to Kris and Maria for making our trip so memorable and relaxing.
Location. The hotel is located on the west side of the island at the Caribbean Sea. This is a better option as the sea is not as rough as the ocean, especially when it is windy, and has fantastic clear water. The hotel is on a small rock/hill by the water and sunset views are absolutely amazing.
Beaches. There are two really nice beaches near the hotel: Valley Church Bay and Jolly Beach. We preferred the one at the Valley Church Bay. There are sunbeds only for Cocos residents. Alternatively, you can stay at the hotel grill bar right next to the beach as it offers some nice shade during the afternoon. This side has a lot of sun in general, so if you like a bit more shade the part of the Jolly Beach on the other side has a cute little lagoon, also for hotel residents only, and is a more calm option.
Food/Drinks. There is a main restaurant next to the reception. They offer a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner - our favourites were Caribbean flavours for meat and seafood. The bar next to it is the area to socialise in the evening after dinner with some nice live music (which is different every day). Cocktails are great - our favourite was the rum punch with angostura bitters and nutmeg. The bar on Valley Church side is open in the afternoon (until around 5:30pm) and offers great grill food like burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs - our favourite was quesadilla with shrimps. There is a draft lager beer (great in the sun) and of course cocktails, they do a cocktail of the day, which is fun. There is a tiny bar next to the Jolly beach as well - it is a good option to pick up a drink after a boat ride or a diving session as this is where boats usually pick you up from and where they usually drop you off. Nothing serious to mention really.
The breakfast service at 7am in the morning may be a bit slow, not an issue, just to keep in mind if you are in a hurry.

- Jo (3/5): Disappointed! Cost me £600 for a night for my husband’s 60th but was not worth the money. Menu was limited & hotel v - The mini bar in the room was good. Dirty, run down, dark, dingy, steep climbs everywhere. Room was supposed to be sea view but trees were in the way of every part of the view. Staff quite rude. Took ages to get served… anything!
- Andrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danny (3/5): Poor - Location Unsafe, tired not very clean or comfortable
- Riccardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annie (9/5): Superb -
- Harut (3/5): Pay 5-star prices to get 3-star quality. - No attention to detail and inconsistent service. Many of the food and drink options consistently out of stock. Quickly ran out of beach towels and not refreshed for hours. Ran out of drinking classes. Property needs to better maintained with rotting stairs and broken sidewalks. Service extremely slow. Location
- Jacob (4/5): The views and room was amazing the staff and drinks were not. - Property was amazing, the views the room and amenities were amazing absolutely no complaints. No complaints it was amazing
- Michael (9/5): We loved the laidback barefoot nature of the resort. Might be board if staying for more than 5 days. We mixed our stay a - The barefoot laidback style of the resort Smell coming from behind the swimming pool area. The hilly nature of the resort which meant we only visited the valley church beach once.
- Everett (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (9/5): Just what my wife and I needed to relax after a hectic year, views to die for and the best staff - Atmosphere was great , views and beaches incredible and the staff were amazing. great banter and nothing was too much trouble. they went above and beyond to make our visit special from the first welcoming Rum Cocktail to the last Lunch some a little tired but they are clearly dealing with this and have a plan which was witnessed. But rustic Antigua at its best. I would definitely say again
- Nicholas (8/5): Very good -
- Brooke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaye (8/5): Very good -
- Massaro (10/5): Exceptional - The whole place
- Peter (10/5): A wonderful holiday in a stunning location! - It was a fantastic hotel in a stunning location, set on a hill between 2 beautiful beaches. The food was authentic Antiguan and the staff helpful and charming. A wonderful holiday in the perfect spot! It was all good!
