Kindly asked the customer service to fix it but the message were all left unread and unanswered, apparently they don’t read English text messages. The only way to get their response is to channel your inner Chinese Karen to call and demand an answer. But still we just want them to explain those outages but left unanswered again. The staff are untrained and unprofessional (ALL MY MESSAGES ARE LEFT UNREAD AND UNANSWERED) DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VACATION. They promise to gift you something if left a 5 star review so take the other review with a grain of salt

Instructions were very clear and we had no problems as such in check in and check out Could have been given be 1 more vessel for cooking. The soap for hand wash for extremely diluted and the soap to wash vessels was very less and diluted.

The view was great and the location was convenient. Finding the place was challenging as no one seemed to know the Bess Hotel so we were sent round and round the building in the heat. Lack a few minor things, like no tea spoon provided to make drink and no dish cloth to clean counter top. Teapot is all in Mandarin and very inconvenience for people who don't read Mandarin. Master bed room cannot close properly and a little noisy at night and early morning.
- Yon Gin (2/5): I would not recommend staying here despite the reasonable prices unless you like cockroaches - close to checkpoint and easy collection of keys. The apartment was apparently located near the rubbish chute, therefore we found lots of baby cockroaches around the apartment. One was crawling in the water boiler and under the coffee table. The room did not seem to be cleaned before we entered, presumably because no one might've stayed before we checked in. The place also lacked proper cleaning supplies to wash the plates and utensils provided. When we asked for a refund as we were uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the room, we were only allowed to swap to a different room. No refund was offered. Granted that the new room that was given to us (in another block) was clean, the situation could've been handled better and we should have been offered a refund at least for the one night in the room with cockroaches. Our plans for the second day was delayed due to the slow service recovery from both booking.com and host.

- Gan (9/5): Great Apartment Unit With Great View At An Affordable Price on Weekdays - Just show the security guard the booking and he happily helped to show me the letter box to retrieve the key to the apartment unit When I booked the unit, it was pay upfront and non cancelable but can reschedule. When I requested to change to one day later, the landlord said can't change. This despite me confirming that I am willing to take whatever unit that is available. So I would like Booking com to remove the statement that "is non cancelable but able to reschedule" to avoid misrepresentation. Overall it was an excellent apartment with quality fittings.

Tissue papers were strewn all over the place. The pot used to cook noodles was not washed, with unfinished noodles still inside. The bowls of unfinished noodles were also left on the coffee table. Bedrooms were in disarray. There were tissue papers and lots of cigarette ashes at the balcony. Housekeeping did not clean up the place before the keys were left in the letter box for collection. We had to wait 25 minutes before the housekeeping team of two turned up. Waited another 45 minutes before they eventually cleaned up the place.

Stockwerk auf Singapur. Zudem ist die Lage sehr gut, wenn man die Unterkunft zum Transit nach Singapur nutzen möchte. Der Checkpoint ist 20 Gehminuten oder wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Der Check-in Prozess ist für malaysische Verhältnisse sehr einfach. Der Preis ist im Verhältnis zu dem was man bekommt unschlagbar günstig. Der einzige Kritikpunkt gilt den sehr harten Betten. Da wir aber nur eine Nacht dort waren, war uns das relativ egal.

- josephina65 (8/5): 숙소는 훌륭하지만 서비스가 아쉬운 레지던스 - 위치와 뷰가 좋았습니다. 객실도 세 개로 넓고, 바다 너머로 싱가포르도 보여서 좋습니다. 수영은 못했지만 수영장이 무척 넓고 깨끗해보이고, 단지 안에 산책도 할 수 있게 잘 가꾸어져 있습니다. 2시에 체크인하기 전 미리 도착하면 짐을 맡길 수 있다고 안내되어 있지만 1시쯤 갔는데도 수위 아저씨가 안된다고 해서 무거운 짐을 끌고 식당 찾아 다녔습니다. 식사 후 2시에 열쇠 찾아서 셀프 체크인 했지만 객실 정리와 청소가 안 되어 있어서 호스트와 연락하니 30분 후에 객실 청소팀이 도착했습니다. 청소하는 동안 그대로 있기 뭐해서 반 강제로 다시 외출할 수밖에 없었습니다. 숙소는 좋지만 서비스가 좀 아쉬웠습니다.

- Norbert (1/5): The provider should act in good faith and do not change the offer after it has been accepted - Warning—unreliable provider! I booked an apartment with a sea view and a balcony. Upon arrival, I was told that the apartment was located in a different building. When I got there, I was told I had to go back to the other building. So I ended up lugging my luggage back and forth between the buildings several times. The result was that I ultimately ended up with an apartment overlooking a major construction site. An email to the provider was met with a negative response. Instead of the booked sea-view apartment with 1 bedroom, 1 living room, and a balcony, I received a studio apartment overlooking the large construction site. Nothing but negative points for this provider. However, I’ll give one positive point for the cleanliness and amenities of the room, and another for the friendliness of the security staff.

- Li Ling (8/5): 或許該房已有相當一段期間無人居住，一開門進去時、空氣沈悶令人感覺不太舒服。 - 地理位置優越，景觀不錯。 浴室電燈有一處無法持續點亮， 告知了管理員，其回應會派員檢查，但卻無實質行動？

- Andy (7/5): - The location is good and the apt is clean apart from the toilet. Toilet flushing system is not working well leaving part of the toilet from getting flushed properly leaving strong urine smell. Need to adjust the flushing and cleaning crew need rp address the issue seriously.
- Shawn (5/5): - Nice seaview Got my car wheel lock by security without any reason. Waste my time walking few blocks to find for security guard office to unlock my car wheel . Very angry and disappointed. Owner should communicate properly with the security regarding parking lot is meant for the guest to park.
