Guest Reviews
- Dione (8/5): - Funcionário atencioso. Enviou todas as instruções e funcionou tudo muito bem. Quarto bem equipado.
Self check-in veloce.
- Dayne (5/5): I mean.. What can I say? - I liked how big the shower was. Very spacious and works very well. The location is a very quiet backstreet near cornwallis.
Now for those who don't know this area, it is a preety rough part of north London. I know this as I spent most of my life growing up here so although familiar, you must be vigilant.
Not many food shops or activities to do local so be prepared to venture out. Oh may i add, the room layout was small. I'm also not fond of having next door neighbour's... Sounds antisocial I know.
- Daniel (3/5): Mal - - Las paredes tenian humedad y moho.
- Kuvaneswari (8/5): - Overall, the stay was good.
soon. The space was quite limited, so guests with large luggage should carefully consider booking this small room.
There was some leaking or a water stain on the ceiling, which I hope can be repaired or repaintedd
- Ndue (10/5): -
- MARK (10/5): After a 3 night stay... - Location - can get anywhere by train or bus! Couldn't find a fault.
- Alexandros (7/5): - The location was good and 10 minutes from underground stations. The price was normal for the London The room wasn’t clean enough. There was a lot of dirty spots in the bathroom and in the floor

- Annamária (9/5): Cozy apartment in a nice location - This is indeed a small cozy apartment in a nice location. The apartment itself was nice and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and a light lunch in the apartment and we also got some complimentary tea bags and coffee. The communication with the host was smooth and easy and he helped us a lot with our booking. The room is well equipped for a short stay with a kettle, toaster, plates and mugs. We were able to get to the city centre quite easily from the apartment, the public transport is very good in that area. We also found quite a few cool spots nearby (pubs, restaurants, cafes), so we were happy with the neighbourhood. The apartment is quite small so if two people are travelling with mure luggages it may be a bit difficult to find a spot for everyhing. There were some other small things which may be important for some quests - firstly the blinds are not too effective, the morning light is still going to come in in the morning (which may be important for those who are more sensitive to light) and the bathroom doors are a bit tricky to use and does not really cancel the sounds from the inside (note for new couples..) - but these are really just small things and did not affect our stay in a negative way whatsoever.
- Rachael (8/5): Easy, convenient and would stay again - Close to where I needed to be. Good check in instructions. Nothing to dislike
- György (7/5): - Hangulatos, kicsi hely. Rossz, elhasznált matrac! Nem volt tiszta a szoba!
- Malak (10/5): -
- Justyna (10/5): -
- Gary (5/5): Fair for the price of good access to London via bus and train - Although a tight squeeze, it had all the necessary facilities The first impression was poor. The entrance and the stairs are tacky
- Jefferson (9/5): - The location was great
The host even better stayed in contact with me throughout our stay
transport links were fantastic
The bed was comfy and shower decent
Great for what we needed If anything was a bit small and cramped when the Mrs and i was trying to get ready for the gig
- Alpamys (7/5): Good - Perfect location. 10-12 minutes walking to the subway. There are shops near the property. We are delighted with the cleanliness. There is all the equipment to cook at home. Very friendly and helpful host. We stayed 7 nights. In the future, if we go to London, we will definitely stay again. The studio is small, normal for 1-2 people. But no more than 2 people. There is no soundproofing. You can hear the neighbors' voices and sometimes trains on the rails. But all this is nothing compared to the advantages, such as good location, cleanliness, and a helpful host.
- Anna (9/5): Nice, comfortable, and close to public transportation - The place is very nice and very comfortable. Also, it's very well connected with underground and buses! I'll certainly rent it again if we go back to London
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional - location and how clean it was! n/a
- Marian (8/5): We probably new what to expect from our booking but it was tighter than I expected. Overall our two nights were comforta - Location to where we wanted to base ourselves for our short stay.
Kitchen facilities
Comfy bed
Smart TV
Crisp clean sheets and bedding Tight living space
Chilly at night
Bathroom door not closing fully
Extremely tight bathroom space
- Jane (7/5): Good - Good location
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Cecile (10/5): love the place and will come back next time I come to London - great location, one room with everything you need, small kitchen well equipped , nice bathroom . I thought it will have air conditioning, it was a little hot in August, especially because Window do not open much,
There is a fan, but still hard to cool the room.
- Tracey (4/5): Too small for two people. Good location though. - The location was convenient. The bed sagged and was quite soft. We both left with sore backs.
The unit is very small for 2 people and would be more suitable for one person staying for a night or two. There is one small rack for a suitcase and no place to put a second. Ours went on top of the one small table in the suite leaving no other place to set something down. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom (no toilet paper holder!) and the sink is designed for confined spaces so no place to set something down there.
The bed is very close to the bathroom door and it is even closer to the wall on the other side so it is impossible for your partner to get to the bathroom without disturbing you.
You can clearly hear everything from the neighbors in the suite next to you.
- Irene (7/5): Good -
- Cristina (6/5): Nice place, good price. - The place was small but our first impression was that was a nice place. It had many things that made it practical: hair dryer, a fan...The host was approachable and reachable when we needed help. The toilet sink was blocked with hair and It was creating a funny smell in the room.
- Carol (7/5): Great for what we needed - It had everything we required as we were actually only sleeping there.
Loved the fact we could park from 4pm Friday tui we left Sunday morning for free Very very small and difficult to manoeuvre
- Deep (7/5): Good - Bathroom had a weird drainage smell when fan was on for a while but was nice besides from that
- Delyth (9/5): Better for solo travel. Great location. Easy check in. - Close to Archway tube station, clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would return as a solo traveller. Very small studio, hard to get around the room with 2 people. Door to the bathroom opens very narrow which again made it hard to navigate in and out. Better for solo travel.
- Zaki (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (6/5): Really nice and good location - Great location for me , comfortable bed everything I needed Flat next door bit noisy. Train noisy to , bathroom very tiny internet bit hit and miss at times
- Sobia (7/5): Good -
- Conchita (9/5): Clean, quiet, comfortable and good price for London. - Cute tiny studio, comfortable, clean and quiet and good price for London. Tiny but with all essentials. A house converted into six studios in a very good area. We had number 4.
The bed and pillows (two pillows each and nice green cushions) were really comfortable, with very clean cotton white sheets. Very big and good shower. White cotton towels..Very quiet (we had the garden studio and, in spite of the overground running at the back of the garden, you could not hear it at all- and this from someone who needs quiet!). It has a kitchen corner which is useful for breakfast and heating things up in the microwave. And a table and two chairs. Everything in that tiny space!
Fernando is very good at corresponding. He arranged for us to have an extra duvet. He is very keen to help. Thank you. Just what we needed for the weekend. Hardly any room for clothes and no room for suitcases. I have called this to their attention. (they need to put a different unit). Though for just one or two days it was ok.
But if they change the unit, the studio is perfect. And for us only 10mns walk from our daughter.
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Ideal place for a short stay. - Quiet and clean. Nothing.
- Rebecca (9/5): Great spot for a london weekend! - Clean
Easy to find
Great communication with owner
Comfortable
Had everything we needed
Close to tube stations
- Elena (10/5): Absolutely recommended for the reasons listed. - The kindness of the host was unparalleled, and the place was very clean and easy to find, with all amenities for a short stay. It is also located in a quiet, residential area close to the city centre: with one bus (the bus stop is 2 minutes by foot from the apartment) you can easily reach the city centre in less than 30 mins. I just want to underline two main things that may convince you to book this place:
1- The host was VERY responsive and kind. He also let me bring my luggage at 7 am in the morning (check in is from 2 pm or later, can't remember) as I had to head to the conference venue for my presentation. I was in London for work.
2- Even though the cost per night might be a bit expensive, it is worth it. The vacation rental market in London is absolutely out of control. You cannot know what to expect. I had to change TWO Airbnbs because the quality was poor and the hosts never replied to my requests for support. In five days I had to change 3 places, the third being this room with private bathroom. My previous places either 1) were not safe, with locks not working, right in the city centre, or 2) had amenities not working (hot water for the shower). Plus, one of them was VERY FAR from the city centre (1 hour - 1.5 hours plus not entirely reached by public transport and in a bad neighborhood). Price of these places per night: 75-110. Stay away from places like these (and on AIRBNB!!!). I liked pretty much everything. Nothing comes to my mind. Standards in London are very low, and I found everything I needed in this place. Excellent quality of responsiveness and of the overall service
- Bruce (2/5): Bad. - Location The room was dirty. There was marks on the walls and loads of what looked to be mould or dust around the toilet. Contacted the host and they said they had never had this before. They messaged me saying that a cleaner would be going at 1pm, and if I wanted the room to be cleaned. I did not see that as I was already out and didn't have signal.
Regardless it should have been cleaned before we arrived.
The sink and shower would over flow with whatever "bits" that were down there floating to the top. This smelled very bad and very unhygienic.
Wires are cut and hanging out the wall in the bed room.
Plants are growing on the windows.
Shoes left in the main hallway at night which we tripped up on.
Only good if you're literally going to sleep and leave but even then that's at a push. The lock is held in place with cardboard (see pics)...
Door lock broken and door could easily be put through if someone wanted to. Felt very insecure leaving valuables in there.
Stayed at many booking.com properties and I'm genius level 3 and never had such a terrible property.
- Marcio (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Would definitely stay here again & would recommend - Clean & comfortable. I asked for a later check out as I had a late flight and my request was accommodated no problem to which I was very grateful for Unable to get terrestrial TV, perhaps it could be tuned in
- Anonymous (8/5): Had a lovely experience but with the temperatures we did find it very extremely hot - The location for visiting friends Too hot but probably expected this time of year with the room being small
