Guest Reviews
- Chiow Ling (8/5): - Quiet neighbourhood. Slightly warm(hot) when we arrived, informed and requested the host about it and felt much better after that. Thanks Fernando :)
- Caroline (7/5): All in all OK for the price and would return - The location was perfect for me, although close to busy Archway it was very quiet. Pretty good kitchen equipped suitably. Having the breakfast bar table was a good way to ensure I did not just slouch in the bed when eating and watching TV. Host responded very quickly to any queries. Did not realise until I bought it milk only big enough for smaller milk cartons. But not a major issue. The switch for the cooker was under the cupboard. There were a couple of minor maintenance issue reported to host who says he will be looking into this, such as possibly needing a new mattress.
- Andrew (10/5): - Great location, great communication from Fernando and was always a message away if needed. Really nice apartment and all communication for checking in was easy to access. N/a

- Gerallt (9/5): - Easy to access and ideally located for me. Everything was fine.

- Mousom (5/5): Have a plan b! - The service was outstanding. Fernando was extremely helpful and made every effort to provide the best possible support. Apartment 3A is very beautiful and offers a reasonable amount of space. Unfortunately, the maintenance was quite poor. When we checked in, the wooden floor next to the toilet was completely wet, making it uncomfortable to use. It was later discovered that the issue was caused by a leak from the toilet on the upper floor, which was very unpleasant and concerning. Thankfully, Fernando was very helpful and assisted us in moving to another apartment.
- Young (2/5): Disappointing, it seemed as if there had been no care. - Close to underground and near to the person we were visiting The bathroom smelt like sewerage. Loose tiles in the bathroom had allowed water to seep under the flooring making it spongy. The mattress had been put on upside down, so that springs went into our backs- we obviously turned it over. The towels did not smell nice, as if they had been stored near cooking oil. Although there was a coffee machine there were no pods to make it useful. One bedside lamp couldn’t be plugged in as the flex did not reach the plug. Finally with a bathroom that tiny it would have been useful to have hooks on the back of the door so that towels didn’t have to be placed on the toilet
- Weronika (10/5): Highly recommend! Very nice studio, everything was clean. Communication with the owner was top class! He’s very kind per - Very cosy apartment, communication with owner 10/10 ! Fernando is very kind person !
- Ishan Sachin (7/5): - The host was great. close to underground. Silent most of time if you wish to work from here. Train noise at night

- Miles (4/5): If you're willing to clean the property, sleep semi-comfortable and put up with the smell then ok. - The best thing about this property was the owner. The owner is extremely nice and helped us with whatever we asked for. We had a problem with the washing machine early in our stay but Fernando made sure to sort it out right away. Heating and WIFI in general was also good. Washing detergent was provided. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing despite wishing to leave a good review. From the moment we entered the property, the carpeted stairs leading to the room had a strong and unpleasant odour. The room itself smelled of drainage for the entirety of our 10-day stay.
The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable, taking several days to adjust to. On arrival, the apartment was not properly cleaned, with visible cobwebs, cracked walls, and generally poor upkeep. Kitchenware/ cupboards/ towels/ sheets were either dirty or had a damp smell.
After a the maintenance visit, we reported these issues, at which point Fernando kindly offered a complimentary clean. However, by that stage we had already purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned the apartment ourselves, as we lacked confidence that housekeeping would adequately resolve the issues.
Given the price paid, we expected a significantly higher standard. The property is also outside Zone 1, with the nearest tube station approximately a 15-minute walk away, making transport costs add up. Unless you're in a hurry or need to go far busses are closer and offer amazing views. Noisy neighbours (at around 1am) further detracted from the experience.

- Gelfand (4/5): - The area is nice, bus and underground tube stations, restaurants and supermarkets are nearby - all within 5-15 minutes of walk.
Kitchen is well equipped (coffee maker, microwave, stove, washing machine, silverware, plates and glasses). I Really wanted to leave a good review but I will be honest. The place is tiny and you wouldn't fit in the bathroom unless you're thin and short.
Towels were smelly and over-used. There are Cracks on the walls and the walls themself are really thin - you can hear what everyone in the building is up too.
Bathroom ceiling is filled with mold and was leaking - during my stay the celing leaked multipule times and i was told someone was schedueld to come and look into it (was still leaking after that).
The apartment smelled like a mixture of mold and urine.
Laying on the Bed you could feel every spring of the mattress.
The lighting in the apartment was really bad and at night i could barely see anything with the lights on.
This apartment has a lot of good potential but in need for some urgent fixing, I truly hope it will be fixed before renting it to someone else.
- Artem (6/5): If you don't mind the smell... - The location is good. It has everything we needed to live comfortably. The main complaint is the smell. It was terrible. At first the toilet had a strong smell of chlorine but at the same time there was a sewage smell coming from sinks and it didn't go away. So I can't recommend it.
- RS (10/5): Buena relación calidad-precio - El anfitrión muy atento. Nos resolvió rápidamente un pequeño problema que tuvimos al llegar. El colchón de la cama.
- Sharon (8/5): Clean, comfortable, quiet & in a safe neighborhood & an excellent host - The apartment was a very clean, comfortable, quiet & in a safe neighborhood. The host was excellent, replied promptly to all my queries regarding the room & any questions I asked about London itself. We did not have any issues & it was not a problem for us but if you are a rather large person you may find the bathroom a little small.
- Sara (8/5): Very good - It has everything you need and it’s in a nice area. The host is very responsive! Upon our arrival, there was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling. Fernando was very responsive and came immediately to find out what the problem was. Unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved.
- Spotts (8/5): Best Local Little Studio - The flat was adorable. I loved feeling like I lived in London during my stay - the residential street we were on was beautiful. The location was so much better than I thought! There were stores and cafes and pubs all within walking distance, and we felt comfortable and like locals. It was just far enough from the city center to be peaceful and let you get some good rest each night. We left some laundry pods and coffee for the next group, to continue the good vibes! My only complaints are the very occasional sewer smell (lasts very briefly and is easily dissipated by opening a window ) and the lumpy bed. Honestly though, the bed didn't make my back hurt, probably bc I was so exhausted that I passed out quickly each night! The bathroom is definitely teensy, but I expected that in London. I found it cute and functional. My 6' 4" boyfriend fit in there and could wash, just couldn't bend down the best to wash his legs.
- Marta (8/5): Very good -
- Komnev (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirtana (7/5): Good - The property was renovated and set up well. The bathroom and kitchen were stocked with good basics. It was really easy to check in and out using the lock box. Great location near finsbury park, quiter than the more touristy areas of central London. The studio had a sewer smell that was tough to get rid of even with the windows open. I would say it is overpriced based on the size of the space and the lack of other amenities you would find in a hotel.
- Francesca (4/5): Disappointing - Awful smell in the room - you couldn't leave the windows closed because of the sewage smell.
- Nilsu (9/5): Superb -
- Macy (9/5): Was a perfect size, most importantly we felt safe - The communication between yourself and the owner was amazing! Fernando was always happy to help, always making sure that we were comfortable. It was very clean, even included a fan which we loved Was a little smell coming from the sink/ bathroom pipes we think but other than that everything was amazing
- Protea (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (7/5): Good -
- Evgeny (9/5): Great experience, met expectations - My host was awesome and made me feel comfortable. The neighborhood was great, with everything close by. The apartment itself was cozy and easy to use. The kitchen was perfect, with all the appliances I needed, and the bathroom was spotless and worked well. Would be great to have a little shower shelf to place shampoo / body wash
- Agata (8/5): Very good - Quiet neighbourhood, but close enough to the centre The bathroom is tiny, but it was ok for one slim person
- Vanessa (10/5): In the heart of islington right next to archers way station which takes you anyway was quiet nice area beautiful apartme - Very clean and beautiful Nothing to complain about was perfect
- Nadia (10/5): Fabulous stay, perfect location, Wonderful host! - The apartment was beyond what I expected. It was clean, well presented, comfortable and in a perfect location to get about London city centre. It also felt very safe as 2 females travelling alone. Booking was easy and getting into the apartment was easy to. I even asked if we could check in slightly earlier and the host was happy to accommodate this, updating me as soon as the room was ready.
I cannot fault the hospitality of the host. I had booked this apartment for a surprise weekend trip to London for a friends 30th birthday and had asked if it was possible to have a bottle of Prosecco set up and 2 glasses ready for arrival (which I stated I would pay for). This request was agreed to and when trying to arrange payment I was told that it was complimentary. This was such a thoughtful touch and really made the weekend extra special - my friend was absolutely delighted. Fernando kept in touch throughout the stay, checking in with us, and I do feel that if any issues had been raised he would have helped immediately.
Thank you for a wonderful stay - would highly recommend, and we will be back!
- Anne (7/5): Very nice and cozy place, excellent location, terrible sewer smell - Nice cozy place, very close to the underground station and bus station. We’ve only spent the nights in the apartment. Nice and warm blankets. Smart check-in by key locker. The owner was very helpful we could drop our luggage before check-in time. Grocery stores closeby. Everything was fine, except the odd penetrating sewer smell. The owner was very kind and asked us whether they could do anything for that, but it was in the whole apartment and probably hard to fix. We had to sleep with windows open, luckily there were nice and warm blankets :) There were no bedside lamps. If you are tall the bathroom could be on the small size.
- Arina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodie (10/5): Really loved our 2 night stay here. This will be my go to place when popping up to London. Thank you so much 😊 - Looked beautiful, spotlessly clean, felt safe and handy location. Tiny little suggestion …the bedside light on one side didn’t work because there was no plug there.
Maybe run an extension lead at the back of the bed to reach.
- Anonymous (10/5): Comfortable, clean and relaxing - Very comfy with everything needed on site! Easily accessible and really clean !! Nothing! It was brilliant
- Jeesoo (8/5): Very good -
- Begum (8/5): Very good - The property was up to date with its interior and the the property owner was attentive. Me and my sister struggled to open the door with the key one call and he guided us through it. Having an iron would have been handy
- Bernard (9/5): Superb - Property was nice and very clean. Fernando was an excellent host. Communication was excellent. Location is near to local super markets, local restaurants and cafe
- Luke (7/5): Good -
- Ashley (9/5): Superb - Not tried air bnb before. The whole experience was very easy.
- Kábelová (8/5): Very good - Nice room, nice alley Small WC
- Olivia (10/5): amazing weekend stay would 100% stay again. - everything e.g location, size, comfort, facilities, room etc there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Wendy (9/5): the most wonderful apartment - it was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped the only thing that could have been better was the bathroom sink could have been a little bigger
- Naomi (7/5): Lovely location, few growing pains, but overall would recommend. - The location and the studio were lovely. It had everything you could need: kitchen stuff, hairdryer, plenty of different coffees, tea, etc. Cute building in a lovely street.
The staff was super kind. Very easy to check-in, and we were always able to text or message the owner(s). Big up for that. These weren’t dealbreakers to not return but the walls and windows are very, very thin, needed earplugs to sleep. Lots of light still came through (especially during the summer), so if that bothers you: bring a sleeping mask. The shower head was leaking a bit but not a major issue.
- Ayobami (9/5): Superb -
