The location was great as we were planning to visit the bookstore. Privacy is wonderful, parking was great and easily accessible. The perfect little cottage with the wonderful backyard views. LOVED everything about this guesthouse!

• Arielle (9/5): A wonderful stay close to Collingwood and Blue Mountain! - We had a wonderful time at this property. Conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Collingwood and easily accessible through the back door of the main property with clear instructions on how to enter the guest house. The guest house is beautifully decorated, with a lovely rustic feel and shiny clean kitchen appliances (and a gas stove!). The bathroom was beautifully done with a wonderful shower as well. The second bedroom didn’t have a fan which was only realized late into the night. Very minor detail because the weekend was unexpectedly hot and humid. There is no air conditioning on this property.

• Melanie (10/5): A perfect spot for my family and dog when visiting the Blue Mountain and Collingwood area. - The interior is wonderful with many special touches. Guests need to know that it is located in the back garden of a home. I liked that my dog was welcome and Lisa ensured the snow was removed promptly and we had all the peace and quiet needed. It’s just important to know that this sweet little place has friendly neighbours close by!

Especially, I love the small details in house. The whole house has a holiday themed decorated as Christmas is around the corner. Blue mountains is 15 mins drive. Would love to come back here for next trip. N/A. Everything was more than perfect.

• Youell (8/5): Quiet, spacious, pretty retreat for couples or families! - The Cozy Cottage was exactly like the pictures- it was beautiful! It was comfortable (loved the bedding, towels, lounging couch in the living room) and it was quiet. We loved the option of dining outside at the patio table/muskoka chairs. The gardens were lovely. Our host was friendly and took great care showing us around the property. We loved meeting Ruby, their black lab! Very sweet. Our host did have to tell us about the septic troubles they were experiencing, so that we were aware of potential flooding etc. We fully understood, but it took away, slightly, from the overall experience of being carefree in our overnight stay- mostly because we were conscious of it.

Welcoming and friendly host! Suggest privacy curtains in the green bedroom to ensure a deeper sleep. Matress was awesome though!

• Andrea (10/5): The house was just beautiful. Comfortable, cozy and close to Collingwood for food and entertainment - Very easy, owner was outside in the driveway. We pulled in and she greeted us there at our car! She gave us a little tour of the home and then went back into the main house. Nothing! The house was even better than I pictured. One struggle was getting an Uber into Collingwood so we ended up calling a cab instead but that wasn't a problem.

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Lisa gave us a great tour of the place and her attention to detail far surpassed our expectations. She has thought of everything! The place itself was very clean and cozy. It was quiet and private, which was great for unwinding and relaxing. It's also located in an excellent spot - easily accessible, and also just a short walk away from a great cafe, the pub, and convenience store. In terms of driving, it was also an excellent location because it is a short drive to get to Collingwood, Blue Mountain, and Wasaga, as well as hiking trail access points. We also love that it's a dog friendly place with a fully fenced garden - it was great to be able to bring our dog with us! This is a great place to stay and we also hope to come back in the future!
