- Sandra (7/5): Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns dort wohlgefühlt. - Die Wohnung liegt super zentral. Es sind nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Metrostation. Die Akropolis ist eine Metrostation entfernt oder fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten. Die Wohnung ist hell und freundlich und perfekt ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung liegt an einer 4-spurigen Straße. Die Straße ist eine der Hauptstraßen in Athen und es herrscht 24stunden Dauerverkehr. Selbst in der Nacht ist es in dem vorderen Schlafzimmer durch den Verkehrslärm sehr laut. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist sehr klein. Man fühlt sich wie in einem Schuhkarton. Die Fenster gehen auf eine Hauswand, so dass es auch tagsüber eher dunkel ist.

- Brian (8/5): Comfortable, Clean, Easy City Access - The location is excellent. Easy walk to touristy Plaka district and the Acropolis of course. Also easy to jump on the metro. I liked the fact it has two restrooms and AC! The instruction book on arrival was helpful to stay organized. Also two fluffy pillows per person is uncommon in Europe and was highly appreciated! Turning on the hot water for a half hour before being able to use it takes some getting use to but isn’t a deal breaker. The smoke smell in the hallway and the walk up to the room was gag worthy. That’s not in the host but was unwelcomed. Also meant you can’t open the windows to air the bathroom during a shower because the tobacco smoke smell is so strong. One night the neighbours were very rude knocking on the wall but it only happened one night.

We will definitely return - Great communication from Helena, especially when our flight was delayed for over 24hrs due to the international IT issues. Very helpful and reassuring. Then Chryssa who picked us up from the airport and took us to the apartment to show us round was brilliant - again our rebooked flight was delayed arriving, but this was no problem and she stayed late to pick us up and tell us all we needed to know about Athens and the apartment. Very comfortable. Large screen TV with Netflix. Large fridge/freezer, washing machine (we didn't spot that in the advert), small balcony, comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring all of the major sights. We had planned to use the metro, but we just walked everywhere. Safe neighbourhood and secure apartment. Only minor point to note is the early morning traffic can be heard from the front bedroom, but if you live in a city, this would be expected. (Nothing to hear at all in the second double bedroom).
