The apartment was very clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. The communication with the owner was smooth, replied very fast for questions and was very kind.

• Hassaneine Haytem (9/5): Exceptional stay in the heart of Athens! - I had a truly wonderful experience staying at this apartment. The location is simply unbeatable — right on Ermou Street in Monastiraki, within walking distance of everything. Monastiraki Square, Syntagma Square, the Acropolis, Plaka, and countless restaurants, cafés, and shops are just steps away. The metro station is extremely close, including the direct airport line, which makes transportation incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was spotless, very well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The building is secure and gives a real sense of safety and privacy, which I truly appreciated. The host was professional, responsive, and very respectful. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Athens. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

• Fx812 (9/5): Zentrales Apartment in 1A-Lage im Herzen des (touristischen Athen) - Viel besser kann man meines Erachtens in Athen nicht wohnen. An der Straße zwischen Monasteraki Platz und Syntagma Platz gelegen ist man schnell überall in Athen. Die Römische Agora, die Ancient Agora oder Akrooplis sind alle fußläufig nach wenigen Minutzen zu erreichen. Über die Metro am Monasteraki Platz hat man eine hervorragende direkte Anbindung sowohl zum Fährhafen Piräus als auch zum Flughafen. Abends ist es unten in der Straße sehr lebhaft (Live-Musik) und bei offenem Fenster würde man wahrscheinlich nicht schlafen- aber die Fenster schlucken den Schall, es existiert eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage und nach 0 Uhr war es für eine Großstadt erstaunlich leise in einer so exponierten Lage. Das Apartment selbst ist funktional chic, gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Das Bett ist sehr bequem für meinen Geschmack. Bei meinem 4-Nächte-Aufhenthalt wurde am 2. Tag einmal geputzt und die Handtücher erneuert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber funktionierte einwandfrei über WhatsApp. Das Treppenhaus könnte zarte Gemüter etwas erschrecken, ist aber üblich für Athen. Der Eingang ist mehrfach gut gesichert; ich hatte nicht den Eindruck, dass das notwendig ist, aber es schadet ja nicht.

Air-conditioning works very well and is individually controlled. Good sized shower and one thing I appreciate is when there are lots of towel rails and hooks in the bathroom, which there was. The room was very clean when we arrived. Mr Andreas was very helpful and easy to reach on WhatsApp if we needed anything. Overall, this is an inexpensive room in a very central location and I would stay here again. Central location unfortunately also means noisy. There was music on the street outside the window until almost 1am some days (particularly Friday and Saturday). The cleaner came in after two of our four day stay, but didn't do a very good job. The floor in the bathroom was more dirty after the cleaner had been (like she had swept everything into one place and not swept it up or used a dirty mop) and the toilet flush buttons and tap had not been cleaned at all, but she did take out the rubbish and give us new towels which was nice. Note that you have to ask for an iron and ironing board in advance of when you need it. When I saw there wasn't one, I messaged Mr Andreas and he had one delivered the next day.

El edificio esta algo escondido y está en mejoras, pero el propietario te envía vídeos para evitar confusiones.

• Maria (10/5): AIOLOS : a hidden gem ! - It was excellent. A most wonderful surprise in the middle of a busy stretch of central athens. It is a perfect location to get to everywhere you need to. For further destinations the metro is 5mins away. It can be a bit noisy when there is an event on but that only happened on one of the nights. The windows are noise proof, it was just a very loud concert.

The location was perfect, close to all the hustle & bustle of Plaka and right on top of Ermou st. The room was very quite even though it was right in the center. Great room, very comfortable bed, spacious room and nice shower. We've enjoyed it a lot and we'll be back for sure. The building entrance could use some refreshing but the room was perfect and all new.
• Elli (5/5): Lots of potential but better options in the area. - Location is ideal with lots of shopping & eating options just a few feet away and a very short, direct walk to Monastiraki metro station. The apartment itself is quite nice, lots of room with beautiful touches and an exceptional bathroom. Ti begin with, the common areas felt a little sketchy, 1st Floor stairs accessible from outside (service access?), unit not fully cleaned (spots on mirror, hair on floor), had to wait for fuse box electric repair, and a/c unit barely kept the unit cool which made for a VERY uncomfortable night.

The air-conditioning was a bit noisy but my partner slept fine and so did I when I had ear plugs in. A couple of times after being in the shower for a while the water went cold but it was only when I was washing my hair and having a longer shower.

Once inside the apartment you would be absolutely delighted with the modern and comfortable feel of the apartment. Beds were so comfortable, bathroom luxurious and you cannot beat the location. Walking distance to everything and such a secure location. Would highly recommend this if you wish to stay in Athens City Centre. And the hosts were so lovely and easy to communicate with, always willing to accomodate every need. Nothing not to like

• Erminio (10/5): great value for the price. Location # 1. - The owner Andreas was very responsive. We flew in at 6:30 am and messaged him to see if we could drop off the bags before check in. He did arrange the earliest possible drop off time possible which was 11:00 am. Check in 1:00 pm. We were hoping for earlier, but understood the limitations based on the class of room we booked. The room itself exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and especially location. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay where the action of Athens is. My only wish is that hotels in this area might join together, pool some resources and arrange early baggage drop off for a fee. Maybe using a third party.

This did mean that the road was a little noisy in the evening, but nothing too disturbing. Communication from the owner was excellent, including a video of how to get into the accommodation, and they were happy to help with any queries we had. They even made arrangements for us to store our luggage so we could enjoy our final day in Athens. A small dustpan & brush would have been useful, to keep the floor clean - I have long hair and it tends to get everywhere! :-)
