• Camms (6/5): Not the best house I have stayed at - Location Could not sit on the couch as it was dirty, had to cover with a sheet, It is not a 5 bedroom house, 4 bedroom with a study
• Carmel (6/5): It was great for our family catch-up and was central to where our birthday party was. - Location was good for us as we had family near by. We booked for 9 people and the house only catered for 8 people.
• Georgina (1/5): PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING - Location was great for our needs. We spent 2 nights out of our 3 night stay at this property without access to hot water and cooking facilities due to a gas leak, after staying awake until early morning waiting for a plumber on our first night it was advised this was the responsibility of the service provider to fix, we had to chase the problem several times as there was minimal communication from the owner. The problem was only fixed the afternoon prior to our checkout. The property was presented in an extremely poor manner and had obviously not been cleaned. Our children were unable to use the backyard advertised as the grass was not mown and there was rubbish and broken items scattered through the yard. These issues were presented to booking.com and the owners representative on the first night when addressing the gas leak however were not rectified. It was advertised as a 5-bedroom property with a double bed in each room, however, the fifth bedroom had 2 small folding beds one of which was broken and unable to used, there was also a lack of heating/cooling in this room due to a coathanger being jammed into the unit on the wall. Unfortunately, we were unable to find alternative accommodation that was suitable for our needs without large financial impact. Owner has shown minimal care for the issues presented to them and has now ceased communication when asking for an appropriate refund for our stay. I would not recommend staying at this property.
