• Arvind (10/5): Great location and value within Old Quarter coupled with a very responsive host. - I liked the clear instructions to get the keys and get into the room. It was much faster than a hotel lobby - it was most useful after a long travel. Document collection at a later point saved a lot of hassle during check-in. It was a narrow climb through the stairs to the room. Card payments were not supported which I would have liked.

Clear directions given so that it could be found. Luggage storage available. Pictures provided were accurate. The room felt safe. Travel agent and massage/ nails operate out of ground level. Q Laundry two doors down wash and fold for 40000VND per kg.. same day service. Everyone was so very nice. A man helped hubby carry luggage upstairs. Stairs to all levels are steep and narrow. No elevator. Carefully consider if right for you. It discouraged us from returning regularly to our room to rest due to the effort required to climb them each time. We were on the 4 th floor and not so young anymore. Forced exercise however may be a good thing for our health. Room had no coffee or breakfast supplied. Consider this when evaluating room value in comparison to what other options are available with breakfast supplied. The room has no safe.

• Jel (8/5): Accessible and cozy - Great location since landmarks are a walking distance. Room and bed are cozy, and other amenities (tissues, hairdryer) are stored in the cabinets. My stay is very comfortable. The stairs are pretty narrow so it's quite a hassle to bring my luggages up-down the stairs. The door lock seems old since it's part of the old building. Was a bit tricky the first time to get it locked. I also came with the toilet not really cleaned, so I had to flush the dust out myself.

It’s run by a warm-hearted family who went above and beyond to help with everything I needed and shared all the information I was looking for. There’s also a laundry service available right downstairs. You’re right in the heart of the Old Quarter, so it can get a bit noisy early in the morning but personally, I didn’t find it too disturbing. They also thoughtfully provide earplugs just in case.
• Paul (10/5): Tracys Family is Amazing - A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Hanoi I had a wonderful time at Tracy’s apartment in the Old Quarter. The self-check-in was easy, and I still felt warmly welcomed by her kind parents. Tracy is an amazing, flexible host with great communication. The apartment is clean, comfy, and well-equipped with both A/C and a fan. I especially loved the cozy window bench and the enclosed rooftop terrace—such a peaceful spot with great views! For the price, location, and comfort, this place is a true gem. Highly recommended!
• Lucia (5/5): Good location, room size and bed is comfy. But facilities and cleanliness are below par. - Size of the room is good. Location excellent. Host communication to get keys are also good, bed is comfortable and shower is good. The room has a bad smell when you first open the door. The hot water kettle is dirty. The bathroom mirror and counter looks like it has not been cleaned from the last use. The window is facing other hotel rooms so it is not possible yo open the curtains without lost of privacy.

• Trang (8/5): Nice little place, a bit noisy - The place is clean, spacious and good location. The staff is also very helpful. I forgot my phone charger there, and they keep it for me. The downstairs is a tourist office. The lady at the office is very nice but she has a little kid who screams all the time. It was very noisy. They also shouted at each other very late in the night (2 - 3 in the morning) which kept me awake. The owner provided an ear-plug though which helped.

• Roger (8/5): Good value and location. - The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from the lake and the Old Town, but not noisy. The room is older but clean and comfortable and a reasonable size. There was a good fridge and TV in the room. Everything worked well. The only issue is that there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow and winding, to get my medium suitcase up and down to the 4th floor wasn’t easy.

• Costanza (10/5): I would come back - The room was exactly like in the photos, the location super central in the old quarter. The street is quite calm, the noise comes from the neighbouring streets, but I didn’t find it excessive, earplugs would solve the problem also for light sleepers. The owner was extremely lovely and quick in responding, I suggest to write them on WhatsApp the day before the arrival, to have more detailed information on the exact location. After a 24 hour flight it was a great place where to finally rest.
• Tuck (9/5): Rustic old world charm room that provides a glimpse of the world passing by the Old Quarter of Hanoi - Location is fantastic in the Old Quarter within 3 - 5 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph Cathedral. In the immediate vicinity are numerous eateries, cafes, health spas and convenience stores. Within a 5 - 10 minutes walk are even more of such conveniences and souvenir shops, clothing stores, etc. I love the self-contained room,, the rustic furniture and old world charm decor and is very spacious. The room itself is very clean, the mattress comfortable and bathroom very clean too. Basic toiletries are provided. The huge windows gives guests a glimpse of the everyday life of local Hanoians allowing one to soak in and absorb the local culture, atmosphere n environment of Hanoi. My recommendation is to get a road on the 2nd floor which will be excellent to sit idly by the window with coffee in hand to watch and observe the daily activities of local residents. What a relaxing and interesting way to spend one's holiday in Hanoi. The raised wooden platform beside the window and next to the bed provides a seating area for guests to sit comfortably and watch the world go by. For entertainment, a TV is available with pre-signed in Netflix allowing guests to watch the various movies and dramas for a change after sitting hours in front of tge the large windows A word of caution though, the staircase is steep n narrow. For elderly guests or those with huge luggage, it could be very challenging to bring up one's especially if staying on Level 4 or 5. But the Owner operator readily assists in such a situation. However, please do provide prior notice especially when checking out so that the Owner could arrange to be there to provide the necessary assistance. An added convenience would be the provision of a small face or hand towel as well as a day curtain for privacy purposes. For guests coming to stay for the 1st time, do take note that the property is housed in the same building as Mimi Spa as well as a tour agent operating on the Ground Floor.

The bed was also comfy and everything was clean. The host was also so helpful and friendly! The room walls are thin and even though it is a quieter side street it can get busy at night. But it didnt bother us that much, it is gonna be a vit loud anywhere in the old quarter.

The host was accommodating of our arrival time. There was a very strong smell of urine from the towels; we were unable to use them and I had to use a pillow case to dry after my shower. The room had a smell of damp or a blocked drain. It seems that WiFi was available, but no password was provided to us. The main shower head was broken and sprayed away

Lots of food places nearby too. The room was spacious and clean and amenities are provided. The street isnt very noisy but earplugs are available. The view from the window is good, a great place to sit and watch the street. Tracy was very gracious and kind in checking up on us during our stay. Would stay here again definitely.

On something of a side street so noise isn't as bad as the rest of the old town either. Very nice to sit in the window and watch the rain

Just inside bao khan street, which is a small side street right near the lake, and the room is big and comfortable, and feels more like a small apartment which gives you such a special experience while staying there. The owner and the manager were so nice and helpful, and was available mostly all day for every little question or request. Really wish i could comeback. It's a little bit noisy down the street, which makes sense as its located in the city center. And even in that aspect, the owner came over and brought me earplugs which was very helpful.

• Akshaya (10/5): Exceptional - It's a lovely place to stay, with excellent maintenance and aesthetics. The location is perfect too, and the host is very prompt in support on messages. There's nothing to complain about really.
• Kazuyo (9/5): Superb - The room was just what I need when I stay in Hanoi. Plenty Cafes, restaurants, travel office around there. Most of main attraction/sightseeing places are walking distance. It wouldn’t be as noisy as in staying in old quarter but road coming from lake/old quarter was busy (not noisy ) opened spa shops etc so I felt safe to walk back to the room. It is right next to old quarter so it was handy for more choice food & buzz if I want & tour bus can pick me up even staying flat/apartment ( big name hotel around here ) .Host response the message quickly & very helpful. If I come to Hanoi , definitely I would stay here again. Kettle in the room was hand to make drinking water. It would even better if there were hot drink cups. Net curtains would be nice as facing to room opposite hotel.
• Inez (9/5): Amazing, cozy, would stay here again - the property was lovely, the room was quite large. everything was clean, with an added bonus of a fridge and kettle as well as the small shared kitchen on the top floor. The staff/hosts were so kind and when our bidet broke they were quick to fix it. The location was good for those interested in the more touristy side, but we had a lot of fun walking and finding small street stands nearby. Also it’s close by to a few supermarkets and ATMs. it was a little loud during the night and day but nothing unbearable. the steps were steep but once you get used to them they are fine. The aircon is louder than some.
• Vasilisa (10/5): Exceptional - It is a lovely place in the heart of Old Town, close to the small central lake. Very clean. Loved it! The hosts are the nicest people, always there to assist if you need anything. Would definitely stay there again.
• Weng (8/5): Very good - I like the location which it wasn’t nosy at night and a walking distance to everywhere. Love the room!! The owners are friendly and allowed me to check in 1hr earlier and they do accept credit card payment. Not sure why but the hot water wasn’t constant so I had to take a quick bath only. It had no lift and the stairs is quite narrow when I had to bring my luggage, so do take note.
