Guest Reviews
- Paris T. (9/5): A real gem of a place - Very well designed. Spacious, light and airy, cosy and comfortable corner sofa which easily converts into a good sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen with ample surfaces for food preparations and tons of pots and pans and utensils. Two large drawfulls of every spice conceivable, a large fridge and large sink area. A folded dinner table with an office chair which can be used as an office space looking into a huge garden space! The bedroom is big with a comfortable bed and mattress and an enormous mirrored wardrobe. The bathroom has a large bath with a shower unit too. Less than a ten minute walk to Kennington underground station standing on the border of zones one and two which provides connections to most places of interest in London in a matter of just a few minutes and a less than 5 minute walk to the charming Kennington Park. Right across the road there is a newsagents where you can buy a lot of essentials, a pharmacy, a small hardware shop, a dry cleaners and a burger van. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and the property is also a twelve minute walk to Walworth Road where one can find plenty of shops, an excellent 24 hour Turkish grocers, restaurants and the cheap and busy East Street Market. The newly gentrified area of Elephant and Castle with its excellent restaurants and bus connections to every part of London is a 15 minute walk away too. . Highly recommended. The only thing missing was a microwave oven.

- Simcock (10/5): - Washing machine, cooking and everything u need and TV, sofa, and a comfy bed Nothing
- Mark (7/5): - Spacious and clean. Good value for London Shower head can't be set easily - missing rubber gasket so just falls down.
Bedroom could do with a chair or table to put suitcase on.

- Zachary (1/5): Worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had - Nothing Filthy when we arrived
Stunk of drugs
Back door was wide open upon arrival
Rubbish left from previous occupants
Washing left in dryer
Ash on tables from drug smoking
Hair everywhere
Random people knocking on door at 3am
No sense of safety so left first thing next morning
- Nabil (10/5): Relaxed from entry to exit - Home from home. Absolutely loved our stay here, for once it had absolutely everything we needed, and the flat is great, perfect layout and large rooms Nothing
- Vk (4/5): Frustrating, but typical for London - The host responded immediately to the messages, strong wifi, grocery store nearby Dirty apartment from the bathroom to the kitchenware, strong damp smell, disgusting clogged bathtub drain, not even a clothes hanger, inappropriate sheets for the sofa bed, cigarette butts everywhere on the terrace as there was no ashtray, we were only left with one large towel and had to contact the host for a small second one, there was no hand soap in the toilet, only a roll of toilet paper was offered. The washing machine was running when we entered, 15 min from the underground station
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Nice little place, in an ideal location for our needs. Yes, there are a few little bits & pieces that could use some attention. The wardrobe door had come off its runner, which prevented it from being used, but this didn't bother me as I was only staying one night. Eveything you'd need for a short stay was present and it was very comfortable. No complaints about anything.
- Christopher (2/5): Great location but for what you get the price is too high - The location Didn’t have a microwave or ironing board. The person managing the property or owner was very unresponsive. Called and texted him many times with no reply. Even rejected my call and no call back. When he finally did pick up he was very unhelpful when I had a problem with the TV. Felt like I was bothering him. The wardrobe can’t be used there is a screw at the top that stops you from opening it
- Kresoo (8/5): Very good -
- Oxford (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nerina (4/5): Disappointing - Host was ok, letting us check- in early- leave our suitcases.
Location is was ok as well. There was a lot of mold in the apartment, almost unbreathable. Especially in the living room area.
- Tenzing (9/5): We had a pleasant stay and would love to visit again in the future. - The cleanliness and location. Nothing at all.
- Suhaila (1/5): Disappointed.Didn’t even stay - had to book Premier Inn! - I booked this property for a 3 day short trip and had a nightmare once I arrived at the place.
Firstly, when I opened the door and entered, it had a bad stench. It was so bad that I got a headache right away.
I checked the place before settling in but to my surprise the place was worse than I had imagined it to be based on the images provided by the owner.
It seemed like there were people living at the property and had vacated before we arrived. There were clothes hanging that was covered and hidden in the hall. The bedroom also had personal belongings and stuff stored under the bed. The cupboards were stuck and had clothes hanging in it. There were also towels and apparels hanging on the side cupboard when I opened it.
The property does not uphold any standards of health and safety as there were moulds on the walls and I was inhaling the air in there for a good 30mins. This a serious health hazard and can potentially lead to serious illness.
The cleanliness of this property is hugely questionable. I saw dust on candle and even on top of heater. The side of the doors and windows had chipped off paint on them and it was really unsightly to look at. They even left a vase with murky water and wilted flowers in it.
The garden appears to be left unattended for a long time as it had turned to be bush and can no longer be used as a patio. There were also personal letters stored in the boxes and in the kitchen cabinet.
The images provided by the owner on booking.com does not resemble anything similar to the property that I entered.
This is definitely a scam and the owner should take responsibility to improve the quality of property.
- Mallory (4/5): Room for Improvement - We wrote a long detailed review for the owner, so hopefully they address the issues we pointed out, because the place would be worth it then. But as it is, it's not suitable for 4 people and barely suitable for 2 at that price. Clothes were drying in a quartered off part of the living room, so everything smelled and felt damp, there were two drawers that fell off the handles, exposed wires by the bathroom, the sofa bed moved a lot and separated, and the sheets, towels, etc all seemed old and like they hadn't been taken out in a while. In addition, thanks to the closet being half nailed shut, and there being no soap or shower gel, we felt very out of place and as if we were in someone's apartment and not a property.
- Aaliyah (10/5): Such a lovely little apartment, felt so homely, loved the vibe ❤️ -
- April (3/5): Good location; pretty minimal and smelly experience. - Convenient location. Landlord answered when I had a question Smelled like smoke—bad! When I arrived after expected checkin time it wasn’t clean yet. When cleaners were done it was still not super clean. My sheets smelled badly and I they didn’t even supply me with a pillow or top sheet.
- Oresanya (7/5): Good - Clean, cozy apartment and nice environment nice location, with easy access to transport. Will definitely book again There is no microwave, I didn't need to cook but just to warm my food but found this a bit difficult because I had to boil hot water on the cooker with the food inside in which takes a longer time for the food to get warm.
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlienne (10/5): Lovely home and great value for money. - Very clean and tidy and felt like home! Shops directly opposite (chemist, londis, hair salon, gp surgery and a couple of others). Couldn't use the balcony/decking area as I'm asthmatic and it stunk of cannabis out the back. However this was clearly not down to the owner of the property we stayed in.
- Doris (10/5): Best host so far - Amazing host! Alessio you are wonderful! We will definitely see you again. Thanks for everything
- James (10/5): This accommodation represents terrific value for its central location in London - Leicester Square is just a few stops a - Great location for cricket fans, about half a mile from Oval. Clean, secure and contemporary with all the facilities you need. Nothing
