• Barış (9/5): - Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt was goed en er was volop keuze. Ik voelde me er echt thuis. De locatie is ook ideaal: met de bus ben je zo in North Greenwich. Over de eigenaar (Marc) wil ik nog iets extra’s zeggen: wat een fantastische man! Hij staat altijd voor je klaar wanneer dat nodig is. Alle informatie hebben we duidelijk en uitgebreid van hem gekregen. Ik zal deze accommodatie zeker aan iedereen aanraden. De gratis parkeergelegenheid was ook een groot pluspunt: de auto kan gewoon voor de deur staan en met de bus of metro ben je snel in het centrum. Marc, nogmaals bedankt voor je gastvrijheid en alle informatie! Het heeft wel wat vernieuwing nodig. Bedden waren te klein. Maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding gewoon prima!!!

What made this property even more special was the history surrounding the home. The owner of this property, Marc, explained the history of the town and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay possible. I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Greenwich and Blackheath. Spacious, well equipped, even breakfast was provided! The owner is an enthusiastic ‘tour guide’ sharing history of the area and useful info and tips.

Von dort aus kommt man sup - Der Vermieter war richtig top 👍🏾 Die Wohnung befindet sich im Keller. Die Tür, die auf dem Foto zu sehen ist, ist nicht der Wohnungseingang. Der tatsächliche Eingang ist die schwarze, kleine Tür links, die direkt in den Keller führt.

• Rose (8/5): An enjoyable stay - Beautiful wood flooring, kitchen is well equipped, fridge stocked with basics for our arrival. Host was extremely helpful and knowledgable about London with many recommendations. Despite its location on a busy road, the flat was extremely well sound-proofed, probably because it is a ‘below-stairs’ apartment. BTW, there’s a work-class fishmonger in Blackheath. The shower facilities for a family are not ideal, as one shower was inoperative.

• loretta.dittrich (10/5): - Die Wohnung an sich ist sehr geräumig und trotz dass sie nicht im Zentrum von London liegt, sehr zentral mit einer Bushaltestelle direkt um die Ecke, Supermarkt, Blackheath Village und Greenwich Park fußläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung hat alles, was das Herz begehrt, sogar frische Milch, Eier, Brot und Wasser war da. Der Gastgeber ist super hilfsbereit und hat sich die ganze Zelt darum gekümmert, dass es uns gut geht, uns zahlreiche Tipps gegeben, war jederzeit ansprechbar etc. Absolute Extra Klasse. Nichts.
• Pauline (8/5): A good choice - This was a very enjoyable break - the location was excellent for our purpose. I have rarely been to a property where the hosts have been so helpful and provided so much information. We were coming by different transport methods and Marc provided comprehensive information for each different option. He also advised re attractions, restaurants etc. Thank you. Our only (minor) negative comment is that in one of our guests (just over 5ft in height) had some difficulty in using either the bath or the shower because of the high step-in. However we understand that the hosts are intending to install a walk-in shower which will solve this problem.
• Steven (10/5): Marc’s attention to the details and enthusiasm combined with the simple yet elegant home made this a stay to remember! - The property was very easy to access because of Marc’s incredibly detailed instructions. Inside the flat, it was clean, elegant, yet still very homy. It was spacious, but not too large where it felt like you were too far away from people — we were able to congregate in the house easily. Marc was a wonderful host and provided us with the essentials and so much more (cereals, milk, bread, jam, etc.)! Truly, everything was amazing. If I had to force myself to think of something, there aren’t any tube stations that are a walkable distance from the property, but there is a bus stop that’s literally a one minute walk away that’ll give you access to more public transit options.

There is nothing I didn’t like it was perfect.

Marc was extremely helpful and always ready to answer any of our questions and even a very late check in. The place has everything, very quiet clean and lovely. A pleasant surprise was the groceries that were provided and saved us in the middle of the night when we just arrived. So thank you again, we well definitely recommend this place to our friends! The second bath didn't work, we were three people and hoped we wouldn't have to share the shower time

We hope to return. - The bread, milk, eggs, tea, coffee and other products which enabled us to have breakfast on the first morning. The outside space at the back of the apartment to sit surrounded by beautiful trees. The sofa beds in the large lounge area enabling five people to sleep in the apartment comfortably. The bath was not plumbed in one of the bathrooms. The only shower in the second bathroom was in a high bath so difficult to access for people with mobility problems. I understand the owner plans for a shower to go in one of the bathrooms which will make showering facilities more accessible.

Fully equipped kitchen, with fresh bread, milk, eggs, bottled water, tea, coffee, butter.. list goes on! Nice hot rain head shower, heating good, big flat screen tv, sofas comfy, little back yard area. 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms, 2 double beds, 2 sofa beds, another large sofa if needed could be used, plenty towels & bathroom toiletries. Would highly recommend and stay again.

• Sarah (10/5): Wonderful property - exceptional host. - Needed to book somewhere at short notice, and this delightful property popped up. I am so glad it did - it's a gem. I know the area well, and although the road is busy during rush hour, the traffic didn't disrupt the peace of this place at all. Marc is an exceptional host, and the apartment is well equipped with anything and everything a traveler might need. He also went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, and any minor issues with electrics/machines (inevitable in any property) were resolved within minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

So to arrive at this beautiful property and receive such a warm welcome was amazing! From the fantastic, well stocked property to the incredible location, this last minute booking quickly became one of the highlights of our 5 weeks of travelling. A huge 'thank you' to Marc for such a wonderful stay! Only that we had to leave to return home!

• Kyoko (10/5): Hospitality beyond 5 stars - Very good communication and a sense of hospitality throughout from reservation up to checkout! It felt like coming to an uncle’s home, relaxing and secure. The owner went far to make sure everything was okay, from travel tips to a warmed up room upon arrival. Arriving at night with three kids was daunting enough, but he had stocked the kitchen with enough food and veggies and eggs/milk to get us through our first days in peace. Very good high pressure hot shower (rarity in London!), good access to many bus stops, and beautiful surroundings. Would definitely come again! Nothing really. Maybe the sirens outside, but that’s nobody’s fault.

He, very generously, stocked cupboards and fridge with ground coffee, cereals, bread, fruit, bread…. The flat is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Location is ideal with plenty of public transport. Nothing.

The internet was very Poor. There were no mirrors or dressing tables in the bedrooms. Whilst we were aware of the 2nd bathroom not working, the main bath did not have a plug.

• Fiona (10/5): Perfect family stay: attentive host, great location, and a well-equipped, charming house - AMAZING - We only got to meet Marc in person during our stay. His wife's touch was clearly visible in the decor and style of the property, so I am sure she is as wonderful a person as Marc is. The level of attention to detail and the care put in to ensuring their guests are comfortable is something which really struck us. Marc was so eager to help us get our bearings and providing local knowledge on how to get around easily. He was also extremely available to help and make sure that we were happy. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Apart from the fabulous host(s), the lovely, very well equipped property, the house is located in a great area within easy walking distance to the park as well as being very well serviced by public transport. It is truly difficult to find something to write for this. The only slight drawback for us was that one of the baths was not working when we were there but this is not a shortcoming of the property as these things happen and it in no way dampened or marred our very positive experience.

Fabulous well stocked Miele kitchen with everything you could possibly need, not just a welcome basket but welcome cupboards and fridge full of Marks and Spencer groceries from bread,cereal, tins, condiments,spices fruit, veg, tea, cocoa and wonderful ground coffee to fresh ginger and garlic - home from home! Wonderful shower, comfy beds great wifi and private secure parking, Fantastic location… the list goes on. Thanks Marc for the fab memories. Will definitely be back! Nothing

• Sachin (10/5): Excellent Accommodation with a brilliant host - 1. The property in summary is very good. The kitchen has all modern equipment (lot of sauce pans and cutleries are available). Even though we were a group of 6 we were able to cook comfortably. 2. The bedrooms are spacious and have all the amenities needed. The living room has a home theatre. 3. We had a couple of issues with the Bathrooms but the host (Marc) addressed these issues immediately. 4. Marc is an excellent host (one of the best that I have come across). Any time we reported an issue with the property he addressed it immediately. He went out of his way couple of times to address our needs even without us asking for it. 5. The property is in a gorgeous location, so if you have time there is plenty to explore around the property (Greenwich Park etc). 6. There is a bus stop 100 metres from the house which made travelling into the city centre convenient. I don't think there is anything to be improved on the property. Just one thing to keep in mind is to reach to the city centre (Liverpool Street, London Bridge etc) you will have to use multiple public transports.
• Kelvin (9/5): Lovely Blackheath and Greenwich - Lovely and quiet surroundings, good place to explore Greenwich, docklands and East London. Spacious apartment, clean and cooking facilities. Host was friendly and gave us lots of advice and help. Getting to the flat involves some transport interchanges and a bit of time as it is in a spot between rail or tube stations but not very close, epecially if you need to get to central London. But it is accessible and good for a leisurely trip.

We strongly recommend this accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit. - I booked this accommodation due to it's location being near the start line of the London Marathon - I was participating in the marathon. Marc was around during our stay & we couldn't have asked for a better host. He couldn't do enough for me and my family. He was also very responsive to my messages prior to our stay and provided very detailed information - he was excellent. Our stay couldn't have been any better.

Two separate bathrooms a plus, and a very well appointed kitchen. Easy local transport. It could have been clearer that this is a basement flat, with a terrace adjoining the garden.

• Natasa (4/5): We expected much more - The owner was nice. The flat is equiped quite ok (kitchen, big TV) and very spacious. The owner let us use the parking plot also after the check-out, which we appreciated a lot. The pictures promised a lot more that it was in the reality. We chose this place mostly because of the nice periode architecture of the building, but in reality the fasade was under construction, so besides that it didn't look "lovely" we also had to make our way through the scaffolding to get to the apartment. The rest: the entrance corridor to the apartment is not finished yet, it is the basement appartment, details in the appartment like faucets in bathrooms are still work in progress. Since the appartment is an hour away of the city center, some written info on how to get to the city would be very useful (part of the given instruction was not right or we didn’t understand it right, so we ended up with four kids during the night at the wrong station with limited transport possibilities left). We probably wouldn't mind all of this that much if the price per night would be much lower, so we would expect less - but this way we considered it quite a bad value for the money payed.
• Alex (10/5): Hidden gem in Greenwich with comfortable accommodation to a high standard - This is an absolute gem of a property! A basement flat in Greenwich that has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate lounge, dining room and kitchen. Its fully equipped and decorated to a lovely standard with two comfortable sofa beds to mean it can sleep more than you think - our family of 5 had a very comfortable stay. Marc and Rachel were exceptional hosts providing us with so much information about the area as well as equipping the house with basic groceries in addition to the usual teas and coffees (oh and there is a proper coffee maker so those who love a home made cappuccino can drink coffee to their heat’s content!) There was absolutely nothing to not like!
• David (9/5): Superb - Nice, clean, comfortable apartment in great location between Greenwich and Blackheath. Host was very helpful with instructions and local public transport advice.
• Lynne (10/5): great stay. would recommend - close to Canary Wharf. easy to travel. close to shops and blackheath village
• Sophie (10/5): perfect - Marc was a fantastic host, gave us so much detailed information about getting to and in to the property. the property was so clean and so big it was perfect for what we wanted with everything we needed! Marc called to make sure we got in ok and had provided milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee. it’s a real hidden gem of a stay in London HIGHLY RECOMMEND
• Julian (9/5): Comfortable apartment, well located for Blackheath and Greenwich - Very comfortable apartment. The host went out of his way to make sure everything was good for us, and gave us some great local info.
• Kozelkova (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place near the Greenwich observatory
• Sarah-jayne (7/5): Good - Excellent host, available and more than helpful. Smart and tidy, comfy couches and beds, welcome essentials in the fridge. Parking a big plus. A work in progress in places, but will be stunning once finished. Some bedside lamps will be a useful addition.
