Guest Reviews
- jono (10/5): - The accomodation was perfect for what we needed. Only a short walk to central station. Woolies was close by for essential groceries.
Key cards were easy to access. Everything we needed was in the apartment and the most beautiful view of story bridge and the river.
- Kym (9/5): - Carpark is very tight
- Jayme (1/5): -
- Tania (6/5): Great stay! - It was a good location, spacious, clean, and communication with Alice was great. Clear instructions for check in. Allowed early check in which we really appreciated. We didn't have toilet paper and had to buy our own. Two key cards would've been helpful. It would've been nice to have some milk, salt and pepper available.
- Brian shipman (9/5): would be happy to stay again - the view was amazing the location had a Woolworths in walking distance and east access to the city wish the complex had its own bbq but wasn't a big deal we just rode to south bank
- Tushar (10/5): - The location was really good. Easy to get In & Out of the city. The place was perfect for a small family.
- Keely-Shaye (7/5): Great stay but need to work on communication - This was an amazing place to stay. We loved the location of the property and it was more spacious than we expected. Great view of the river. All the amenities that you need were available. Coffee and tea were provided as well as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We had to check in 30mins later than expected due to the cleaner running late and were not advised this would be the case. Not ideal when my family caught a really early flight into Brisbane and were looking forward to having somewhere to rest. Communication prior to 3pm would have been helpful so we could have accounted for the later check in. They were very kind and allowed us to check out later to make up for the later check in when I asked. Again there was an issue with communication and the cleaner showed up at 10am instead of 11am. Also the room was only set up for 3 guests instead of 4 that I had booked for. An extra towel was dropped the following day. The car park can be difficult to navigate if you are not a confident driver, especially with larger vehicles.
- Belinda (8/5): A lovely apartment, easy to get around the city, private and pleasant. - Beautiful apartment, very helpful owners . They got maintenance straight to us when the air conditioner would not heat. Very helpful! It was very cold! But that is no one’s fault, it was in need of maintenance once we left.
- Scott (2/5): not good. - not much, there was no heating, no dryer, the bed was very uncomfortable, we ended up sleeping on the sofa because it was more comfortable. when we spoke to the owner of the room about the heating situation we received no help. the location was ok. there was no heating, no dryer, the bed was very uncomfortable, we ended up sleeping on the sofa because it was more comfortable. when we spoke to the owner of the room about the heating situation we received no help.

- Rhiarn (4/5): Good location, poor communication and support if issue arises. - The location was ideal and the room was clean and tidy. The included parking spot is great. We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived there was only 1 bed and 2 towels. I called the provided number around 430pm to request some sheets to make up the fold out couch and 2 more towels. We were told we needed to pay a call out fee of over $60 or otherwise we wouldnt get the sheets or towels. Finally after multiple attempts made to communicate with the owner, and explaining that they had confirmed themselves we had four people on the booking, they agreed to bring us our linen. At 9pm they delivered the linen. It was very difficult and frustrating to communicate with the owner and after a long day of travel with two kids it was not ideal.
- Heath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Loren (8/5): Great little apartment! - The location and view are fantastic! Only a few blocks from the Fortitude Music Hall, which is what I needed. The Wharf is very close and Westfield Chermside is only about 20 mins.
Great little apartment, very clean and quiet!! The host has done a great job with presentation and cleanliness. 👏
Most of the basics needed were supplied, such as dishwasher and laundry detergent, extra toilet roll, nice soaps/shampoo to use during stay instead of the usual tiny samples, etc.
Ducted aircon and blockout curtains made it very comfy. When my code didn't work to collect my key cards, the host responded very quickly and was very polite and helpful.
Nice touches like a large amount of supplied coffee and tea sachets and a box of tissues add to the welcome.
Apart from some very minor things that I'm sure the host is working on, this is an excellent holiday apt with potential to be very popular! Only very minor things! It's a new listing so there will be glitches, that's normal.
We weren't supplied with enough linen BUT I travel with extras anyway, so it wasn't an issue for me specifically. I would have messaged the host if it had been a problem.
The initial problem with the code not working at the lock box was fixed over the phone very quickly.
The height restrictions in the carpark are clear on everything (for a good reason!!), but maybe add a note about width and length too - my Kia Grand Carnival only just fit up and down the ramps to the 4th floor of the carpark, so anything bigger might struggle. The allocated park itself was fine though.
My GPS kept glitching when trying to find the place just because of all the little laneways, so if you keep that in mind and find Perry Lane you'll be ok.
To add to previous reviews, if anyone can't work out the shower/bath mixer, pull the little gold knob forward for shower and push back for bath. 😊
- Moses (9/5): lovely place to stay and to my expectation - quiet and clean it was ok
- Meredith (7/5): Great clean apartment but disappointing service! - Very pleased on entering the apartment with a nice river view.
It was clean and tidy and a well equipped kitchen....only missing a dishcloth.
Well stocked with amenities.
No hand towels and one face cloth provided. Problems to get the apartment keys as we had been sent the wrong access code for the keylocker.
Calls to agent fixed this. Next hiccup was that the keys were not working, so we had to go to the reception ( not supposed to approach them with this rental)
Then, phone calls to the agents to get them to verify and the staff were then able to activate keys for our access. This staff member was most accommating and helpful.
No instructions on how to operate the television or any appliances in kitchen.
There are no instructions on rubbish disposal and rules.
The oven rack was very dirty and in need of a good scrub.
The most disappointing experience was of the bathroom.
The diversion knob to operate the shower over the bath tub was completely seized up and would not move no matter how hard we tried. We do know how these systems operate !
Several phone calls and videos to the 'owner'was to no avail...nothing constructive was done to remedy the situation and so our two night stay in most hot weather was very unpleasant, NOT being able to have a refreshing shower!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
They were informed we were not able to 'take a bath', only shower.
Surely, some maintenance person should have been dispatched to remedy the problem, for our comfort and what we had paid for in the tarrif... a workable private bathroom!
We wasted time sitting there awaiting for this to occur.
We stayed during the week...NOT a weekend.
Our last communication was completely ignored.so we can only suggest that they were happy that we left the apartment and were no longer a problem to deal with.
MOST disgruntled tenants....all because of a maintenance issue!!
We had no issues in leaving the apartment and the key lock system.
One last item ...the 'blurb' for the apartment reads that the pool is 'private' for the apartment, but it was, of course, for the complex.
- Merry (1/5): Would never suggest booking this apartment and the charge for that blankethey thjnk we damaged cost more then the room i - Room was nice they had the pull out sofa bed set up for us. We had trouble with the keycards being expired..couldn’t get into the parking spot when we finally got to the parking spot there was a bollard there so we couldn’t park the car..then tried getting i to our apartment and we couldn’t get in..after 1and a half hours we finally managed to get the front desk tk help up out.
Then on the last day we had a fire evacuation.cause there was smoke coming out of the carpark had to walk down 21floors.
Ater it was all clear we tried to get into the room to check but the keydcards stopped working.
They said we used extra linen which there were none and damaged their blanket which we had nothing black or anything that looks like what’s on the blanket to do that.
- Jacob (4/5): It was ok - Room was comfortable The building stinks really badly and I wouldn’t stay here again
Was given keys to the wrong room and was let into someone else’s apartment where they were living. Really poor.
- Evee (8/5): Very good - Fantastic views and location. The apartment building was quiet and easy to access. The shower was confusing and instructions about how to switch between the shower rose and bath would have been useful. There were no instructions for any of the appliances but these are minor issues in the scheme of things as overall it's a great little apartment and fantastic view.
- Blake (9/5): Superb - Great value for money. Great comfy room with a good view Email showed a different room number than the key
- Kristy (8/5): Clean apartment in a great location in the City - Location was good - the bed was comfortable as well.
Shampoo, Condition and body wash was provided...good quality It was hard to understand the instructions on how to get the keys. Pictures were provided but a better explanation would have helped. There were no tissues or (small) milk for a cup of Tea in the morning. But overall the place was super clean and if I stay next time I'll be bringing my own milk and I'll know where to get the keys with no hassles :)
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
