• Kate (3/5): disappointed - the only think i like was it’s cheap… the actual place was totally different from the photos on the website. the place was old and when i came inside the apartment there was an unpleasant smell all over the place. toilettries were not provided but it was mentioned on the website that it will be provided.

No one answered my calls or messages. After 40 minutes of waiting, an employee arrived who was very surprised to see us and said that he didn't know about our check-in. When we entered the room, we saw that the room was not cleaned, the bed linen had not been changed and there were a lot of dirty dishes in the kitchen. Three hours later they contacted me, apologized and said that they

• Queenlizy (1/5): In summary, Moe's place does not meet the standard of expectation on booking.com. It feels unsafe. - This place has nothing good to write about. The environment is unkept in a wierd looking neighborhood. Inside of the building is dirty and smells horrible. this place is substandard to be listed on booking.com because it does not meet the basic criteria to accomodate people. Everything about this place is horrible.

• Natalia (4/5): No comforts of home - The room was clean. Very unwelcoming. Greeted at the door and questioned about the booking then given a key and that was it. The room was just ok. A bed and a tv. No dresser or anywhere to put anything. One towel was left on the bed. The kitchen was dirty. The shower creeks and the curtain falls down when you tried to use it. In the morning there was no toilet paper so bring your own. The house was full and the smell from the kitchen beside our door was horrible first thing in the morning. Definitely no comforts. No air conditioning just a fan at the end of the bed. You have to use your own streaming on the tv and no wifi password provided. Not worth it.

• Onaadigun (6/5): Great location - The location was great. It was very close to the International Centre and to the airport. The bed is comfortable, with a clean room and a clean bathroom. And the staff were kind and relatable.. I didn't like the fact that there was no closet and it was not ensuite. We had to place our luggage on the floor. The room we were directed to stay on arrival has no washroom. We had to go upstairs to use the washroom, which was not convenient. After expressing our displeasure, the manager moved us to another room which was close to the washroom when it became vacant after 2 days. It would be great if the kitchen could be cleaned, especially the refrigerator. It was really an eye sore.

• Ada (1/5): Terrible, don’t go there! - Only good thing is the location close to the airport. I don’t mind a place which is not perfectly clean and looking used for a lower price. I’ve traveled a lot, but never experienced that! My room was very, very dirty (dirt on the ground, on table and chair, sheets are smelly and dirty too, bathroom and kitchen extremely dirty!!!), and I’m not talking about a bit of dust under the bed or in a corner. I PAID for this place so I expect at least a basic cleanliness. I don’t expect to eat from the floor, but this is definitely too much! I didn’t ask the owner to clean the room, because I didn’t feel safe staying there as a woman by myself, plus the whole house needed a deep clean, so there was no chance of waiting an hour and getting a clean place. I rather booked another place and asked the owner to refund my money, but he doesn’t reply. I called the number which is in the profile, but this number seems so be from another person. Going by other recommendations I’m not the only person with this experience. I didn’t get any info about the door code or Wi-Fi password.

• Herbert (2/5): Mo's place is not well organized and communication is lacking. Not as expected. - Location is fairly close to the international airport. I had indicated to arrive between 3 and 4 PM and the owner confirmed having received this message. However upon my arrival there was no owner at the location and no one opened the door. The neighbors did not know anything about how to contact the owners. I waited in the cold weather outside. After some time I was let inside by a guest that was leaving/going outside. I continued waiting inside and till 4 PM nobody was there to receive me. I came from curacao and had no phone or internet communication possibility in order to contact the owner. Wifi inside the house had password that was unknown to me and unknown to the guest I had talked to. After a while I went to a nearby shopping center (indicated by one of the guests) in order to find a wifi and be able to call the owner and get info needed for the stay at Mo's place. On booking.com I paid for a room with own toilet and shower.. however this was not the case when I talked to the owner. However the owner "allowed" me to use the only room with own toilet and shower. Of the other rooms only one was clean the other one was not cleaned .. however offered as clean. I was lucky the place was not fully booked and I could choose a room. The toilet in the room was jammed with paper and I had to call the owner (now I had received the wifi code) .. in order for him to send somebody to unplug the toilet. Apparently the rooms are not well checked/ cleaned / prepared before renting out. Mo's should be reorganized and communication be improved before continuing to offer lodging to guests.

• Samanta (8/5): Good Stay - It is close to the airport, which was good for me as I was laying over for the night. It was clean and tidy for the most part. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was ample closet space. My flight arrived after check in hours, but they were willing to work with the late hour. No problems. Would book again next time I'm staying overnight in Toronto.
