Husena (8/5): Very good - The location is absolutely wonderful. It's walking distance to both Taksim and Karaköy where we often visited for really good food. It's also super close to the public transportation. It is slightly uphill from the Tophane station though but it's not a big deal at all considering all other places I've stayed in Istanbul. The washing and drying machines work just fine which was important for a 2 week vacation. The TV is also good for movie nights. Kitchen might look small but it's okay with the extention, thought not for elaborate meals. I think the cleaning up after the last guests should be taken more seriously and the prep for the coming guests should be taken into consideration when restocking the apartment. There were some clothes left in the washing machine and I noticed the shower wasn't very clean. They did send us the detergent and toiletries, however it was a little delayed. I think the communication should also be improved. Also, I found the lighting in the bathroom insufficient for doing makeup. Maybe bring a makeup mirror with its own light for longer stays.
