Guest Reviews
- GEORGIOS (8/5): -
- Milan (9/5): - The host was realy nice
- George (4/5): - Location Not cleaned
- Tetiana (10/5): - Great location in a safe area. There are many excellent restaurants just downstairs, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable.
The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness. The floors were quite dirty, so it would be great if more attention was paid to cleaning.
Overall, everything was great and we had a lovely stay.
- Gorana (5/5): There is a lot of room for improvement, but it’s clear that no real effort is being made. The floors were not just uncle - Location The cleanliness and heating
- Paolo Allevi (9/5): -
- Kostas (7/5): - Location great, nice neighborhood. Host very good, easy to contact.
- Xrusa (7/5): - Ότι ήταν στο κέντρο Όλα καλα
- KOSTANTINOS (9/5): - Great as usual. see you again next year
- Kostanda (10/5): - The location was perfect and the apartment was great ☺️
- Glenn (10/5): Too short - Great location very clean. Great host can’t fault it
- Davedd (8/5): Great location. Comfy stay with family. - Excellent location, restaurants just outside as well the museum. Clean accommodation. The room was made ready for family (sofa bed open and ready for kids). The toilet even had a bidet function. Good Wifi. Nice compact apartment. One AC remote not working, but was not a big deal as the other room remote was used instead. The toilet seat could be a solid one rather than flexible in order to use the bidet function comfortably.
- Brunosh (10/5): - Great renovated apartment in the center of Athens. Great living room/kitchen area, spacious bedroom, nice bathroom, and even little balconies with a little view to the Parthenon (which we didn’t even noticed when booking, so it was a very nice surprise!). Very close to Acropolis and Acropolis metro station, so really central. The check in is completely autonomous and very easy. Although I didn’t meet the host, they were always in contact to check if everything was ok, which was great. Nothing much else to say, it was the perfect stay in central Athens.
- Irene (10/5): -
- Elisa (10/5): Bellissimo - Posizione e finiture
- Nikki (10/5): -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Great location near to the acropolis and good transport links.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - very nice location, 5 min from acropoli metro station (safe neighbourhood). Very good gelateria and restaurant in 1 min walking distance. the elevator is pretty small and not the newest, but it is part of living in the old town
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Nikolina (10/5): I’ll be back here 😊 - Easy communication with owner. Great explanations how to pick up keys. Instructions for apartment. From balcony You can see akropola. Short distance to Akropola and metro. Central
but quait. I’ve liked everything.
- Yusuf (7/5): Good - The location of the property is excellent, with walking access to all key attractions. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Acropolis Museum.
The hosts have great communication and are very responsive, which is a big plus.
The area is surrounded by markets and fantastic restaurants, making it very convenient. Heating was only available through the air conditioner, which wasn’t sufficient for the cold weather in November.
Therefore, the bathroom was cold, and the apartment floor was extremely chilly with no slippers provided. We had to wear shoes indoors, which was uncomfortable.
Despite a €45 cleaning fee, towels were not changed, and no cleaning service was provided during the 4-night stay.
- Sandra (8/5): The apartment was a really good choice for accessability. Compact and clean. - Location was excellent.
Modern decor & well lit.
Good hot water. Excellent lighting for reading in bed.
The lift worked well. Instructions for the cooktop, which I could not get to work, would have been helpful.
I had to cook in the microwave which was a bit hit & miss as all in Greek.
Tea towels or at least a draining rack for washed crockery would have also been good.
A bath mat in the bathroom, rather than using a hand towel.
- Stella (9/5): A perfect appartment in an ideal area - The perfect and the most safe area to leave in Athens. Next to metro station, to Acropolis museum, to Acropolis ,to Placa and the most interesting historical places in Athens with very interesting restaurants and cafes around. The appartment is very clean with all equipment you need for a short stay. I suggest it. The appartment needs curtains just to be an ideal place to stay.
- Inna (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment with everything you need for comfortable stay. Super clean. The host is very accommodating.
- Xingyu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marifer (9/5): Comfortable place with a nice view to the Acropoli. - The place is very well located, with a nice view of the Acropolis from my balcony. The beds are really comfy and everything is sparkling clean. Having the instructions of the house in a more visible place. I was not notified that we had to turn on the heating for water and my first shower there was freezing cold water.
- Matina (6/5): Mixed feelings - Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm and clean space situated conveniently in the heart of Athens, with easy access to the subway and a charming side view of the Acropolis from the small balcony. The owner even accommodated our request for an early check-in, which was appreciated. Our stay at the apartment left us with mixed feelings.
Our overall experience was marred by several shortcomings.
Despite confirming the accommodation's pet-friendly policy, the owner's uncertainty about allowing our medium-sized dog raised concerns. While Greek law supports pet ownership in multi-unit buildings under specific conditions, the owner's lack of clarity on this matter was disconcerting,so we decide not to bring our pet after all.
Communication with the owner and the associated travel team was disappointing.
Responses were slow, which was sort of frustrating.
During our stay, we encountered an issue with the shower drain. Initially, everything seemed fine, but as we used the shower, we noticed that the water wasn't draining properly. Instead, it accumulated, resulting in a flooded shower floor. The water took several minutes to drain. We promptly informed the owner about the problem at some point in the afternoon of that day, hoping for a quick resolution to this inconvenience and additionally asked him for a bathroom mat to prevent making a mess after stepping out of the shower, as well as some extra pillowcases. We appreciate that he did provide us with these the morning after.
Furthermore, the unexpected visit from a technician, without prior notice, to address maintenance issues added to the disorganized nature of our experience. The lack of proactive communication regarding such matters was concerning. To our surprise, the technician also fixed another issue with the kitchen sink that we weren't aware of before addressing the shower drain.
Moreover, the absence of a cleaning service or provisions for self-cleaning, coupled with the unavailability of extra sheets and towels, as well as the lack of essential amenities like a drying rack and clothes-hanging facilities, left us feeling unattended to throughout our six-day stay.
- Tasos (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very nice and clean. Had everything I needed. Great location very close to metro station.
The response to my questions was very quick.
I would certainly recommend this house and I'm looking forward to staying again -
