And I found this out when I arrived at 0300 in the morning with my family of 5, and 2 dogs after driving all the way from Melbourne over night. • Mark (7/5): - Remove the christmas tree, fake flowers and table setting. The crockery set on the table should be in the cupboards. When you want to use the table for other things then we have to remove and put them in the cupboards. The tree seems to be stored there for the owners, Fake flowers on flat surfaces are a nuisance.

• Jarrard (1/5): Pet Owners Beware - The Owner will try to extort $150 pet fee outside of the Booking.com System - I liked the look of the place for a quick overnight stop whilst driving from Brisbane to Melbourne. The listing states that the property is pet friendly! That's where the positives end. I booked the place fully expecting a pet fee. What I didn't expect was not receiving that information either via message or on the invoice. Instead, I received a formal confirmation email specifically stating that there would be no fee, as we only planned on a single, short, overnight stop whilst driving from Brisbane to Melbourne. Sounded Great! Then, just hours from arriving on-site, I received a message that a further $150 pet fee would be payable via PayID outside of the Booking.com invoicing System, before we would be given the key code. I then asked the owner to cancel the booking, which they refused to do. They then informed me that a further $300 security deposit would be required because we were proving to be a difficult client! My only alternative was to pay the cancellation fee of $130. The owner (and by extension, booking.com) had me over a barrel! We had no alternative but to seek other emergency accommodation or allow this extortion to proceed. Booking.com were no help when we called them either, stating that the owner can charge whatever they like once a booking is confirmed. What a joke!

• Vicky (9/5): - Location was great for our purpose. Shopping Centre was close by. Accommodation was easy to locate with good instructions from host. Everything we needed was provided at Accommodation.. Not a big issue but one bedroom didn't have a door (adults sharing) Would have liked to be able to lock side access gate at night for security purpose
• Kevin (4/5): - It was clean and close to shops I have never slept in more uncomfortable beds or sat in more uncomfortable chairs and couch. My back was so sore when waking g in the morning. Trying to watch TV I had to revert to sitting on the dining chairs.

• Chantal (8/5): Affordable stay - comfortable stay Great location, close to shops & restaurants The outdoor spotlight, outside bedroom window,that kept flicking ON throughout the night, every time a car drove by. It could probably be adjusted, understanding it’s for Security.
• Alyssa (7/5): Good location, has charm, good price BUT needs a good dusting. - Located in a quiet suburb, handy to cemetery (we travelled for a funeral). On street parking and easy access. Colourful fake flowers everywhere and a Xmas tree in the corner. It really needs a good dust, fake flowers everywhere covered in dust, lamp in bedroom was very dusty. Kitchen cupboards could do with a wipe out and the large coffee mug was chipped. The iron’s plate was peeling, hard to use. Mat corner was sticking up and was a trip hazard in the night. And the second bedroom doesn’t have a bedroom door.

• Hank (7/5): great location but unit needs better fit-out and doesn't provide promised amenity - Great location Lighting in unit extremely poor, cannot see appliances in kitchen (1 poor light bulb); bathroom light needs 30 minutes to become bright (1 poor bulb). Subcontractors were supposed to be on-site for 30 minutes and were on-site for most of day interrupting amenity and enjoyment. Mat trip hazard at entry of bathroom, no instructions on operations of washing machine.

The unit had everything that one needed with written instructions that came in handy

This was because I had a dog . The price I had to pay extra was $120. All other places only charge $10 or $ 20. if I new before hand I wouldn't of booked.. I felt this was extremely unfair.

• Chelsea (10/5): Aesthetically pleasing unit - The location, extra pantry items, and the beds were really comfy. Aaron was very prompt in getting items that weren't restocked before our arrival to us, eg there was no coffee or sugar. The toy box and playstation for the kids were a nice little touch 👌 The shampoo and conditioner could be better quality. They felt very cheap and didn't feel like they cleaned or conditioned my hair. After my shower I had lots of trouble brushing out the knots from both mine and my daughters hair. The loungeroom seating was very uncomfortable. I wasn't able to sit relax and watch movies on out downtime as the 2 arms chairs supplied and the little futon weren't very uncomfortable They were more aesthetically pleasing but just not practical for relaxing.

Host Aaron was most kind , courteous and professional! Very lovely to deal with. Overall perfection I say ,💗 Cons : no biggies though !! Just would make it No1# by adding a full length Mirror for self viewing ( perhaps an over door hanging one . . ' for us ladies & our gents' & little ones too ! Milk would have made it absolutely perfect in regard to the condiment selection, would have made it ideal!

• Tri (8/5): We really like the place, it’s very clean, comfortable and visually appealing. - It’s new, very clean, tidy, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The host is very responsive. The amenities and facilities are good. It’s in a newish residential complex so the neighbourhood is nice, clean, with wide roads and good access for pedestrians. We felt safe in the neighbourhood. It’s close to shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, petrol stations and shops. Also the place is easy to access. Because it’s a new area, during our stay, there were new houses being built near the property so we heard loud noise of construction activities sometimes. One bedroom doesn’t have any door or curtain so it offers limited privacy for people who use that bedroom especially if you’re sharing the accommodation. My colleagues love coffee so they were a bit disappointed that there was no coffee pod machine nor coffee plunger. Also there was no full length mirror. But apart from those things, it’s a really nice comfortable place.

• Louise (8/5): Very good - Well set up rooms with pretty much everything needed for a short stay, bedding comfortable, nice size kitchen with oven, stove, microwave dishwasher , full size fridge, TV. Nice bathroom. Quality dinner set, glasses, coffee mugs and essentials needed for cooking, coffee and tea etc Main room only had double bed (was squishy) needed some small plates for toast in the morning. One item really missing was tongs for serving up dinner
