• Pauline (7/5): We had a pleasant comfortable stay once the house temperature was cooled enough to be comfortable. - Location Temperature, property was extremely hot on check in: property locked up with poor insulation the house was extremely hot. We arrived at 3pm it wasn’t until the sun set the house cooled, that was with aircon running plus fans.
• Susan (8/5): Very good - It Is old and very basic. Everything you could need is there, down to the last unexpected detail of liquid soap in the shower. Didn't actually meet a host but texts and phone calls were answered quite quickly. Loved the opportunity to use boogie boards and bikes or surfboards if we had wanted to. Very hot but several fans helped and the air conditioning worked. Few minor cleaning issues. Garbage tin had a plastic liner but when we removed it at the end of our stay the actual bin itself was very filthy. Back door floor area was in need of a "deeper", into the corners clean. Actually did a little myself to check it could be cleaned.

• Patrick (8/5): good… I would stay there again if playing golf in Coffs - Clean and tidy It’s a bit old and dated but to be honest I didn’t need anything else .. a pool would have been nice

• Annette (9/5): Great dog-friendly property - This lovely little cottage was a perfect place for us to stay. A short drive to Coffs Harbour and away from trafficky areas. It was great for our dog with easy to clean floors and a fenced-in yard. A dog-friendly beach a short walk away made it easy to exercise him. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bed very comfortable. The lounge area was very useful for relaxing and watching tv and having a choice of two eating places inside and a bbq and seating area outside provided many and varied options. We hope to stay again later this year! The shower was a bit wet and leaky but in an older house this is difficult to fix. It was still fit for purpose and won't stop us staying again.

• Pamela (7/5): Clean, sweet little beach side cottage with all basic facilities - That it was dog friendly and clean That the previous people hadn’t cleaned up their dog’s pop and my husband stepped in it at the beginning of our stay.

We - The location is perfect and close to everything, especially the beach which is what made us book here. The house is perfect my partner and I were able to take our old dog Titan with us for the weekend as well. House is beautiful and everything a beach cottage is meant to be. N/A
• Marcelle (10/5): Great spot. Very quirky and would definitely visit again. Easy communicatio with the host. Thank you - The place was beautifully presented and quirky. Absolute bonus to be able to take our dog on holiday. Spacious and very clean. Some extra bits and pieces to help make the dog comfortable too. Just a couple of things that are always handy and missing from this property - a dryer, clothes line and dishwasher. Gardens need some work too, but the inside was absolutely gorgeous and these things would not stop us from visiting again.
• Edwards (7/5): Good - The communication prior was excellent. It was very easy to arrive and access the keys and the property. The location was excellent - just a short stroll to the beach to cool off, walk to the cafe, and walk / drive into town. Very basic, but had most things that you need, including an awesome hot/cold outdoor shower. There was an issue with the cleaning on arrival, however Jo was very easy to contact about this. She explained what had happened, out of her control and she refunded part of our stay. The property was extremely hot when we arrived, easy enough to cool down by opening windows. There is one wall mounted air conditioner which can reach the bedrooms. Could do with a couple more pedestal fans and some new (softer) pillows.

• Janelle (8/5): Great location in an original cottage - Comfortable beds, great location for our purpose. There was food left in the fridge from previous guests, the lawn hadn't been mown for a while, and it looked like it could have done with a decent sweep thru. The stand fans were not very effective and in one instance the front mesh guard fell off and was not easy to repair . The airconditioning was lovely however only serviced the back room/ 2nd bedroom.

• Renee (10/5): Exceptional - Charming well appointed home. Family friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Everything we needed. Clean and comfortable bedding. Handy washing machine and clothesline. We felt very at home and enjoyed our stay. 2 minutes drive to the Lookout. Less than 5 minutes drive to beach, memorial sea pool, and shops. Less than 10 minutes drive to Toormina shopping centre with Coles, woolworths, kmart, KFC. A little dog hair here and there, to be expected as pet friendly accommodation.

• Anonymous (9/5): very pleasant and great advice on local restaurants from Jo was appreciated - The property was like a home away from home, has a nice feel about the place. Not commercial and better size than a cabin in a caravan park. We all loved the place but a block out curtain on both the main bedroom windows would offer a bit more privacy, currently only one on the window that faces the front TV room. my thoughts are the Airconditioning would be better fitted on the eastern wall of the main bedroom, the overflow conditioned air could then spill into the office area for cooling when the main bedroom to office windows were opened. just a thought 😀
