Guest Reviews
- Nicholas (9/5): Ideal for what I needed spoke to host on Boxing Day the day I checked in and his response on WhatsApp was immediate - Worked in the city needed off road parking for the week and had space outside for 2 cars it was perfect
- Guillaume (7/5): -
- Charles (7/5): The owners should also review the convenience of the occupants. To ensure value for their money. - Location It’s summer where the sun rises by 4am. Imagine a white curtain this period instead of a darker curtain. This defeats all the gains the location might have had.
- Rosemary (6/5): This accommodation can be a comfortable holiday home if the above issues are properly addressed. - Has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for a family of 5 in one house in a quiet location A very disappointing arrival experience! Due to our overnight long flight we requested the property for earlier storage of our luggage so we could grab some late afternoon refreshment nearby the house. The property told us that a fee of GBP35 would be charged for early storage of luggage or check in before the regular check in time at 3 pm. We agreed to the extra charge for early check in. To our great dismay when we arrived at 2:30 pm, we found that the house was in a mess as no cleaning was done after the last customers left . The owner said there was a mistake and the cleaner would come to clean up the house by 5pm. Being tired and hungry, we left the house for our late lunch and returned at 5 pm. The owner offered his apologies and said he would work out the compensation for the mistake. However, we never heard further from him regarding any compensation.
The following issues in the house need to be improved to provide reasonable basic comfort for visitor holiday stay:
1. There was only one mirror in the bathroom on the ground floor in the entire house.
There was what seemed to be a tiny decorative mirror in the bedroom, but hung too high on the wall for use . One of them (probably fell off from the wall) was placed flat on the small bedside table. We tried to use it by standing it against the window pane as there wasn’t any other place to stand it up! See photo attached.
2. Very visible unsightly mold in the bathrooms, dirty carpet, dirt accumulated in corners and bottom of walls. See photos attached.
3. Bedroom curtains had no blackout to block sunlight as the sun rises as early as 4 am in the summer!
4. Dinning chairs in the kitchen were so worn out that we were sitting on broken springs with thin covers.
5. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 5 of us for our 8-night stay. We were told to get supply ourselves!
6. Kitchen utensils: knifes dull, can hardly cut even chicken meat. Non-stick pans peeling, a danger to health!
- Taylor (10/5): Lovely little apartment with good off street parking, comfortable furnishings and excellent helpful staff -
- Arnis (9/5): Superb -
- Thusal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuting (1/5): Never ever stay in this house again, - Whole house Very bad smells, beds very uncomfortable, quilts, pillows beds all very dirty. We hate this smelly house, never stay in the same bad holiday home like this in our life
- Dean (9/5): Superb -
- Rain (8/5): Very good -
- Esraa (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammet (10/5): A great stay - Very clean, very warm and comfortable, we were very pleased.
- Balogun (8/5): It was great - It was clean when we arrived and everything was laid out well We didn’t know how to use the heating even after using the guide, so it was extremely cold throughout the whole night.
- Nonoadorable (7/5): Good experience - The infrastructure matches the pictures, and the location is convenient, just 1 hour from central London and a 13-minute walk from Kidbrooke train station. Entering the accommodation is easy. We encountered some challenges upon our arrival at our Delta accommodation, primarily related to cleanliness issues. However, I must commend Delta Accommodation for their eventual responsiveness in addressing these issues and working to rectify their mistakes.
Their decision to extend our stay at no extra cost improved our experience and an apologetic phone call from the owner of the agency was appreciated. While our stay initially had a bumpy start, we appreciate their dedication to enhancing their service.
To further enhance the overall guest experience, it would be greatly beneficial if they could provide basic cooking essentials like oil and kitchen towels. Additionally, the addition of a larger mirror in the main bedroom would be a valuable improvement.
- Marina (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (8/5): Nothing to clean the floor and Had a washer and no pegs or clothes rack - Quiet area Couldn’t open the front door
- Mohamed (9/5): Superb -
- Timi (7/5): It was good - There was no breakfast, location is cool The dinning table chairs and the bed, the garden was not trimmed down.
- Saleh (10/5): Great place for 5 people - The house was very clean and the beds were comfy, a parking space for 2 cars and nice small garden. Nothing
- Broad (8/5): Very good - The area is quiet and well located for the train station into London. The house is cosy and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, a true home from home. The mirror in the bathroom is a good size, which meant I could get ready and do my hair easier than I could in the bedroom. The communication was good, and the access instructions were easy to follow. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return. For me personally, the bedrooms need a bigger mirror to make getting ready easier. As a 5ft5in woman, I would recommend not having them too high on the wall as I could barely see into it. I did have to use the main bathroom downstairs to get washed in as the en suite basin is cloakroom size and not suitable to swill your face in.
- Macharia (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at the property and even extended it for that reason. Darren the host kindly took action on our requ - Number of beds and bedrooms. Quiet place accessible by public means. 1) Dirty carpet on the floor of the living room.
2) Unavailability of a big cooking pot that we could have used to cook a lot of food and store in the fridge instead of having to cook daily.
3) lack of pegs for use on the clothes drying line at the back of the house so we had to buy some.
NB: This is not a strange request for in our previous holiday rental accommodation, pegs and big pots were available.
- Bee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ola (10/5): sweet and short - number of beds was very helpful and nice facilities tap had a leak and some scratches on the table other than that perfect
- Kate (9/5): Superb - Great spacious, clean house with comfy beds. Very good communication with host regarding key access. Could’ve done with a tea towel and washing up liquid supplied. But apart from that, fantastic!
