- Stijn (9/5): great value for money, and very convenient - The host provided lots of free amenities for the guests in the bathroom and kitchen, which made our stay very comfortable. All electric appliances came with explanations in 3 languages, which was much appreciated. Overall we had a very comfortable stay, and the house is located at a 5 minute walk from Tengachaya station, which itself is very convenient for getting around Osaka. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Just a minor piece of advice to the host, not a complaint -- the house had various pieces of "traditional" decoration in most of the rooms, no doubt to offer the guests a more authentically Japanese experience, but we found they were mostly in the way and did not really add much.
- David (10/5): The house and host were wonderful. My family had a beautiful stay and we will be back again. - The location to the train station is very close…within walking distance. You have a convenience store a 3 minute walk from the house. The house was very clean. The AC was ice cold and definitely needed due to the outside temperature. Communication with the host was very pleasant. Making sure the the AC temperature in the house is at a comfortable level for arrival of guests.
- Alexander (2/5): Ripped off by illegal huge hidden fees and no support or help - The home is nice and suitable for a big group, with many beds. A nice neighbourhood with good local food and bars. The real price is much higher than shown on this website. A trick to show up within cheaper price ranges maybe. Nothing is disclosed but your card will be charged much more than you expect, in my case +80% more. We contacted support chat, the owners, and called support several times who said that there were added hidden “cleaning fees” and no refunds are allowed. Having hidden additional fees is illegal yet they don’t care. Additionally the owner asks for extra money if anything else goes wrong, like a fee for collecting items left behind. Its so unfair and unfortunate because the property itself was nice. The lack of support from anyone involved was just horrible.
