Guest Reviews
- Ian (10/5): - Good location central to everything, lots of room for everyone to spread out and even had a roof top outdoor area to enjoy.
Great accommodation options for a large group of people travelling together Nothing to complain about
- Nicholas (10/5): - Loved location, comfortable beds, great shower pressure, excellent air con and fans, upstairs balcony with table and very cold fridge. Easy check in and very secure. Hosts are super helpful and responsive.very clean. Only negative was the rooftop tub smelled bad. Lots of stairs on 4 floors but worked for us. Could maybe have some shelf or table space in room.

- Cuong (1/5): Extremely misleading. Would never stay here again. Need to change listing description. - Decently friendly staff tried to help us as much as they could after we voiced how disappointing we were about the property. Only good thing was a nice rooftop area with an outdoor seating. Extremely misleading room amounts. We needed 5 private room. This place only truly has 2 private rooms. 1 room is in the living room which has no door and everyone has to go through it to get to upper floors. Another 2 rooms has no door and privacy it’s Basically one room with beds separated in two sections. We had to have them put up a curtain as an emergency and the curtain kept falling throughout the night was a terrible experience for my group. It made me look like a terrible group leader selecting this place as all my group members were unhappy and couldn’t wait to check out. You truly can’t market this place as 5 bedrooms.
- Josh (10/5): We would stay here again, the location can not be beat! - The property is located right in the midst of a busting old quarter area. You can get chau, bun rieu, and pho with less than a one minute walk. There is plenty of room for the entire family. It is a bit noisy because of the location, but the host does provide earplugs for the light sleepers. The noise was not a big deal for most of our group.
- Julian (10/5): Comfy stay at Hanoi Old Quarter for big family. - Location, cleanliness, comfy beds, friendly host, spacious room. Nothing
- Mathew (7/5): Stay in the bustling and busy heart of Hanoi. - A great location in a typical narrow Hanoi city house. This provides a great base to explore what especially the Old Town of Hanoi has to offer. If people in your group have mobility issues, this is probably not the best choice for you. Also, if you are noise sensitive - this is a busy and bustling location. Ear plugs are provided though.
- Kimmeii (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (8/5): Very good - Great location and very responsive host. An extra lock on the front door would add some reassurance.
- Buchanan (8/5): Very good -
- Celine (10/5): Absolutely stunning apartment in a perfect location. - The perfect place if you are traveling with a lot of people as there are plenty of bed rooms.
The host was very friendly, accommodating and met our needs even late in the evening.
The apartment was clean and very comfortably furnished. Towels, hygiene products and detergent were provided. It has a beautiful terrace on the rooftop with a clear view of the surrounding area. There is also a protected outdoor area with a whirlpool and the possibility of hanging up laundry without fear of it flying away. The location is perfect. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and there are numerous restaurants and activities in immediate vicinity. You can also get a list of recommendations from the host, saving you a lot of additional research.
Please note that there are many stairs, very common for Vietnamese houses. You can also expect the typical Hanoi noise and market smells. It didn't bother me at all because that's the charm of the city.
I am completely satisfied with the apartment, I had a wonderful time there and could imagine to coming back in the future. There is nothing to complain about.
- Yang (9/5): Owner is friendly and helpful. Very responsive to queries, messages. A comfortable and cozy stay - Location is very convenient. Short distant walk to many local best restaurants, attractions, convenient stalls, etc Generally very comfortable and cozy stay experience. Just something minor which is need to climb stairs to the kitchen which is on roof top. Even going out or coming back also need to climb stairs.
- Kevin (9/5): Gives people everything old Hanoi has to offer right at their doorsteps. Perfect for those looking for unadulterated exp - Central location in the midst of old quarter, within easy walking distance to everything! Comfortably accommodated family group of 12 people. In the middle of traditional market, meat seller right beside the gate, green grocer opposite. Some people may not like the sight, sound, or smell of traditional markets.
- Connor (10/5): great value in heart of old town. - big spacious, aircon, right in heart of old town, great value for money! nothing.
