• Deb (6/5): - I found this property average from a location, general amenities and hotel staff perspective. The reception staff were not helpful nor courteous. I inquired about the “spa” and use of it was dismissed as too complicated. I booked this property specifically because of the pool and other spa amenities. In my seven nights, I wasn’t able to use it once. Makes me wonder if it’s even operational. On the other hand, the restaurant staff were very pleasant and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The location is not in Brig and a 25 minute walk into town. The walk is along a pathway, which can be quite pleasant. Thank you

• Marlon (8/5): Entspannung in Naters mit Aussicht - Ideal für eine Nacht und Aufenthalt im Aletschspa inklusive. Im Hotel musste eine Angestellte mit dem Koch alles alleine machen und im Restaurant gab es nur ein Menu zur Auswahl. Das Essen war gut und der Service trotz des Umstandes zufriedenstellend.

• Urs (6/5): Alex Hotel - quite OK for a short stopover - Our first impression of this hotel was not so good... a hotel built in the 1990s with a somewhat strange layout and in need of modernization. It’s definitely not a 4-* hotel. However, first impressions can be wrong. The spa in a separate building was quite amazing and the best after a day of skiing or hiking. Dinner on the top floor was very good and staff was very attentive. Not our first choice for a holiday but for a stopover this hotel was quite OK.

• Mizeet (4/5): - I feel terrible writing this but feel like I should, this hotel was so bad that we left and forfeited our entire night's stay because we couldn't stay here. It is extremely dated and in the middle of nowhere. The room was hot and stuff with a tiny bathroom. We just felt very ill at ease there and I think we were the only people in the hotel because I didn't see another soul and we were the only car in the lot. The staff were very kind and there is lots of free parking but that is the only positive I could come up with.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Il faisait `+32°- Dans la chambre il n y a pas de climatisation. Le soir on ne m'a pas servit au restaurant par ce que il y avait une grouppe. Personnel ne parle pas français. Je voulais quitter l'hotel a 6.00 et regler mais la réception etait fermé et personne ne décrochait pas la téléphone. C'est pourquoi je devais revenir 6 heures après et faisais 40km de route.

• Toni (8/5): Gutes Hotel mit zu vielen Sternen - Das Hotel ist gut und bietet guten Service - auf 3-Sterne-Niveau. 4 Sterne sind definitiv zu viel. Das Restaurant im 8. Stock bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Dafür sind die Preise sehr hoch und das Essen ist Durchschnitt. Die Bedienung ist nicht sehr aufmerksam (15 Minuten Wartezeit bis sich eine Dame an den Tisch bemühte) und spricht und versteht kein Schweizerdeutsch. Ich werde wieder in dieses Hotel gehen, aber icht mehr dort essen.

• Walker (8/5): Stark but friendly - We stopped over on our train trip to Geneva and enjoyed the Glacier Train that passes through town. The hotel was very clean, no carpet, modern bath, a small balcony, free internet in lobby, very nice breakfast included in the low rate. The sauna is an additional charge. The hotel paid for our taxi fare both ways to the train station. The hotel was almost too Swiss with a very plain central stairway that echoed from the lack of warm details. Also, it is in town, something that surprised us based on the photo. A very good overall value, and we would stay again.
• Leila (8/5): Fair Value - The decor was a 1990's version of modern- cute if you like a minimalist and slightly zany esthetic. The mattress was extremely thin and generally small by US standards, but every hotel we stayed at in Switzerland had a version of the same thing. Free parking was great and it was fairly easy to make our way over to the train to Zermatt from here.
