• Jim (9/5): - The Surf Pad is a well-appounted and very comfortable place for a beach holiday at Angourie. The staff at Ocean Stays made it so easy for us to check in and out and made it clear they were ready to sort out any issues that may have arisen.

• Maria (7/5): Easy, relaxing and excellent location. - We liked the convenience to the beach and the 2 cafes on either side, that was an extra bonus. We liked that it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Good sized bathroom which was great especially the rain shower, best feature of the house I think overall it was good, we thought it could have done with a coffee table, as we liked having a drink on the lounge and found it difficult to put a drink down, it is the small things that can change the appearance. Probably a few more things in the kitchen, just some simple things, like a wooden spoon, garlic crusher and a bigger pot, once again just small things. My husband mentioned that he thought the garden needed some maintenance.
• Jennifer (9/5): Enjoyed the property and Yamba and live music at the local on Sunday afternoon. - Loved the location so close to the beach and coffee shops. Easy drive into Yamba. Property was bright and light with everything working and comfortable.

• Alison (8/5): An ideal location as a “home base” for several days exploring. - Lovely location. Great coffee cafe next door at Bay Street Local. The Oceanstays team were responsive with communication and even notified us about the option of an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Very useful dishwasher and washing machine made our stay more of a home away from home. An aroma candle was also a nice addition. The eco friendly toiletries were delightful too. The carpet runners tended to curl up at the ends and could cause a bit of a tripping hazard so some Velcro dots or something to fix them in place would be good. A few more brown paper bags for organic rubbish disposal would be helpful or perhaps a bigger bin for this category. Not deal breakers, just possible “tweaks”.

• Dianne (8/5): Loved the location and surrounds . The unit was a great size . - Location was great , beaches in immediate area were also wonderful. Yamba only short distance for restaurants and shops. Coffee shop was great with lovely service . Local restaurant for breakfast was also very good. Kitchen wasn’t really very clean . The drawers were not clean . The dishwasher smelt of fish . The lounge also felt a bit sticky . Upstairs was really clean and comfortable , bathroom was great .

• Abel (9/5): Great apartment, excellent position. Value for money - positioned across a small road which has a walking path leading to Spooky Beach which I would rate as one of the best untouched beaches in the world. Very protected from large surf yet offers great waves in other parts. The appartment was very comfortable and contained everything needed with the exception of a corkscrew which we borrowed from a neighbour. Everything works from the lights, stove. aircon and shower. Very clean. We will return. Will buy screw top wine going forward so there was nothing to not like

• Michelle (9/5): Awesome surf pad, very comfortable, great location. - The location is awesome! Only 200m to Spooky Beach. The courtyard is lovely in the mornings, the outdoor hot/cold shower was so nice after a surf and the beds were very comfortable. Being able to also take our little dog was the best!! There is no shops or cafes at Angourie so you need to take all your food/drinks with you otherwise you will need to drive into Yamba. The apartment is very well equipped with full kitchen though.
