• Adam (7/5): Dobra lokalizacja, mieszkanie gdzie można poczuć klimat miasta. - Bardzo sympatyczny właściciel, dobry kontakt z nim przez whatsapp. Fajny klimat mieszkania, okna na dwie strony, czuć klimat miasta, ale nie jest bardzo głośno. Wygodny twardy materac. Dziwne rozwiązania w łazience, bateria wannowa zamontowana na umywalce :-) Fuszerka wykończeniowa łazienki. Przed windą wisi na ścianie zakurzony rower, psuje to estetykę wejścia.

The owner is very kind and very helpful. he sorted me out with the taxi trying to reap me off when I arrived from the airport. Highly recommended for any trip to Saigon.

It’s perfect for exploring, you can get to almost all the popular spots and sights by foot in about 20+ minutes. I would definitely stay here again Since it's an older hotel you can see some scratches on the furniture etc, but nothing worth to complain about in this price range tbh

• Luisa (10/5): - We booked an apartment with a balcony last minute and Stephen the host, was very quick to respond and welcome us. The apartment is in a quiet street off a hectic main road with many restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, food stalls and shops. The bed was super comfortable, the shower pressure ideal and our nights were restful. Having a fridge and cooktop was handy. Many sights are walkable. Hailing a Grab to get around was easy. Public bus routes near the apartment were also easily accessible and rides were inexpensive, clean and air conditioned. Our 7-Day stay at Stephen’s accomodation in HCMC was great!
• Elena (9/5): - The location was good, still in District 1. It was quite and the bed was big and comfortable. It was very clean and the host was helpful. I had the experience with a cockroach, becaus I opened the window for some fresh air. It was not a good idea.
• Carmen (10/5): Wonderful stay - I loved everything about the apartment - the interior design, very clean and comfortable, also a big fridge and a sink to wash the dishes. The owner was very kind and supportive, I could also park my bicycle inside and store it on my day of departure until the evening. The location was also perfect and despite the noisiness outside, it was super quiet inside.

• Michael (9/5): - Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ins Zentrum kommt man zu Fuß relativ schnell bzw mit Taxi recht günstig. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich eine Fernreisebusstation. Für jene, die mit einem der nahegelehenen Nachtbusse in Stadt kommen, ist die Unterkunft sehr praktisch. In der Hauptstraße gibt es unzählige Cafes und Essmöglichkeiten, aber trotzdem hatten wir Probleme ein für uns passendes Frühstückscafe zu finden. Frühstück wird nicht angeboten.

• Mary (1/5): Bait and switch. No sauna. No rooftop balcony. - Nothing. This property is a bait and switch. It did not have any of the amenities described in the listing. I took one look and contacted the host. He claimed it was “Bookings fault”. We immediately left and got a refund. Beware.

• Chris (9/5): Fijn verblijf met een erg vriendelijke eigenaar! - Wij boekte erg laat, maar kregen gelijk een reactie en konden snel terecht. Ook de volgende dag toen onze plannen moesten wijzigen en we vroegen of we de laatste nacht mochten annuleren (ook al hadden we al geboekt), was dat geen probleem en was hij heel erg meedenkend. Heel fijn verblijf!

Lokalita je ideální – jen pár minut od ulice plné barů, restaurací a zábavy, přitom samotné místo je klidné a tiché. Skvělá dostupnost do centra, vše po ruce. Vřele doporučuji! Stephen was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal - just a few minutes from a street full of bars, restaurants and entertainment, while the place itself is peaceful and quiet. Great access to the center, everything at hand. Highly recommended!
• Barbara (10/5): Good for longer stays. - We stayed here for 5 nights and are very pleased! The room we initially received wasn't the one we booked, but the owners were extremely nice and switched the room with no problem :) It's very spacious and the bed is comfortable. The location is also great with many good food places nearby (we loooved the grilled banana sticky rice that's a minute away). There was no noise at night and no noise in the accommodation from other rooms. Would have loved if there were actual shampoo dispensers instead one single use packets but not a big issue.
• Alan (7/5): Buena estadía, salvo lo descrito - La habitación era excelente, un poco incómoda la puerta del baño o el baño en sí chico para la habitación pero después todo bien. Estuvimos 5 noches las cuales tuvimos que pedir un cambio de toallas al 3er día porque si era por ellos, estábamos casi una semana con las mismas. Cuando pedimos el cambio nos dieron solo para bañarse, la de manos y piso, no. Después una noche llegamos a la madrugada, la tarjeta de acceso no funcionaba en las puertas de entrada y tuvimos que llamar al dueño para que nos abra, recién ahí nos pasó un código de acceso y recién al otro día funcionaba la tarjeta. Otro día hubo una lluvia muy fuerte, se cortó la luz y al momento de pedir una explicación o tranquilidad la respuesta fue NO VUELVE NUNCA MÁS que era la primera vez en diez años que sucedía esto. A una persona ajena al país le tenes que dar tranquilidad, no inseguridad.

• Tom-Colin (3/5): Horrible, unprofessional host - Room looked promising on pictures and ratings were good. Very impolite and unfriendly contact. I booked this apartment for one night in the morning before my stay. The negative experience started when I asked if an early check in (before 15:00) is possible. He said no, because the person before me stays in the room until 11:30 and they need 2 hours to clean the room. That already made no sense, but then he added that an early check-in would have been possible, if I booked more than 1 day. That was not great, but ok, since they are not obligated to allow an early check-in. But then Stephan (probably the owner of this "Hotel") contacted me the night before my stay on WhatsApp and wanted to give me a different room then the one I booked because they were allegedly overbooked, even though booking showed that they had the same room available 3 more times (so he was either grossly irresponsible or lying). When I declined to be booked into a different room he said that my room is no longer available and I should cancel my booking and trust him to not charge me. He then moved on to blame me for the situation because I booked a day before my time of arrival. After some back and forth he agreed to cancel the stay. This never happened, so I had to contact booking to ensure the stay gets properly canceled and no cancelation fees occur. So, overall a very rude and unprofessional interaction that cause a lot of trouble for me. I have never seen the rooms, but based on this interaction I don't think the owner is trustworthy or reliable. Maybe you have a better experience when you book earlier and for longer, but who knows what else might tip him off and get him on your bad side.

• jm2 (10/5): - 첫날 밤에 도착했는데 환전을 하지 못해서 숙박비를 다음날 지불해도 될지 양해를 구했고 친절한 호스트 여성분은 흔쾌히 허락해주었음. (부킹닷컴 예약시 숙소 도착 후 현금 결제 조건으로로만 예약가능해서 사전 결제를 못함) 위치적으로 이곳은 부이비엔에서 살짝 떨어져 있어 잠잘때 클럽 소음이 전혀 들리지 않아 조용함. 큰길에서 살짝 안쪽 골목에 위치함. 4층에 투숙했고 엘리베이터가 있음 객실도 좁은 편은 아니어서 혼자 사용하기엔 넓었고 작은 소파와 테이블도 있어 편리했음. 샤워부스에 닫는 문이 없어서 물이 바깥쪽으로 튀어서 샤워할때 조금 불편하긴 했으나 전반적으로 가격대비 깨끗한 편이었고 따뜻한물도 잘 나오고 에어컨 성능도 좋았음. 사용하지는 않았지만 싱크대가 있고 수저와 그릇, 냄비 등 식기류도 구비되어 있었음 이는 장기 투숙하는분들께 도움이 될듯함. 부이비엔거리 인근에 2만원대 호텔도 있지만 약간의 비용을 추가하여 이곳에 예약하길 잘했다는 생각.. 다음 호치민 방문시 다시 방문 의사 있음.
• Van Hanh (9/5): Amazing, new and valuable - The furniture and decoration of my room was attractive. The style of the room was quite new to me and I think I hadn't been to any similar hotel before. All basic services were good enough to give me a convenient stay. The price was great comparing to other hotels in District 1 of Saigon. It should be noted that the property doesn't look like a normal hotel. You do not see reception desk when you reach the venue. You need to call the owner in stead of visiting and talking to a receptionist. It will be strange at first but I think it's fine when you are familiar.

This place is a jewel: ideally situated in central Ho-Chi-Minh (close to ben Tahn, bui vien), with lots of different restaurants and cafés around, for all tastes and budgets, but in a small street that makes it perfectly isolated from noise of croud and scooters. Moreover, the rooms are spacious, like genuine apartments, and decorated with taste. There is also a lots of connections and lights. The tenant is very helpful and professional.

Since there is not a real reception I had the feeling of not being very safe because when I entered or left there was no one around in the entrance. But I had no problems in my stay. A picture of the entrance/ street would be nice to find it easier even though there is a sign ☺️

Nice big comfy bed and the shower was great. Also plenty of little extras just in case you forget anything which was a lovely touch. The host was great and even arranged for our laundry to be done. • Simran (10/5): Exceptional - Most comfortable bed we have stayed on in Vietnam! Felt like our bed at home and the air conditioner worked perfectly all the time. You could keep it on even when you weren’t in the room. Hot water was always available to shower with. Hotel location was on a quiet side street close to many main attractions in district 1. Never had an issue with getting in late at night because there’s a passcode to the main gate and you can tap your room card to get in. So easy and efficient. Stephen the hotel owner was super kind, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to via WhatsApp. He also offered to watch our bags for us in his office after check out because our flight was late at night.

• Ellie (9/5): Great apartment in central location, - The location was great, all the attraction we wanted to see were only a short distance walk away. The apartment itself was a studio which had plenty of room and some cooking facilities if needed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated! Great air-conditioning too as HCMC was incredibly hot when we were there. As HCMC was mid 30 degrees, it would have been very nice to have access to a pool of some sort. This was not a fault of the property though!

• Don (5/5): Not for us - The apartment looks just like the photos. except for the washing machine. As all the other reviewers have said Stephen was really helpful and was willing to go the extra mile to make our stay ok. I purposely reserved this apartment because the description and the photos showed a washing machine. We have been traveling for 3 months and sometimes you just want to do your own laundry! We had a few stops and starts finding the apartment - it may also be listed as My Way Apartments and there is a sign at the alley that leads to the apartment for My Stay Travel. We stayed one night in the apartment as it was too late to move but the lack of washing machine and the neighborhood really put us off.
• Sara (10/5): A lovely apartment in a great area - A lovely apartment in a great area! Really well equipped, comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi and hot water. Stephen was a great host! Would definitely book again if we return to Ho Chi Minh.

• Simonne (8/5): Very good - The location was within walking distance to central area. The Rommel was comfortable and quite roomy. Steven helped us book trips and advice on agenda. We could have used him to help with planning the rest of our journey but we did not ask until later If extra small comforts( 4 pillows on king bed, upgrade towels,second sink not working, replace broken knobs on drawers) would rate the room a 5 Steven so helpful during our stay. Did not matter what time of day.

• Lynda (10/5): Had an amazing one-night stay here! - Stephen went above and beyond in arranging a cycling tour to Mekong Delta, Ha Giang Loop, and the Halong Bay trip was fantastic. A special shout-out to our guide, Loc, in Mekong Delta – he was a professional biker and made the experience outstanding!
• Hope (10/5): Nice hotel with great service. - It's close to Bui Vien, just a 5-minute walk, and only 10 minutes to Ben Thanh Market. Stephen was really helpful, arranging a private tour from Mekong Delta to Con Dao Island at a great price. It was an awesome experience!

Really quite even though it is so close to everything in district 1. Comfy bed! Looked even nicer than the photos. Really good value for money :) Nothing!
• Ben (10/5): Good value nice quality room in Ho Chi Minh - Nice big room with balcony, quiet and effective air con, in a quiet area a short walk from the busy bui vien area. The owner arranged for a private tour of the Mekong delta which was great. Highly recommend

• Claire (10/5): Quiet oasis in HCMC - Great place away from the bustle of HCMC! We stayed for 4 nights and were very happy to come back to a quiet place, where we slept really good, after long days of exploring. The hotel is tucked away in a little alley of a main street. Really central (7min walk to Bui Vien walking street), very comfy bed and good A/C. Stephen the host is very nice and always up for a chat. We’ll definitely come back if ever in HCMC again 👍
