It was just gr - Location perfect Pool beautiful inside and outside Beds comfortable Facility had all you needed in kitchen / laundry Not well cleaned Floors scummy, windows dirty inside and outside . Dining chairs dirty Lounge dirty Quite a few maintenance issues which were minor but inconvenient- light bulbs 2 dishwashing tablets for 5 days

• Zeckeisha (8/5): Was a great location that accommodated my whole family the facility was great and would stay again - Location was great as we did not know Gold Coast well we found it confusing regarding key collection not on premises or accommodation location.
• Edwina (6/5): Location was great and the rooms were clean. - Location was excellent, view was lovely and the pool and BBQ facilities were great. The apartments were dated, and clearly holiday rentals because they weren’t maintained to a level I would have expected eg: lights and fans not working, broken window shutters, no fly screens on the balcony doors or windows.

• Wally_81 (3/5): Good location, but very low quality of the place. - Location and view from windows A lot. First - place is very run down. Missing shower door in bathroom, dirty curtains and missing curtains. No privacy . Second - we were missing ceiling lights for 3 day. At least they give us refund for those days. Third - communication. Never call back or SMS back. I had to go to reception in person to find out about our issues.
• NICOLE (4/5): Below average because of broken/poor facilities in apartment. - Location This was booked on booking.com and was for a privately owned apartment via Q-stay. There was only one air conditioner working in the main bedroom. Air conditioner in main living area broken so had to rely on one free standing fan. Second bedroom had one ceiling fan only - was hot and stuffy as could only run fan on lowest setting. Third bedroom open to main living area - zero ventilation. Too noisy to open doors/windows. Kitchen area very basic and uninviting. Coffee grounds left in coffee maker etc. Certainly not worth peak travelling time price.

• tom (3/5): QSTAY never book / fake , sell you opposite to what you booked . - Location great. / pool was nice for the kids . QStay who manages the property very bad . We were sold a property that looked nothing like we purchased and were promised . / false advertised / when questioned about it management diverted and promised a call back and nothing . Promised sets of keys / how ever failed to educate and tell us what they were for / also told not to use one of the locks as they don’t have keys for it …. However supplied us with one . Sent maintenance issues in via QR code , nothing was done about any. The property very tired , needs money spent on it . Damage everywhere . Place was 1980s interior and sold a modern leather sofa and laminated floors . We never got that. Took 8calls and many emails to fix a fan that shouldn’t have passed OHS Saftey but no one picked up on it . No basic starting amenities were supplied as per stated . Dirty carpet/ dirty bath / hair / unclean bench tops / cupboard not clean / balcony not swept / bedrooms with op shop furniture / coffee table leg broken / windows not clean / stains on kitchen cupboards Just no care but take your money . Addressed a lot of this above we were ignored and then when questioned in email for reply they don’t reply or ask to repeat the email. Classic diversion . I was told by management to park in someone else’s spot when we arrived as previous person hadn’t moved car . I said that will annoy that person etc etc . Told me park there they would sort it out. However they didn’t / got abusive windscreen letter . I dealt with this however management then denied they stated that info what to do / I asked when threatened to tow would they pay / refused to comment . This company is all about money and nothing for the customer . Selfish people with no care other than for themselves . Worst experience and never accountable . Never book with QStay worst ! Only have 1 pic as the rest I sent to the maintenance but never did anything about our issues / just ignored emails .

• Helen (7/5): Was a great location and neat but would consider somewhere with access to staff - THe location was amazing and the room itself was quite nice It was ok but we had a sick child and getting help to clean up in the basement parking (not to clean but to allow us to clean up the vomit) was very tough and not enough towels for number of people staying. Last thing was the cleaner came before 10am and was pushy for us to leave. We requested if we could bring the keys up in half hour as we were waiting for another car to meet us for luggage (it would have taken her more than half hour to clean our unit) and she said no so we had to walk around with luggage. Facilities good, access to staff not great. We also only had two keys for three bedroom and one of the keys didnt have the pool key so we would get stuck outside waiting for the other key to get back

• Kallie (7/5): Our stay in unit 41 at the Moroccan surfers paradise - The position was great. 3 bedroom unit a good size. unfortunately, our unit backed onto the Cali resort, which hosts parties every night, which don't stop until 12 pm. The whole resort is looking a little run down. There are no fans in the unit at all. 1 aircon just to do the living area.

• Hells31 (6/5): Great location - Great location, close to Cavill Mall and situated across from the beach. Spacious apartment, ocean views and located on the 15th floor. Not enough lounge space. Apartment caters for 4 people and lounge is only for 3. Car space was small and max height is 1.9m, our car barely scraped in. Bathroom needs an upgrade, doors need replacing and the apartment needs a good repaint.

• S (7/5): Perfect location for a weekend in Surfers. - The property was in the ideal location of Surfers Paradise, right next to the beach and in the heart of Surfers, perfect for anyone wanting to spend lots of time at the beach or doing things around Surfers within walking distance. The property was a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures online.

• B (5/5): Not a Lot - We arrived at 9am to be told people are checking out and we would need to wait for the apartment to be cleaned. When reading your email that was sent to us it said that if we get there between 10 and 12 and paid extra we could get into the room if the room was available There is nothing in the email to tell you that this would not be the case At no time did the staff make any attempt to see if they could get us into the room any earlier and therefore providing you guys with more money for us to move in early I asked how long this would take I was told it may take a few hours we waited till 11am to be told they are having it cleaned and we should be able to get the key in the next half hour or so at 12 noon We waited another hour only to be told the room is cleaned and the keys should be here in about 10 minutes. it's now 2.15 and we are still waiting. This is a joke. At no stage have our staff advised us about any details. l have had to ask and chase them with questions waiting for answers Then we arrived at the resort having driven around the car park for at least 15 minutes I then had to make a phone call to your staff to find out where the parking spot was and they couldn't tell me where it was. I've taken a photo which I will send you Upon entering our room we found the light in the main toilet suite area was not working and I had to replace that with another globe that I found the batteries on the ceiling fans and all air conditioning needed to be replaced One of the glasses in the kitchen was still covered with lipstick and was dirty and the cups are about the size of 250 mills and not suitable for any drinks at all There is no information in the room telling you where the facilities are and the whereabouts on the property where things should be. Can you believe there was only one role of toilet paper spare for two toilets and five people for seven days. I've stayed in many hotel
• Jacqui (1/5): Aweful I would be requesting a refund - Location Construction in the apartment above drilling all day and extremely loud noise we called a stay they moved us however the new location was no where near where we originally booked then the apartment flooded from a faulty washing machine that needed replacement - the Morrocan was dirty Broken lights , right next to the bin refuse and outdoor bins

Moroccan is a nice property overall and well maintai - Location / balcony/ views and the general maintenance of the building and surroundings The actual unit wasn’t maintained properly by Q stay. Toilet bin not emptied. Some globes not working. Cracked plug points/ switch point - this is dangerous. Wardrobes and cupboards containing storage items and some wardrobes broken. Unit not cleaned during the 10 night stay. Usually, if a stay is over 7 days it should be cleaned / all linen changed at 7 days. Q stay customer service is also poor as they don’t have any reception arrangements at the property.

Dryer didn't work, hadn't been cleaned fully some finger nail extension laying around the place, 1/4 of a sandwich left in the dust pan, random fridge in living room that wasn't plugged in or in use.

• Parth (7/5): Good - Very close to the beach and main street in Surfers Paradise The apartment is a bit old and basic things such as toilet papers, kitchen papers, dish washing liquid or tablets were not enough for our entire stay. We contacted the office and we were told to pick up from the office which is a little bit far from the apartment. Those things should have been supplied enough for the stay. We ended up buying our own items as shops were closer than their office. Our freeze broke down on the second day so it was changed the same day so it was very very good to see quick support.
