Guest Reviews
- Jake (6/5): -
- Nicole (1/5): - - The half dozen cockroaches in the property, the late access, the poor customer service. Dated, tired old facilities, misleading "luxe" description
- Michael (9/5): Would stay again if available - View, location to amenities, functional apartment
- Mark (8/5): The location is close to a rail station, but trying to find the place and how to get in was an issue - It was a very difficult property to find as there was no clear signage. Finding the lock box was a difficult and confusing process. The location of the lock box is not in a particular obvious or safe place. Having to take a picture of the lock box on return of the key at 4.00am was not safe.
- Tess (4/5): Would not stay here again - Great Location Property was extremely worn out and dirty. Host is a professional host which you don't find out until after you leave and they want a google review? Access was a nightmare. Very disappointing.
- Vannessa (9/5): -
- nakita (6/5): - Nice view Small dirty.
- Montanah (2/5): I would not recommend this accomodation to anyone. Highlights the risk of hosts having card details. - The building itself had good facilities, including a well-maintained pool and a gym. The apartment was well equipped and comfortably furnished, with everything we needed for our stay. It also offered a pleasant view. The location in Fortitude Valley is not ideal. The area has a high level of nightlife and visible crime, which makes it feel unsafe at times. Walking around at night felt uncomfortable and, at times, unsafe.
Most concerning, however, was what occurred after our departure. The day after we checked out, I received a message from the host alleging that we had caused damage to the apartment, including red wine stains in the toilet area, on the bedside table and on the carpet. I respond immediately, explaining that this could not have been from us, as we did not have red wine (only white wine, consumed once in the kitchen) and did not use wine in any of the locations mentioned. The host thanked me and said she would follow up if needed.
After hearing nothing further, I discovered that $200 had been deducted from my account on Christmas Day with no communication, notification or evidence provided. I only noticed the charge the following day and contacted the host to enquire why the money had been taken out with no explanation, and requested photos.
After multiple follow-up calls, the host eventually sent photos, which were clearly NOT from the apartment we stayed in. The images showed entirely different features, including different coloured floorboards, different bedside tables, different rugs, different bathroom tiles and a double sink (our apartment had a single sink). One photo even showed male underwear in the bedroom, and another with male facial hair in the sink, despite there being no males in our group. It was unmistakably a different apartment.
Even if the damage shown in the photos had been from the correct apartment, a $200 bill would be completely unreasonable. The only visible issue was a small red stain on a rug. Other issues shown could have been amended with routine cleaning. The charge was only refunded after repeated follow-up. The charge was taken out in breach of booking.com guidelines. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

- Alice (4/5): - Check in process
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Very good location. Great clean place. We couldn't get access to the spas, it is something you have to book in advance which was annoying as we didn't know that until we were there which was too late.
- Andrew (9/5): great stay in a really nice location - Location is excellent, great views.
- Astromikaelo (5/5): Passable - Location. Great view of the story bridge. Confusing pick up location of key and parking area regardless of the instructions provided. The parking area is not connected to the building where we are supposed to stay so we had to figure it out orselves that we were in the wrong building. We were late for our dinner plans because it took us forever to check in. Aircon does not work in favour to guests at it was set to auto but we were sweating bullets on our first night because it was not working properly. Beds were very uncomfortable. All of us did not have proper sleep because of how soft or soggy the beds are. There was a funky smell in the unit as well.
- Madison (10/5): Exceptional - Property was in a great location. Easy check-in instructions. Quiet apartment building. Great communication with the property manager.
- Debra (9/5): Would stay again in a heartbeat, if you like a vibrant central location - look no further - The apartment view was spectacular, it was a great size and well equipped. Really enjoyed our stay. Had difficulty finding key box not where info said. Had to call the contact number. Took about 20 minutes to find key box so dreading how much that call will cost on a UK mobile. Dont let this put you off, the apartment was worth it. Maybe one for the owner to update details.
- Amelia (8/5): Great value for money in a great location!! - The location was amazing! Facilities were great and check in process was so easy. The bed was broken in the main room but it has been raised with the owner to get fixed!
- Dimi (7/5): Good -
- Charmaine (5/5): The actual apartment was very good but the amount of information required before check in was ridiculous (I had to send - The property was a nice 2 bedroom unit. I paid a deposit for a second key - but there wasn’t an extra one in the locked box and none was available even though they had said I could get one. All lights in the main bedroom and both bathrooms weren’t working and took over 24 hours to get them fixed - and I had to come back to the apartment as they said they didn’t have a spare key to get in!!!
- Josephine (9/5): Superb -
- Ethan (8/5): Great place to stay for a quick holiday - Great location
- Gardner (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flora (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good - Location Could’ve had a bigger tv
- Vicky (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (10/5): Great stay - Clean, comfortable and easy to get to. Onsite parking available which was good. Communication with staff was great.
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wade (7/5): It was adaquit but wouldn’t book again - The location The cleanliness
- Chontelle (7/5): It was nice - It was very close to everything my fiancé and I needed to attend. The smell in the morning from the bathroom by the front door, you could smell the sewage. The leaky tap in the other bathroom masked by a mat that was drenched and smelt so bad. Cutlery was a little moldy due to it being put away without being dried, the washing machine just had heaps of wet, stuck laundry powder in it. The internet wasn’t that great, kept dropping out. The sugar and coffee was not restocked properly. All in all, if those things were cleaned or repaired properly, I wouldn’t have a bad thing to say at all, they aren’t absolutely horrible things, it didn’t ruin our stay.
