• Jaime alberto (9/5): - La estancia perfecta para las personas que buscan un lugar para socializar, conocer nuevas personas y ampliar su comunidad viajera. el encanto de este lugar no solo nace de sus aguas cálidas y claras. Se trata como su nombre lo titula una casa en medio del agua. Pero no cualquier agua, hablamos de una casa en medio del caribe, donde la diversidad se mueve por sus cimientos. Su personal te explica paso a paso la dinámica que comienza con integrarse. A pesar de lo pequeño del lugar siempre hay algo que hacer, una historia que contar, una nueva actividad. Como si saliera de los cuentos de Márquez la casa resuelve una duda existencial que nunca nos hicimos: ¿que precio tiene la constante conexión?; por que acá aprendes a vivir en otro tiempo, las horas pasan lento y a la vez se hace siempre corto. La vida adquiere otro significado y solo los que vivimos esta experiencia podemos explicarnos en parte la tranquilidad que nos generó redescubrirnos y comprender otra parte de nosotros. En resumen no es para cualquiera, no es lujoso, no es pomposo, no es el lugar más cómodo donde he estado pero se lo recomiendo a absolutamente todos los que quieren comprender otra parte de si mismos y desconectar en uno de los paisajes mas hermosos del caribe. quizás algo que algunos les moleste sea la disponibilidad de agua para el baño en el día, por que siendo una casa en medio del caribe no cuenta con recursos infinitos como suele suceder en Colombia . Recomiendo que vengan con la mente abierta a pasar en el agua todo el día en un hermoso lago que acá llaman mar

• MelodyPalermo (10/5): Gran experiencia!!! - Claramente esta ubicado en el paraíso, el desayuno de los dos días que estuvimos riquísimo!. el agua de la playita limpia y todo bien cuidado. Hermosa atención del personal y voluntarios! nos sentimos muy cómodos y nos vamos felices con la experiencia. Cena y almuerzo riquísimos! también realizamos dos excursiones con ellos :) si están dudando en ir! no se pierdan esta experiencia de dormir sobre el mar! Respecto a las excursiones considero que la del snorkel en el arrecife ya no la tendrían que hacer. Me encanta que Casa en el Agua cuide los valores de la naturaleza, océano y reciclaje, por eso me parece que el arrecife esta casi "muerto" e ir hasta ahí le provoca mas daño, y tampoco el viajero puede ver mucho ni disfrutar en esa "excursión".

• Curreli (6/5): Overrated - The location is very beautiful, the choice of activities is comprehensive (snorkeling, kayaking, visits to Tintipan etc), and I had a good time with the other guests met there. This accomodation is overrated and not a good value for money. Aside from the location, nothing else is worth the money. The staff is quite disorganised and unfriendly compared to most places I stayed in Colombia. They organize interesting activities but don't do a good job advertising them, and many people missed the opportunity to join those because they were not reminded. They don't really pay much attention to the guests and their requests. The rooms are in wooden and become quite stuffy at night, while the people who stayed in the hammocks said that they are uncomfortable and cold due to the wind. They could also get better equipment - the snorkeling masks are very uncomfortable.

The fresh crab and lobster dinner was incredible - highly recommend. Was great sunbathing on the sea floats and nets. We booked the double sea view room, was great views but the beds were uncomfortable and the access to showers is at odd times. One night was perfect.

I didn’t have the experience I was expe - I found this hotel to be extremely overrated and definitely not worth the price. I didn’t have the experience I was expecting at all. Yes, it’s true that the idea of a hotel in the middle of the sea is very unique and interesting — and the concept is great — but unfortunately, the execution fell short in many ways. The biggest issue was the staff. Almost every staff member I interacted with — from the reception, to housekeeping, to the bar and kitchen — was shockingly rude and unfriendly. They looked at us with hostility and made no effort to be welcoming. The only people who treated me kindly and showed any sense of warmth were the volunteers, which says a lot. It’s especially disappointing considering that you’re isolated, with nowhere else to go, and stuck in an environment that feels cold and unwelcoming. Another major issue was the bathroom situation. Even though I understand and appreciate the ecological and natural approach, the cleanliness was clearly lacking. The bathroom constantly had a very bad smell and it didn’t seem well-maintained or properly cleaned. Overall, I was really disappointed. This place could be so much better if the staff were properly trained and the basic facilities were treated with more care.

• Erika (7/5): Good - The location of the hotel its amazing. The experience of being on accommodation surrounded by water makes it unique. Beautiful sunset, good food and cocktails. The staff was a bit disorganised. No structure, only volunteers. I didn’t appreciate that they didn’t talk about the tour in the evening (plankton tour). It was offered but at the end of the day nobody asked us if we wanted to go. They didn’t asked us for karaoke as it was written on the board. It’s important to have a staff who leads those activities. The tours were not that good. Very poor value. Expensive stay overall for what they offered you.

One of the volunteers was great, the other we didn’t go for whatsoever but I think shes just stepping in for someone being away. Overall had a great time and met great people. Definitely go here if you can

• Ciara (5/5): Passable - Location is amazing and is definitely an experience if you wish to visit the san Bernardo Islands. The surrounding blue water was amazing and the people we met there from all around the world was our highlight. One night seemed plenty. The view from the room was amazing. The food also was basic and at times there were lots of fly's near the cooking areas and eating areas. the breakfast was not nice. the smell from the toilets was unwelcome if understandable given the location of the island. The board at the bar advertises activities like karoke night however no activities like this seemed to have been organised. This would have been a welcome addition in the evening after dinner and sunset to help the group to socialise! The music being played in the evening was on a set and when we asked to play a song we were told no. The activities to the island and the snorkelling were not worth it.

• Ashlee (9/5): Unreal experience - once in a lifetime - Apart from the INCREDIBLE location, the whole idea of this accommodation is fantastic. Perfect place for a chill day into party night, surrounded by ocean and with fun staff. Awesome to meet people from all around the world too. Not an issue for us- but be prepared for a dribble of water as a shower.
