• Anneliza (9/5): A comfortable and convenient stay in a great location. - The place was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was perfect, especially being close to Sandton and nearby shops. The host was friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. It felt safe and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Somewhat can be private. - Struggled coming in with no one answering the cellphone when i can’t back late from groove. - SHOWER - worst ever! No water pressure at all. What a suffering. - Carpet - needs cleaning. - Receiving emails from booking.com saying i never showed up for my check-in and host cancelling the trip when i was at their establishment.

There is a gentleman who is so humble that welcomed us and was checking on us and we really appreciate him There are kids who constantly made noise and water was cold most of the time

The room had all I needed for my short stay, and there was also a spot to sit outside. The location is perfectly situated near Rivonia Village, with numerous restaurants and shops nearby. A 5-minute walk away! The area is also safe to walk around in. I will be back again!

• Ntuthuko (10/5): Fantastic - The room was very clean. The place comes with peace and a great sense of family. The pool was clean and the owners Murphy and Dee are amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Please put the extra blanket on the side as an option - other than that everything was amazing.

• Tharusha (7/5): Beautiful room - Loved the room. Stayed in the supreme suit. Liked that there's a smart TV, Ally was very welcoming, comfortable beds and nice chairs, available parking. Would probably stay here again. I booked and checked in an hour after, it was really nice this guesthouse could accommodate. There's a fan and heater, extra blankets, everything you need! The shower shelf was quite unstable, a faucet didn't work, the bathroom was not as pristine as the bedroom. The walls were very thin and we could here people outside and from the bathroom. One thing that really left a sour taste in my mouth was the cafe there that sold Nigerian food - my order was greatly messed up and I am a strict vegan, not to mention no prices on the menu. We were clearly scammed with being charged R400 for two meals - one of them not even being what I asked for, not even sure it qualifies as a meal as it was mainly just booked yams and some tomato chutney -We also waited 50 minutes. I sense that because my partner was a tourist we were charged tourist prices. This cafe needs more transparency and better communication.

• Elita (6/5): It is a very central location and a lovely venue with a lot of potential. - The room was exceptionally clean, I liked the cleanliness. It was also quiet and very central to a lot of amenities. We had a warm and friendly reception. Arriving at the venue we were not sure if it was the right place, no sign board or intercom at gate, we had to phone for reception, so a little intercom? bell at the gate would be nice. It would have been nice of there was a black out curtain in front of the glass door, we woke up to a bright room at 5 in the morning. A little shelf inside the shower would be nice as well as a cupboard with hangars to hang your clothing.

I did not stay at Murphy n Dee's Place, the pictures of the rooms are deceiving, the room offered was not like on the app. Everything. that is why i did not stay there, i had to look for an alternative accommodation. From the reception area it was not welcoming and, the room we were assigned to was at the of the yard in a scary area.
